My home warranty company assigned them to come out to fix the pipe that had burst in my basement. They called to schedule the appointment almost immediately after I filed the claim, which I thought was a good sign. Wrong. They scheduled us for 7am on a Wednesday, my husband missed their call by maybe 10 minutes. When he called back he was told that they'd try to squeeze us in but if they're unable to their next available time is Friday. We called Thursday to verify the Friday appointment, no answer. We called Friday morning to verify, no answer. Friday afternoon a very rude woman finally answered and told me that our appointment was on Thursday and we missed it. When I told her that's impossible she got nasty and told me to call someone else. The worst scheduling and customer service ever.

Do not use this company. Rating is negative 10. Like the other reviews, American Home Shield supplied this company. Started out ok with initial appointment & then was rescheduled 2 times because they had emergencies to take care of. Day of service, called me to say tech was at my door. Went to door and no one was there. Called back and female rep said she call me back he must be at wrong place. No call so I called again and she stated working to find out where he is and asked for my address again. About 10 minutes later no call - so I called. Then the same female stated that the work order had to be placed and I said what are you talking about, the tech never came and I have a work order in with AHS... Call ended as she stated will call me back. 20 minutes later I call again and now the female rep is a really rude, stating it takes more than 2 minutes and I said I would call you.... then she hung up on me. At that point I called AHS to complain and then was did cancel this plumber. I'ld rather pay for quality service and professionalism in which this company has no knowledge of. Like I told AHS, why would I have a plumber from them work in my home after the female - I believe her name is Chris is rude and hangs up on the client. Simply Disgraceful. DO NOT USE.

My home warranty co gave me this company to repair a problem with my kitchen sink. They called scheduled my appointment and on the day they were supposed to be here, they called and said they sent all their plumbers to one site do to the flooding in the city. I was okay with that but a week later they still hadn't reschedule. upon speaking to my warranty company I learned they were told I missed my appointment and needed to call to reschedule. I still have no appointment and if all their technical staff were on one site and a week later they still can't do the work. They are not the company for me. Unprofessional to say the least. if it takes the whole company they must not be good. I couldn't give no stars as I would like

I was not surprised to read all the bad Yelp reviews, after my experience with American Plumbing. My home warranty referred me. A man called my wife, and asked her things she did not know (even though all the answers were in the work order I submitted). She said I was out of town and unavailable for the next few days, after which I could talk. They left me two messages and when I called back 3 business days later, a woman answered. She seemed very curt from the beginning--no sense of happiness or commitment to service. I thought it was strange when she breathed heavily into my ear for over a minute as I waited, but I thought that maybe she had exercised and that's why she was so short with me. She told me that my work order was cancelled because she could not get a hold of anyone in 5 days. I said that a man spoke to my wife 5 days earlier and she claimed no one from her company talks to customers other than her (which I imagine loses them a lot of business). She then claimed that she talked to me while I was in Florida (contradicting her own claim that she never reached anyone). As I tried to explain that we never talked and that I was definitely never in Florida, she cut me off repeatedly and began yelling mostly incoherently. When, I said, ""Whoa. Whoa. Can we take a step back?"" she responded by mocking me by making a voice and repeating what I said back to her (like my kids might do). After the second time, I questioned why she was treating me this way. She responded by saying that I was the problem and that we ""clearly can't work together."" I implored her for us to treat each other well and she hung up on me. I don't know if she was on drugs (based on the confusion and irrational anger) or has had some horrible traumas in her life. Whatever it is, I hope she seeks help so that she can be a happier person and start bringing joy instead of anguish to others.

My review is pretty much like every other review about this company. They missed their appointment time. When I called them some woman, who sounds like she smokes two cartons today, told me she is never wrong and to F off! Very classy and business professional! Stay far away from these jokers!

I agree with all the other 1 stars reviews. Can we give zero stars? It starts with the RUDE lady answering the phone to the not showing-up for my appointment. I may leave American Home Shield because of them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Like all of the other reviewers, American HomeShield sent this company to us to fix our garbage disposal and leaking faucet. They came and fixed the faucet but not the garbage disposal. When we went through American HomeShield they told us they would send them out again.

American Plumbing never showed for our time window, so we called and were told they were running behind but would be there. By 9pm we knew they were not coming. We went through numerous calls with American HomeShield but never got a new appointment made.

When we called American Plumbing ourselves, they first didn't answer then we were told ""they would get back to us"". She then expressed to me she already spoke to the Mr. in a very frustrated tone. To which I responded I am at work and cannot speak to him but the American HomeShield company told us to call them. She continued to be incredibly rude and I told her I did not appreciate her attitude and she snapped back at me, stated they would call us back and proceeded to hang up. Such great customer service!

I would never in a million years send anyone including my worst enemy to this company.

The absolute worst. I would give negative stars if I could.

Our home warranty company sent them out to us when a drain pipe in our basement broke. The on-site repair person who came out was fine. Luckily, our dishwasher was the only appliance in the house that hooked up to the drain at the point where it broke, so as long as we don't use our dishwasher it's ok. They had to order a part, so they told us someone would call to make an appointment once they had it. A few days later, having heard nothing, my husband called the company and talked to a woman named Chris, who gave us a day and time when they'd be coming back.

Well, the day they were supposed to return came and went. No call. No show. No answering their phone when we called to find out what the heck was going on. A day or two later, Chris called us in the morning ""to make an appointment for when someone could come back."" When I asked her what happened with the appointment we already had, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about, and told me that no one had made an appointment and that we must have misunderstood. She acted like I was the one being unreasonable for asking why they didn't show. Ok. Fine. She said that they would put us down for Thursday (today). I made sure this time that we had an actual appointment and that someone would actually be coming. I thanked her and we got an email confirmation from our home warranty company of the pending appointment.

Well, surprise surprise, they were a no-call no-show again today. When my husband called a half hour after the end of the appointment window to see whether they were coming ""Chris"" AGAIN denied that we'd actually had an appointment, and claimed that she'd told me the time and date was tentative (news flash - she didn't). When my husband asked her when we were EVER going to end up getting someone out to fix our drain pipe, she started making excuses and threatening him that she would ""put us at the end of a list of 30 people"".

This is the worst customer service we have encountered from any home repair company ever, and that includes the time an HVAC repair person tried to pressure me into buying a new furnace while he was at our house to repair a small issue and I was feeding my newborn. I can totally understand when someone has a bad day, or a company gets into a tough situation with a truck down or people calling off. But this went beyond scheduling issues. If you're unlucky enough to have an apparently pretend appointment with these folks, don't hold your breath, and don't expect to get any kind of professional courtesy or assistance from Chris.
