Not to be trusted. Paid them to find my leaks. There were more than one leak, and one I could actually see. We told them this, and asked if they would find ALL leaks when they came out and did the leak detection test. They said yes, came out, and then found the one visible leak and no others. I fixed the one visible leak with the company who had initially seen the visible leak, and of course the other more serious leak was still leaking. Called American Leak and they said they'd have to charge to come out again and do another leak detection test! They didn't stand by their word, instead pointing to the fine print which said they will only locate one leak, etc etc. Totally different than what we were told. And, if they do find your leak, their estimates are super high. Get you in the door with a low leak detection price, and then hammer you with a high quote. Be careful with this company!

30 years ago our main water line was installed and has taken the opportunity to leak a couple times. I fixed it the first two times but this time it was beyond what I'm prepared to do. Also, I feared that the leak was under the garage floor. Joey came out to tell me my nightmare was true.

Joey and his team came out, cut through the concrete and dug down to fix the leaked. So far so good, right! Only to discover an another leak farther down the line.

Joey was flexible and adapted when we had to completely replace the entire line to the side of the house. No one wants to spend money in this way, but if you must, it should be with a firm like this and workers like Joey. We trust him and will recommend them to take care of business.

I have been dealing with a plumbing issue, out of 5 companies, this Compnay, I'm particularly Juan has been nothing short of AMAZING, honest and reliable. I truly have to say, if your having an issue or considering a company, look no further. They are honest, fair and truly have the homeowners best Interest at heart.

DONT TRUST TO FIX POOL CRACKS OR YOU WILL BE PAYING AGAIN FOR IT TO BE REPAIRED BY ANOTHER COMPANY. Had a crack in the pool causing water to leak into the ground. They came, tested and determined this was the reason for the leak. To put a black liquid in front of the crack and seeing it went into the crack costs $350. Spent over $4,000 to repair it which entailed just applying a syringe of glue basically, sand it down and repainted the area to a different color than the pool is. Surprise surprise.. pool man showed me that the crack is back and open and probably why my water bill has skyrocketed. Called American Leak Detection who was quick to point out they have a 30 day warranty. I guess they dont trust their own work beyond 30 days.. that's a sign right there.. they wanted another $350 to come in TWO WEEKS to put more black die in pool and watch it go into same crack they ""fixed"" 10 months ago. Then it would cost me another $4000+ to repair again. Why ? it's really too bad.. technicians were great but company not so much. Avoid or you'll be paying someone else to repair same again correctly.

I was told that I had a leak in my water lines from the water district'. I could not find the leak so I called American Leak Detectors. Their tech came out and identified the leak in my garage. I hired a contractor to fix the leak and after days of digging and breaking up concrete he could not find the leak. we finally tracked the water line from the meter and found the leak in the front yard where the tech never looked. They said they were sorry but all they can do is relocate for the leak. it cost thousands for their mistake and they don't even care. BEWARE this is not a reliable company. Get a second opinion.

Well fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on me again. Can't believe I went with this company after already leaving a bad review with them for taking over two days to deliver the leak report they charged $275 for. Do not use this company. Their leak detection is substandard and incomplete and they will withhold your report for as long as possible to try to stop you from getting other bids. I trusted that their repair detection was accurate and allowed them to do a repair on my house however my pipes are still leaking and apparently they found another leak and want to do another repair. No, there is no other repair needed. The pipe that's still leaking is the one that needed repairing in the first place. I got another leak detection report by a confident leak detector who refuted their initial findings and the work they've done so far. Stay away. I heard this company used to have a good reputation but they got bought out or something and the new owners are trash. Trash, trash, trash. Get your leak detection/repairs done by another company and don't believe whatever BS reply the company comes up with to this Yelp review. There is a huge disconnect with their field technicians and the people in the office. Whoever is in the office has no idea what's really going on on people's property and they will try to send you wildly inaccurate and inflated invoices for unnecessary repairs. Avoid like the plague.

Our pool developed a leak, something no pool owner ever wants, but because of shoddy construction of pump/supply piping. We called them and they came out a couple weeks later with detection equipment and found the suspected area of the leak.
Joey and his helper came out a while later and got to work. They worked diligently and upon finding the leak, repaired it, checked it, and now we're good to go.
I'm making this write up because of Joey and his helper. He is the most conscientious, courteous, hard-working, gentleman we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His helper complimented their teamwork by being equally friendly and conscientious, and they both deserve a raise in their salaries. I hope American Leak sees this and takes positive action to reward these hardworking folks accordingly.

Before you call American Leak Detection, go to the curb and see if your meter is running. That is exactly what occurred to receive a $275 bill. I insisted that they at least check my irrigation while running at the meter. I thought the $275 would at least cover that. Then, I thought I had better have the pool inspected. The fee of under $400 over the phone estimate jumped to $2,200!! Beware

An employee came by and couldn't say where the leak was but they could give me an estimate for 2800.00 to fix one line. So the house still has kitek in it and it starts at the street. So go figure the price at at strange estimate.
