AMERICAN PLUMBING IS GONE its now JD Plumbing with an absolute RUDE and ignorant Receptionist that answers the phone..If she cannot take an appointment how can They stay in Business. She going too loose a lot of Customers..She talked over me and yelled at me bcuz she couldn't get my address Really...GO TO ANOTHER PLUMBING CO. ..you will be BETTER off.

Read your bill carefully. We were overcharged. A plumber worked for 4 hours and charged us 6 hours.

For years have used American Plumbing and always had very
professional services provided. Receptionist is very friendly and
efficient with setting up a quick appointment. Today had to have
two new toilets installed in my home, as well as snaking a slowly
draining shower and installing a new facet in the bathroom.

All accomplished to perfection! Highly recommended!!

I'm very appreciative of the service myself and family have received over the years from American Plumbing. I've even referred them to neighbors and they as well have been very happy. They have been consistently timely, courteous and professional. Never an issue and responses to plumbing issues were prompt when I have been in crisis mode. Mostly do to my lack of DYI skills. At one point long before I became acquainted with American, I had a company come out to replace a broken water valve to washer. They informed me had to rip out wall and replace water lines! I said no way. Contacted American and it was a quick easy fix. They had my trust and loyalty from that point on. I have to say as well Roger with American has been my repeat plumber. He is absolutely great! Thank you again for the years of great service!! Your the Best!!

We had one plumber from this company out and he temporarily fixed our problem because 2 days later we had a MAJOR overflow which flooded an entire floor in our home, thankfully it was a cement floor. We called them back and they sent out another plumber and he pulled something out is what he told us. When he finished, it appeared that he had done the exact thing that the previous plumber had done. He asked for the payment and we hesitated as this should have been a call back, same toilet, same problem... The woman that works the office was rude and short with us, she wasn't willing to work with us at all. I would not recommend this company. We used them because it's our vacation home so we aren't familiar with plumbers in the area, we thought being that Carmel is a smaller town there wouldn't be many, however, there are plenty of other plumbers in the area. Save your money and energy and find somewhere else.

American Plumbing installed a Nuvo water softener into our new home and everything has been great. They are very willing to work with your schedule and extremely nice people.

Not 24 hours at all. I once called with a problem on a Saturday during the day, they were great. Tonight, my shower won't turn off, the shutoff valve at the street is rusted, and when his over-the-phone solutions didn't work (turn off the hot water heater) he just argued with me that it should work. Well, it didn't. My house was built in 1938, things don't always work like they're supposed to. At first, he told me that the on-call guy couldn't get here 'til 9p (it's 8p), I said that's fine. By the end of the call, he told me there was no one available after all. 24 hours? Clearly just a gimmick. Lost a customer for life!!!

We used this plumber them because they were sent by our appliance insurance company. They gave us a quote for putting in a new boiler, but before the boiler was working properly, kept billing us to keep coming back for what they said was additional work. Winter was approaching and we needed hot water and a working heating system, so we felt we were being held hostage while we continued making payments for a boiler that still did not work. The owner of the company never came to see why it wasn't working and we finally had to hire a different company to complete the work. We ended up paying twice as much as their original quote! We learned our lesson. We had two other quotes from plumbers we know and trust and would have paid the same as the ""low bidder"" but without all the headaches and days without heat or hot showers.

American Plumbing is the best experience. They have always promptly answered their phones, are extremely couteous and willing to help. I've even had an over the phone consultation that helped me quite a bit and saved me on paying for a visit. They arrive right on time, are incredibly knowledgeable and have really made my life easier. It's nice to trust a company and know they are taking great care of you.
