The plumber came our home at 7:50am this morning. He was able unclogged the toilet sink in 5 minutes, but my toilet needed double flapper. He said he is going to home deport and buy it. I told him if you charge for shopping fee, I don't want to continue the service. He said he will not charge for the shopping fee. He came back from Home Depot after 40 minutes which less than a mile from our home. Then he finished (temporary fix) the job
The entire job was completed within 20 minutes. He spent the the hour very wisely for charging the service fee .

He charged me for an entire hour whiche is $250. I was charged $250 for under $100 job.


Today(2024/04/24) :
The flapper link was broken in 2 hours. I called the company and they sent the plumber again. He again did a temporary fix but the water started leaking into the toilet. They are saying that is not part of the job. They want me to hire another company/person to fix that.

The laday at front desk told me the owner is going to call me but he never did. He called his employee but he didn't have to time to talk to me for 2 minutes to solve issue.

This company cares about money. Just be careful when you hire for any service from this company.

I highly recomond NO to this company for any job.

Esteban showed up timely even though it has been an extremely busy time this month. He was thorough to check for possible causes of problems with radiant heating system and demonstrated a very complete knowledge of the boiler and system. It was anticipated that a circulation pump may be faulty which would be a costly repair. However, through diligent checks only a simple valve adjustment was necessary. Thank you for the completeness of the evaluation! Highly Recommended.

I requested a change from our old regular water heaters to tankless ones, and stipulated that we must maintain our early recirculation hot water system that was operational at the time, in the fall of 21. We also added central air conditioning to our central forced air system at the same time. When we came back the winter of 21-22 our hot water recirc system didn't work and our washing machine right next to the water heaters had only hot water, no cold. We asked for a correction of these errors. To their credit the air conditioning is OK and they came out at least 4 times to try and fix the hot water, but they were NEVER able to fix either of the hot water problems, and finally quit answering my emails to the owner and my phone calls. I finally gave up and hired a different contractor who fixed all the problems in one try. Not having the knowledge and ability to fix the problems they caused is sad, but refusing to even return emails and calls is inexcusable

Complete joke of an estimate....I have a simple1400SF 3bdr small condo... quote for a 4 zone mini split system install, not including electrical work. $28,000.... wih the complete system costs $6000..... $22k to install (one day job at most)? Seriously?

I'd leave one star if I could. DO NOT USE THEM, they will rip you off. They promised to service our home on a Thursday. Three days out they called to ask if they could instead come on Friday. We told them we would have to reschedule our vacation plans to accommodate a Friday visit. They told us Friday was our only option, so we agreed to Friday. They called us the morning (Friday) of our service to inform us they wouldn't be coming and didn't care how much they had inconvenienced us. They offered no solution other than an apathetic ""oh well, too bad, so sad."" DO NOT USE. They cannot be trusted.

Complete joke. I've spent $60k~ with these guys this year. When they were installing a bath tub drain, they flooded my garage and attempted to overcharge me. More recently, they spend a month messing up schedules to take care of an issue for me. I finally told them I had to move on- the owner never apologized, despite the repeated failings on their part. They would claim things were fixed, or never show up. One tech. cancelled last minute, because he found out he needed to move his apartment. Brad, the owner, never calls back. I finally gave up, got my refund, which the agreed to (given how lousy they had handled everything). Now fast forward, I have an issue with my humidifier they installed 6 months ago. They dont want to come back out to fix it, so aren't going to honor their work. I don't blame them- they'd mess it up anyway!

Do NOT use this company. In my opinion they are totally incompetent and unethical, the worst plumbing company I have ever used. To unclog a Basic kitchen drain and change a faucet I supplied they billed me over $1000. I was charged $533.68 extra for a basic snake, when I had been told on the phone when I scheduled their service by I believe her name was Jessica, that there was no extra charge for a snake. The first ""plumber"" they sent after an hour clearly did not know what he was doing. He was on the phone almost the entire hour with his office. Another 2 plumbers later arrived and all 3 were laughing it up in my kitchen. When I complained I needed only 1 plumber, I was told don't worry you won't be charged for us- wrong. I was billed for 2 hrs for both a lead tech and journeyman at their hourly rates when 1 normal competent plumber could have easily completed the job in 1 hour. I have photos of all 3 plumbers joking around in my condo and the snake for which they charged $533.68 extra, about the size of a car battery, although I was told it was included in the hourly rate. They are a complete rip off.

Had a great experience with American Plumbing. We've used them three times now. Once to repair a toilet and do a servicing of our furnace and water filtration. Another for a free quote on a new A/C unit and finally for a water heater service. They were timely, courteous, and efficient. I would see them again and recommend them.

I do not recommend this company. They came out to fix a minor leak in a bathtub. The window of arrival was scheduled between 10am and Noon. No one called or showed up until after 1pm. The plumber then proceed to explain the problem but said he wouldn't fix it, that it is outside of his scope of service. The sealant around the tub surround had failed and he called his boss and they decided they couldn't help me. I then received an invoice via email 3 days later for $185, for basically just telling me what the problem was but not fixing it. I mailed a check the same day as I received the invoice for it stated they would accept check payment if received within ten days yet, they went ahead a charged my credit card 4 days after emailing the invoice. This company doesn't care about customers, just out for quick money. Avoid at all costs.

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this service. I contacted this company yesterday and they came out to the property this morning. Mustafa was incredibly kind and professional and was the first person to be able to resolve the issue (2 other techs from a different company tried and failed). I very much enjoyed using this company and I'm looking forward to having them continue to service this system. Highly recommend!
