I had a bad leak in the pipe leading to the hose bib and had never used a plumber at this house, so I went on Yelp and found APAR in Chandler. They had great reviews so I gave them a call. They were able to come out the next day and fix the leak. It was a lot more work than we thought it would be, but the price was very fair given the number of hours it took to make the repair. Very professional. I will definitely use them again.

Rich answered the phone promptly, answered questions, provided a quote (which they stuck to), and was able to schedule for the next morning. Quality work to replace 2 gas water heaters, hauled away the old ones, oriented me on maintenance to maximize the life of these new ones. Jake showed up on time and rest of the crew shortly after. Good workmanship, courteous crew, and a fair price. Only thing that seemed high was the leak pans I had them put underneath the heaters--more expensive and didn't look to be as good or deep as what I saw at Home Depot. Everything working well and they cleaned up the area before leaving. Trustworthy, skilled, fair pricing--now I have a go-to plumber!

After attempting to have other plumbing companies to even call me back, Rich was prompt, professional and transparent the entire time. We had suspected an underslab leak, but there was no evident signs other than our meter rapidly running (3-5 gallons/minute!) and hearing the water running in the pipes when nothing was on in the house. Rich came out and confirmed what was going on, and scheduled me the next day to have a leak locator come out. They were able to locate the leak Tuesday, gave me some time to have cabinetry pulled and fixed the leak by noon on Wednesday.
The entire time Rich and Jake were punctual, professional and very honest with what they were finding. Even their leak locator was answering questions for us we hadn't even thought to ask. Prior to fixing the leak on Wednesday they performed a temporary fix Tuesday so we could still have water in the rest of our house and not have to worry about the leak.
There was no salesman pressure to have American Plumbing finish the job. We were absolutely given the opportunity to shop around and use other plumbers. Working for a general contractor, I was able to tell his pricing was more than fair and he was 100% transparent about all costs. There were no hidden fees or anything. The number he told me is what I ended up paying. Even better - he honored a discount that I was not aware of, AND he reduced the cost of the overall job because it went better and quicker than expected.

Short of the long: Rich and Jake are honest and professional, who made us feel like we were being well taken care of. Not once during the entire problem or repair did we feel like we didn't really know what was going on or that we were dealing with a shady business. We will definitely be using them again for any future plumbing needs. Just hopefully not any time soon! Thank you Rich & Jake!

Called at 7am because our water heater went out. Talked to Rich and he gave me a few reasons why but basically asked how old the water heater was and that they now usually only last 6-8 years and that's with doing yearly maintenance which I failed to due. Jake came out around 8am and said Rich was following him with a new water heater I decided to purchase. Jake talked to me about what he was going to do and proceeded. Rich and Jake replaced the water heater and was done about 9:30. Rich explained to me about maintenance. They are very professional but friendly. Easy to communicate with. Couldn't ask for better service and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Impressed!! Called yesterday, I explained the problems that needed repair. Rich explained the process involved to make the repairs and quoted cost.
