If you need plumbing help or assistance, American Plumbing Services is the way to go. It's a common worry that basic plumbers won't be on time or will charge ridiculous amounts for small services, but American Plumbing Services employees are not basic plumbers. They go above and beyond and give excellent, affordable service, and show up promptly when they promise to. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and they will be my go-to if I ever need further service!

American plumbing was quick to respond to my own personal plumbing issue and as a realtor I've added them to my referral list! They're fast, efficient, and affordable! It's hard to find reliable plumbers so I was very excited that I was able to find someone that I can count on.

This is the worst case of deceit and attempted fraud I've experienced. AHS sent them to replace corroded anode lines discovered during a water heater flush (routine out of pocket maintenance). The guy warned me at the front door that "there could be a leak because of the recent flush". He didn't know I had checked the WH before he arrived. He returned from the attic immediately with a pic of water on the COLD water connection to "prove" there was a leak. The cold water hose is not disconnected in a flush. I showed them the door, went upstairs, and the water he had flicked on the hose was already dry.

If I could give this company zero stars I would! Lonnie came out to our home due to a gas leak. The plumber refused to do a leak test because he said American Homeshield would not cover it. I later learned this was not the case.

Lonnie literally did nothing. Even though gas leaks are covered by American Homeshield, he refused to do one. I then had to contact the City to come run a test and we did have a gas leak! The city pulled our meter and we were without water for a full 4 weeks while my boyfriend had to dig 24 inches of a trench to get to the gas line. We then had to pay another plumbing company (Levy & Sons) $4,000 to replace the gas line from our home to the meter.

This was a very dangerous situation that American Plumbing services left us in. I would never use. I am not arguing with American Homeshield to get our $75 refunded.

This company was sent out by American home shield. My appointment had to be rescheduled because the first person that was supposed to come was not able to show up. I was very understanding. On the day of my rescheduled appointment a man named Lonnie showed up and was very rude he entered into my house without introducing himself. I proceeded to try to explain to him the problem and he cut me off And told me that he would fix a major issue by putting ice down my garbage disposal. I again told him that he was very rude and ask for another representative. I called the company and at first they appear to be understanding and as though they were going to send someone else. However they did not and then told me that not to call them back and that they were going to charge American home shield. He did absolutely no work to my home and I was told by the owner that he did not care it was going to charge American Hope Shield and told me never to call them again.

James came out to our property for a service all from american home shield and told me he wouldn't do a leak pressure test because they charge $500 for this test and the warranty company would only pay them $150, which he would get in trouble for taking a $350 loss. Now I understand the economics of this, but a Pressure leak test at retail from other companies does cost around 150-200, they are just greedy and want to make money off AHS and me as a customer.
