Our neighbor told us about water coming on to his property. We tried to find the leak ourselves by turning off landscaping water and digging several large holes. I called Welborn plumbing in Modesto who told me that the leak was most likely coming from under our house, in a fresh water line, and it could be quite a distance away from where we found water. He told me the best thing I could do was to call this company, have them find the leak, then call him back. Otherwise I could pay him to keep digging and who knows when he would find it. The fee to find it was $295 (approximately) and I thought that was so expensive I decided to order a stethoscope to try to find it myself. Failed waste of money on the stethoscope.

When I finally called them they got out to my house right away. They found the leak really fast, in about ten minutes. They tracked were the pipes were coming into my house and the path they took. They left painters tape to mark it for the repair person. When they explained to me how to repair it, I decided I really wanted someone experienced in this type of repair rather than a regular plumber. They had availability to fix it the next day and I did not want to delay. Water really damages things. Plus my neighbors yard still had water.

The service was amazing. The person who came out and did my repair was amazing. It turned out the leak was under my stairs by about a foot, maybe a little more. When the repair guy was fixing it, he could not actually see it. He laid down on my floor and reached his hands in as far as he could and did it based on feel. His skill level was incredible. In addition, my insurance company came to evaluate my floor and said he had not seen a repaired hole so small and clean and well done. The hole size is about the diameter of a home depot bucket. He wanted to know the name so they would make sure to refer them in the future. I forget the name of the repair person.

They were very prompt and very fair. I had received another quote from company (lets call them rr) they wanted to charge me 10 times what American Leak Detection Charged me. The whole job took 20 minutes. Tony Roulton was the technician and he was just awesome, Pleasant and courteous. Would recommend them to anyone who needed pluming needs.
