I called this morning because I had a dripping from our laundry room sink. Right away the secretary gave me an appt for the afternoon. Not once did she mention how much a service charge would be to assess the situation. My fault for forgetting to ask. It's usually about $40-$60 though and if there is need for repair that money goes towards that repair. With HONEST companies. I informed my Husband the time frame the plumber was arriving. I go about my day and my contractor text messages me the issue from watching the video I sent. I was ecstatic, I could do this!! So I went under the sink with my flat head screw driver and turned that bolt with all my strength. Pregnant and all lol the dripping stopped it's the condensation pipe of the AC. It's a hard piece of pipe, not a hose.
I text my husband I fixed the issue and to cancel the appt.
Well, a couple of hours later my Husband walks into the house with the plumber. He never got my text! Fine, the plumber is here I'll have him check my work. I'll pay the service fee. I told him the issue, showed him the text from my contractor and he agreed. I left the laundry room to tend to work and my Husband went to the restroom. 5 minutes later we both went back into the laundry room and the plumber said he was all done, that was the problem I disclosed to him and he had ""tighten"" the bolt. I was confused as I had already done that. He then says ""it will be $100"". I started laughing. He said ""no really, the cost is $100"". I said why, that's crazy. He said it was $50 for the service call, I said okay. He said $50 to ""tighten"" the bolt. I said who told you to tighten the bolt, he said ""I assumed that's what you wanted"". He then said ""look at your house, what's $100 to you. You could afford it""! I was so disgusted and beyond uncomfortable, I said fine, just to get this guy out of my house! He said he would get the invoice. Instead of having him come back into my house, which he clearly had wondering eyes for, I went out to my front porch with my checkbook. He walked back up from his truck, we had awkward small talk as I wrote the check. I said no one told me the cost. He said we are so busy, the secretary forgot. They had several openings today though when given my appointment options. My husband was livid that he didn't even come outside. That $100 is groceries for the week for our family. I'm going to look at this as a charity case though and hope that $100 goes to someone else's family for their dinner table.
BEWARE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OTHER THAN LYING AND CASING OUT YOUR HOUSE. Thankfully, our family is trained and our home is safe. Stay safe out there folks and always keep your guard up!

Had a shower pipe leaking that needed fixed ASAP. American Plumbing came through with flying colors! They came within an hour of my call and was able to fix my shower within a couple hours. Prices were very reasonable, they were friendly as well as professional. I see why they were voted eight years in a row! I highly recommend American Plumbing and will definitely use them again in the future.

Great service! I had a small issue with my sink and noticed they were at my neighbors so I called and Javier was able to come to my house within the hour! Problem was fixed promptly, will definitely keep you in mind for any issues in the future.

American Plumbing came out today on a next day appt to fix 4 things the previous plumber broke. Javier is who came. He was extremely polite, friendly and quick. The work looks amazing and done very professionally. He corrected everything the previous guy broke ""fixing"" I would highly recommend this company!!!!

Called and left a message two days ago and still haven't got a return call. If you're business is shot down related to social distancing you should update your voicemail so people aren't waiting for a callback that isn't going to happen. Now when you call it rings three times then nothing.

I had an emergency back on 1/9/2020. I let the female who answered the phone know they details of the seriousness of this emergency since the fire department was here. I still, to date, have not received a call back. Luckily I was able to get another plumber out ASAP. Your receptionist was rude and condescending even to the fireman who was trying to help me find someone to fix the issue so my small children and I (in a wheelchair at the time) could return to the house. She was yelling at a dog while on the phone, and said she'd call back within 10 minutes after she talked to her plumber. She said he was still asleep. I never received a call back. It was evident that she/you did not want our business. I was originally happy to learn that you were a resident of the same small community. This lack of concern requiring even a simple callback to say you would not help has lost you not just me, but multiple customers in my neighbors, friends, and local family who all witnessed this from you. In fact, it was my neighbor who reminded me today that you stilll have not returned my call nearly a month later.

No problem with the quality of the work. However, don't let the plumbing crew in your garage though as you will find extension cords and other items missing. I'll try somebody else next time.

Had my water heater replaced today and I can not express how great Gabriel was. He showed up on time with a smile and informed me what he was going to do. Very professional and knowledgeable.
Also Christina who works in the office was great to deal with and quoted me a price and that was the price I ended up paying.
I called a couple other companies for quotes and they wanted a lot more money for the job.
This is the only company that I will use from now on.
