I have found my plumber for life. I had 3 different plumbers come out to fix my water pressure in my shower, and NONE of them gave me a straight answer about what was wrong. American Plumbing and Rooter and Rich were fantastic. He was honest, upfront, and realistic about everything that needed to be done to fix my problem. Jake was the technician they sent and he did an amazing job! He even took the time to explain to me what he did, why my water pressure was low, and any maintenance I can do in the future. 10/10 would recommend to anybody for reliable and superb customer service.

Great job by Rich and his company. His commitment and communication is excellent! Had a toilet and sewer smell problem. Rich showed up on the agreed upon time frame and showed video of the problem and quoted a fair price. Completed the work and cleaned up. I have had issues in the past with other companies not showing up and the work being subpar. But Rich was great and his work was awesome. Will use again for other plumbing issues and installs.

I contacted them about purchasing and installing a tankless natural gas water heater. After telling the man who answered where we lived and what we wanted he proceeded to tell me that a tankless water heater would be 3-4 times as expensive as a traditional water heater and that it may not be right for me. After clarifying that we had a small home and only two people living here and our current natural gas water heater was failing he quoted me $3500-4000 for the purchase and installation of a tankless system.

He talked himself out of my business in about 2-1/2 minutes.

Although they have a 5 star rating on yelp as of today, I was not impressed.

By far the best plumbing experience ever! Second to none, Rich is a professional. I have his number in my phone and will never bother with another plumber. He was able to extract a mass of tree roots without having to destroy the floor or the pipes. Saved me thousands! Though this is a temporary fix, I will definitely have Rich come back to do the real fix in the future.

Well a Saturday ""I can do that"" went awry and the main water valve to the house broke when it was partially re-opened. Deciding the house had won I contacted Rich to schedule an appointment. On a late Saturday afternoon, he answered promptly and said he could schedule me first thing Monday. He came out on time and replaced the valve and a whole list of things I had planned for the next couple of weeks in a couple of hours. Rich is well equipped and knowledgeable. He and his assistant completed the work and cleanup professionally and at what I found to be a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
