This company should not be in business, they don't actually do the detection that they are supposed to do and then try to charge you. I reached out to them for a leak and pool detection both reports that they gave back were false, I had to pay someone to come out based on their report and they actually told me that report was false and directed me to the correct people to fix the issue. I told this company that and they said they would send the technician out again and he came back for the home leak and just said the same thing that I told them that the other specialist said and then never came back for the pool. The guy who actually came and did the pool (because this company said there was no leak) stated that it's impossible that American Leak detection actually did a review and they clearly just charged me without doing any analysis. Now they have been calling me and harassing me, being rude about payment for a review that was actually never done. I feel bamboozled that they would charge me for an incorrect analysis. I will be reporting this company. Judging from the other reviews this is something they do often. PLEASE beware and do not hire this company.

Christen was a polite, hard worker. Unfortunately I am in a dispute with the company over their guarantee for work previously done. The workmanship was shoddy, the pipe broke and I had to spend $350 for the inspection. I would recommend running, not walking away from this company.

We had a couple of pipes burst during the freeze in January of this year insurance company sent out a company called leak detection. I met the plumber. Super nice guy. I would strongly recommend this company. Great customer service great attitude everything about being a professional this company is the gentleman's name was Chris.

They were used as a subcontractor by Dawson Foundation Repair after our foundation was leveled. The Tech was prompt, friendly and very professional. The work was done quickly without a problem. I would definitely contact them if I had a problem that needed to be investigated.

Graham was great as he spent a lot of time getting to the bottom of my problem, THE LEAK". Communicated every time I asked for information and was helpful about how to fix it on my own or have the company fix it. At first I thought it was expensive before they came , but now I realize it was the best decision I could have made to get to the bottom of it. I highly recommend Graham and this company.

This is my experience that will hopefully help others decide if they want to hire American Leak Detection (ALD).

I phoned ALD and they said they can come out to locate a water leak, but they will not repair it. Their service technician Nick was nice when he came out and marked an X and square box with black electric tape on my concrete driveway where he said he detected the leak on my main water line under my concrete driveway. I hired Construction R Us to repair the leak, and unfortunately after cutting a hole through my concrete driveway and digging down several feet where ALD marked, there was no water pipe or leak found (Richard the owner of Construction R Us said the mark was bullshit). But after digging around more, Richard's crew noticed the leak appeared to coming from a couple feet away, so they told me in order to fix the leak they would need to take an extra day and charge an extra $500 to re-dig and extend the hole under my concrete driveway. Because of that extra cost, I didn't ask ALD for a refund, but I did ask if they could at least discount their $425 charge. They said there'd be no discount because they refused to believe their mark was off, even after I emailed them photos of their mark and the repair patch for comparison. They didn't believe what I said or what the photos showed. They told me their technician marked the leak correctly and have no control if/when a plumber doesn't completely excavate the marked area indicated, and they were successful and did exactly what they were hired to do.

ALD argued with me lot back and forth several times before they finally decided to send their tech out with a tape measure and measure the concrete repair patch that confirmed I was right about their repair being outside of their mark. ALD's tech then said he'd charge me $325, but his attitude turned very unprofessional and he started arguing with saying the customer isn't always right before speeding off in his van very angry.

My whole experience with ALD was very stressful overall and wasted a lot of time. My suggestion to anyone is to choose another company to locate and mark your underground water leaks. Choose a company that will treat you better as a customer if things go wrong.

Very impressed with the service provided by American Leak Detection in replacing one of my skimmers. The price was fair and the warranty longer than most. The service technician, Edgar, was professional and gave you confidence that the job was being done right. It has been 11 days since the work was completed and the leak has been stopped.

Terrible company. We paid them $500 to find the leak in the jacuzzi, then $2950 to repair it.
When we refilled the jacuzzi, it emptied out immediately. They came back and said there was another leak, but we don't fix that kind of leak.
