One word AMAZING! After just moving into my new rental home I noticed a leak under the bathroom sink. I called the property manager who then hired American Plumbing to fix the problem. With it being a Saturday night at 8pm I wasn't thinking it would be fixed so promptly and efficiently! It was also a holiday weekend none the less!! The technition Kurt was nice and friendly and knew exactly how to fix the problem.
He made a piece in the van to fix the leak! Amazing! I don't know the pricing BC I am a renter but when I do own my own home I would never use another plumbing company. Thank you again :)

When I am busy scooping water from the tub to the toilet to keep it from overflowing, it is an EMERGENCY and American Plumbing was definitely the fastest there to help me out.

After the dumb mistake of not shutting off the water before taking out the bath fixture, I found myself with water coming out of the wall into a tub that is clogged and water leaking through the walls into the laundry room downstairs, I had to get a plumber there right away. I actually called a DIFFERENT plumbing company whose dispatcher acted so calm that I felt like she did not take my matter urgently. While I'm scooping away, she asked for my first and last name and more detailed information. Finally she said she can get a plumber there in 50 minutes or less but someone will call me.

As I'm elbow deep in water still scooping and the laundry room now has about an inch of water on the floor, this OTHER company called and said they were on their way and close by. After another 5 minutes, I finally called American Plumbing. Eric (I believe) took my problem seriously and urgently. Getting the bare minimum information, he already sent his plumber on the way. He was able to track where they were via GPS and within 10 minutes, they arrived! (The OTHER company still hadn't gotten there yet!)

Kurt and (I'm so sorry but I forgot his name) were so great! Before even knocking on the door they went ahead and shut off the water first! I was so grateful. Since they were there, I had them change out the cartridge in my shower so I can have hot water again. While one person was fixing the shower, Kurt actually helped me clean up the laundry room! He lent me their wet/dry vac. He helped removed the clothes in the laundry room and then gave me some suggestions on how to dry out the room and also a recommendation for a restoration company.

They were fast and efficient and very helpful and professional! When you're in an emergency, you want a company that will treat it like it's an emergency and come bail you out and American Plumbing did just that!

My husband and I have used American Plumbing twice. They installed new valves on both occasions, and were prompt, efficient and courteous. We no longer have the leaking problem. However, prices were quite a bit higher this year as compared to last year. We would continue to use their services.

I have had the worst experience and UN professional experience with this company. My manager at our apts called them to fix our bathroom sink. the whole knob on the sink was not letting the water turn off, and there was barely any water coming out. me and my boyfriend work full time. my mother in law was home told them the problem. The worker said there was nothing wrong with the sink. obviously there was. American Plumbing then charged the apartments for"" a shower leak"" that was never there. I finally got a hold of the company and explained it was never fixed. They were very speedy in sending a tech out within an hour or so. The tech got there and gave a rude attitude to my mother in law accusing her of lieing. The sink should be fixed today according to them, i will see when i get home. very UN happy with them and the UN professional attitude and lack of customer service.

My house was built in 1974 and the handle on my shower faucet broke. The cartridge needed to be replaced which was made by American Standard (not to be confused with American Plumbing.) The problem is finding the right cartridge was like finding a needle in a hay stack. Because my shower fixture was 40 years old, the company who made the parts. were no help. They directed me to a Home Depot,, and I spent an hour in Home Depot with a courteous professional researching their website looking for the right cartridge so we could get a model number to order it to no avail. They suggested I replace the entire valve which would have been a tremendous amount of work, having to cut through tile etc.

I called American Plumbing; John and Isah came out on a Monday, took photos of the carridge. Isah researched, found the correct cartridge, went to a wholesaler and secured the following day. During this time Sandy was calling and apprising me with updates on their progress. John came out that same day as soon as the part was secured. He fixed a leaking toilet and my shower cartridge in under 30 mins. John, Isah & Sandy at American Plumbing really came through and I'm being matter of fact when I say their service, pricing, follow-up and professlisim were phonomenal. Thank you guys very much, I have saved them in my contacts and like a good accountant, car-repair, lawyer; I feel now I have found the right Plumbing company.

My elderly mother called to have a line cleaned out. Every time she has had it cleaned out, the garage clean out has been used.

She called American plumbing. The sewer rat, can't call him a plumber, tapped the main line and nearly broke the water main, instead of listening to her requests to use the garage clean out. He dismissed what she was saying and did this after searching for 30 minutes to find the clean out in the front and also digging up a gardenia plant. He ran the snake from the broken sewer clean out to the inside of the house. When he left, he left the sewer line break exposed. Then said it would be $500 to put in a 2 way clean out.

When I looked at it the next day, I told my mother that it was exposed. She did not know and was very upset that it was not done properly.

When my mother called to complain, the owner realized that he was not going to make the $500 to fix the job. He told my mother to hire a handyman to put a steal plate over the pipe and pour concrete over the top, (which is against code), and let it be the next owner's problem.

Now my mother has to hire another company to do the work that should have been done to begin with.

COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
