Where do I even begin... I will leave emotion out of this: Facts alone ... I was billed for 7 hours and they did not work that... When i contacted office ... they creatively distorted the truth and changed the already paid invoice ... I mean it's hard to argue with a Creative Thief ... I thought i was hiring a professional plumbing company and the work on my ourside faucet is way below the standard of anything I would call professional ... It is crooked and they left a HUGE MESS! I feel sorry for them especially because the Logo Van was parked in my driveway for 6 hours and then the outside faucet was all the neighbors see from this company .... If you hire this company Good Luck! Maybe you will get a good team and good customer service but why risk it ! And not a warranty or guarantee in sight, according to the lady in the office Lacey .

I took the day off work for an appt I arranged 3 weeks prior only to have them o-show. Told me I cancelled the appt. to be fair, I used them years ago for my water heater and they were very fair then but won't use again if they can't be depended on.

Our kitchen ceiling was leaking. I checked a few companies for quotes and chose American Plumbing. The service man said he'd have to cut the ceiling to find out from where the leak was originating. I told him all I could figure was that the upstairs toilet was directly above the leaking downstairs ceiling. He did some checking and concluded he would still need to cut the ceiling. He did and, after examining the plumbing in the ceiling, he could not find any leakage. After over an hour his supervisor arrived and asked him if he checked the sealant around the toilet upstairs. He had not. The sealant was leaking!! Now, I have a hole in the kitchen ceiling which they said was my responsibility to have repaired. I debated that with the owner who reluctantly agreed to have it done but would not repaint the ceiling. We were selling our property and needed the ceiling repainted to show well. It cost us over $300 dollars extra to have the ceiling repainted and a lot of convincing that American Plumbing should be responsible for the drywall and knockout patching, all because the plumber did not check a basic leakage issue around the toilet. Never would I recommend their incompetency. (This happened two years ago. I'm STILL concerned for other victims who may fall prey to this kind of service from a company that has been in business for over 40 years and does not know the definition of customer service!)

Excellent Service. Timely. They delivered in the clutch. My wife called when our tankless water heater failed in the middle of packing to leave for a family emergency. American Plumbing Contractors responded immediately and properly diagnosed and fixed the problem. They even returned at a later date as a courtesy to replace the filter that they unclogged on the initial visit. I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism and service in a time of need. They're on speed-dial for my next household plumbing need.

i called to get an estimate for installation of a 28 gallon water heater. they wanted $500 to install a $300 water heater. it takes an hour or less to install which means their rate would be $500 per hour. that insane and greedy as hell

Owners are personable, they love hearing from their customers, and have great relationships with their vendors and major general contractors in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
