Service was timely, few days early which was nice as they had an opening. Found the leaks at the skimmers and pressure tested the plumbing. Appreciate positive customer service to explain the issues and approach by there technicians. Pricing seems reasonable.

I had these guys come out to find a leak in my pool and to make a long story short, they "found" a leak. I had my pool company come out, cut a hole in my new deck based on where they said the leak was. When the pool contactor got into the area that American Leak Detectors said the leak was, there was no leak. I called ALD and told them what the repair company said and they sent out the technician again to look for a leak. After spending 2 day looking for the leak again the technician said the leak was in the connector pipe in the pool wall. I had my pool repair company come out again and once again, they could find the leak. They replaced the pipe that ALD said was the problem, but they said there was a leak somewhere else. I called and told ALD that I wanted them to come back out and test the pool again. Rick, the manager was a jerk and after 2 or 3 phone calls he told me he was going to charge me another $200 to have someone come out. I got pissed off and hung up on him


DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS!!!! They obviously don't know what they are doing .

The representative, Shawn, was very good. I informed the company of a leak in a water feature...they drove all the way out only to tell me they cannot test that leak. Could this not have been discussed prior to coming out? Shawn = good. I am a little frustrated with the company.

Very professional. Detailed report. I could have avoided the $550 charge if they told me they won't test a water feature.

Loved how they showed up with a mask. They were on time, very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend Angel A. With ALD. Would definitely use ALD for any further leak detection in my home.

Pool Leak. I would not recommend this co. for leak repair. I went out of town 3 days after they came to do the repair. I did not return until the 60 day warranty was expiring. While I was gone I had a pool water leveler connected which maintained the pool level. After returning and removing the leveler I could see it was still leaking. I called American leak detection. The first thing I was told is "you warranty is expired, If you need more service you will be charged". They are technically correct. Not sure that is the way I would have approached it. The service tech. was a nice guy.

They were contacted for a pool leak. They had to jack hammer out and replace the leaking skimmer twice because it was improperly installed by their technician the first time. Would not recommend their services.

Tommy is great. Eight months ago, our pool had a slow leak. Tommy came out and went though some tests but did not find the leak at the first trip; he came back found the leak in the light area. He made a video and a complete report. He also fixed the leak with epoxy and recommended to find a longer-term repair. We did not do that until now, as it shows a slow leak again. Tommy recommended us to another pool company. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Tommy has been very helpful from then and now; we understand that fixing is not part of the detection job. Tommy is honest and you can trust him.

American Leak Detection came out and assessed our pool in early Spring. The leak detector was very nice and polite and that is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. I advised the leak detector that I thought the pool was leaking around the light. The leak detector allegedly investigated the light as well as the pool lines and seam, but could not figure out what was wrong. When the leak detector left he did not leave the system in the same manner as he found it. The owner did have the leak detector come back out and made sure the system was left in the same manner it was found.
However, after several more months of our swimming pool leaking water, we called Leakology to reassess the leak. I bet you will never guess what was leaking. Of course it was leaking around the pool light. Leakology resolved our issue and I am a happy camper as the pool is no longer leaking water.

Matthew did a great job fixing the leaks in my pool. He showed up on time and even came out on a Saturday to take care of the leak before it could do more damage to the structure below the pool. He was very professional and I was very impressed with the care he took to ensure the job was done right. I will use him again if I ever get another leak.
