Beware! This company has no contractors license! I asked for a number and did not get it. A simple clean out of the washing machine line was all that was necessary. They created 4 other major plumbing problems in the process! Waited 4 entire days on them to come fix these. Worse customer service ever but I do compliment one employee who really worked to fix the others' screw-ups. Things were broken that should not have even been touched. Run away from this company. Read the comments about them on the yellow pages site. They are not ligate and owner is a scammer who has taken thousands of dollars from elderly people. Every time one of the guys showed up, they were mostly about telling me what else I needed done for thousands of dollars! May I never ever need another plumber!

If you hire this guy, he doesn't have a license to do business so therefore he doesn't have insurance to cover for the work he's doing. His license hasn't been updated since September of 2013. Do not hire Al Solano to work for you. He lies and is verbally abusive.

I never actually got around to using them, and I never will. I called them before I found the reviews on here and they were already on their way when I saw the negative comments. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt before canceling. Every negative comment about this company came true plus two others. While on the phone with the so called ""owner"" I asked for there CA contractors license number. His comment was ""why? Who wants to know?"" Thank god the contractor on his way to my house for an estimate had to cancel. The topper is that I received a phone call at 10:15 pm from a random Oxnard number that I obviously let go to voicemail. Al, ""the owner"" left a message trying to get my business and hung up mid sentence. Hahaha try somewhere else

Completely incompetent, and horrible service.

I would avoid these guys. Called them at 5pm, said he would finish the job and drive over. 7pm and the guy is nowhere, call him. Says he is on his way. 8pm guy is still not here, so I call him. He says he can't find the house. I find out where he is (about 10 min away) and give him directions. 9:15pm guy finally arrives. The guy is incredibly sloppy and dirty. Guy seems to be clueless. Guy struggles for three hours, makes a disgusting mess in both bathrooms, kitchen, and hallway. Gives up in house and tries from roof, which will be an additional $30. Wants to use a camera, and pull toilet up which will be another $150. I decline. After midnight now, and he gives up saying he will return tomorrow, but since he didn't fix the bathroom he will do me a favor and cut me a ""deal"" only $65. Says his boss will be angry, but ""he will deal with him"". I offer to call his boss. Guy very insistently says that is not needed. I offer again. He again emphatically declines, and insists that I not call his boss.

I advise people avoid this man and company. Name on van is ""Day & Night Rooter Man"", name in ad is ""American One Plumbing"". Horrible experience, and a total waste of time.

Here is our experience. These guys are a nightmare. They arrived late, did not have the equipment or parts necessary to do the job on arrival then left on our dime. They then, overcharged and hassled us endlessly for billing that was not warranted.
The supervisor, Al, is unprofessional, promising the world and exaggerating the problem. He brought in people without prior approval and then charged for them. He made inconsistent demands on an endless series of phone and text messages. His text messages were barely decipherable and unprofessional. His voice mails were offensive and inappropriate.
In short we are sorry we ever picked this company from the phone book to work on our home.

We had a plumbing done a few days ago by someone connected to this phone number and it was a poor experience for us. They gave us 3 different company names, none of which were American One Plumbing: when they first arrived, they introduced themselves as coming from Dr. Dream. Next, they told us to make the check out to 'Day & Night Plumbing'. The receipt listed 'AR Construction' as the company. These plumbers were disorganized and unprofessional. They came out one day to look at the problem and said 1) they would need to buy some parts for the repair and 2) we would need to arrange with the other tenants in our building so they could turn off the entire building's water to complete the repair. Because of that, we arranged with them to come back 4 days later and complete it. Meanwhile, I went through a lot of trouble arranging with the other tenants to turn off the water 4 days later. When it came time for the appointment, 4 days later, they still hadn't gotten the part. They just came by to look at the problem again. They then rescheduled to come back a third time, so they ended up turning off the water on another day when the other tenants weren't warned they would lose their water.

After the repair, the plumbers did not return things to their original condition. They turned off our hot water and only half turned on the building water. They insisted that they had not turned off our hot water, but the knob was set to the off position. It took several days to get them to come back and turn on the main water to the building. Finally, a different plumber came out and turned on the main water. These plumbers were hard to get a hold of, very expensive, and difficult to work with.
