I highly recommend 5 Point Plumbing for all your plumbing projects for 2 reasons: 1) They care about their reputation - they are very professional and do a great job, 2) Customer satisfaction is a priority for them.

5 Point Plumbing worked on venting my heat pump water heater in the garage to the exterior. My garage used to be very cold before the venting and is now comfortable. My circulation pump got damaged during the work and they replaced it as part of the warranty for the job. This quality of service earned them more work from me as they later worked on clearing a clog in my shower drain.

When a former employee (Manuel Aguilar) who was fired for incompetence lied about still being an employee and did another job for me, Omar provided a 2 year warranty to cover the work.

Regarding the former employee, Manuel Aguilar, he is a crook! If you ever run into him pretending to be a 5 Point Plumbing employee please beware! He's incompetent - does poor plumbing work - and doesn't have the integrity to show up if there's an issue. His incompetence got him fired from 5 Point Plumbing, but he's now doing the dishonorable thing of stealing 5 Point Plumbing customers.

Bathroom remodel with some plumbing shift and finish work installing faucets and toilet. They did a fantastic job. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

I hired 5 Point Plumbing for adjoining properties located in rural La Honda.
The first property needed a sewage line unclogged. Julio arrived on time per our scheduling, and assessed the problem. Julio was professional, knowledgeable and very informative of the issues. Once the assessment was made for one property, it was necessary to return with a hydra jet as well as other parts for the other property.
Re schedule for the Hydra jetting and repairs were reasonable, especially for the area were the properties are.
Upon the return trip, Omar arrived on time and like Julio, Omar was professional, knowledgeable and extremely informative of what the issues were, what needed to be done and what maintenance needed to be performed after the repairs were made so to avoid issues later which means high plumbing bills. I appreciated this very much. The honesty is appreciated and extremely welcomed. These days I consider this to be a rarity.
Repairs were performed swiftly and professionally. Omar was methodical with the repairs. The repairs are successful and they definitely surpassed my expectations. I've dealt with many vendors in the past who lacked the above characteristics I've deemed 5 Point Plumbing with.
Their labor cost is competitive. I did have an issue with the job cost for one of the properties. I found it to be too high for labor performed, but after a discussion with 5 Point, I was given a reasonable discount off my next service call.
I'd also like to give praise to Mariah who is the point of contact. She is very friendly and professional. Communication was good. My calls were answered swiftly as well as returned calls.
I highly recommend 5 Point Plumbing.

Julio was prompt, friendly, and courteous. He did a great job replacing several faucets and a toilet, and he made sure to wear a mask at all times and to clean up completely. The dispatcher (Maria?) was very efficient at scheduling and following up. And the price was extremely reasonable. Great experience!

I called 5 Point Plumbing because I had an overflow on a front yard sewer cleanout. A technician ( Julio ) showed up on time and was very nice and personal. He investigated the overflow area, sent a camera down the line and told me that the cleanout was a two-way cleanout; one direction toward the street ( the city problem) and the other direction was toward my home and he could see, 10 to 15 feet under the garden, that the sewer pipe from my home to the street was clogged with debris and roots. He connected a waterline with pressure down the pipe -- he said it was under the garden - and ""punched a hole"" so the debris could flow. At this point ( about 30 minutes later) he came to me and said that the front sewer line under my garden ( my front yard area) had to be replaced ( 25 feet in length) as it was totally clogged and could not be cleaned. He contacted his supervisor/plumbing office and gave me an estimate of $ 8,420.00 / with a senior discount, it came to $ 7,460.00 !! Of course, I choked at this price. I told him that I would give it some consideration, but would need additional estimates.

I then called my city street department, they were out to look at the stoppage within 30 minutes. Their evaluation was the cleanout was NOT a two-way cleanout, but a one-way cleanout and only to the city side, not under my property. They did a router service and a hydro clean of the cleanout to the direction to the street. Everything flowed perfectly after the city cleaned it out. - The plumber was wrong with his call, and evaluation, and I would have wasted about $8000.00 to replace 25 feet of the sewer line that was in good condition.

I called 5 Point Plumbing and ""complained"" about this tech Julio and his wrong evaluation and inability to recognize a one way clean out and not a two-way cleanout. The manager ( Omar) came to my home and confirmed that the cleanout was only a oneway, and the technician was totally incorrect with his evaluation of this issue. He apologized and we separated ""friends"".

Moral of this encounter ......... BE CAREFUL with this 5 point Plumbing Corp, or at least be aware that this type of overcharge could occur to you.
Be sure to get multiple estimates. AND, call your city to see if they will clean out the sewer line as part of their city services ( for free).
