They arrived on time, were friendly, very professional and dove straight into it. Not a wasted minute. They are thorough and tireless and the best hands you could be in if you have a leak problem. Honey STOP THE CAR!! ONLY use THIS company for ANY PLUMBING issues! rates/fees are great! Greg and his team are AMAZING! I know nothing about plumbing so when I called the office ...WOW the woman (sorry didn't get her name) was so understanding, patient, and knowledgeable when I explained my plight! I had a stripped water shutoff valve to my house, and needed info on where my pipes were going into my garage area (getting ready for an ADU conversion), and also asked to check the water pressure and if any leaks were present in my home. All items were taken care of with perfection! Also fixed a small leak in an outdoor faucet without fee! This company is an honest and super knowledgeable crew! Greg explained everything clearly and professionally. Clean and down to the point getting the job done proficiently and correctly! Thank you ALD (Santa Barbara and Ventura County) you made my year!! BZ! A Veteran owned company that is a true Gem!

What a great experience! Not the fact that I needed them, but the fact that everyone with this company is straight up A+. This morning I discovered that a major irrigation pipe on our property busted and was gushing about 15 GPM! Who knows how long this was going on. It was necessary to cut the water main at the street.

Anyway, later in the day, I came upon a crew working on Linden Ave. who were doing work similar to what I needed. Andrew spoke with me and was very understanding and kind. When I got home I called their office....by this time it was after 4! Rachel was so helpful!!! I told her that the only thing worse than a grandma (me) without water is a teenager (my granddaughter) without water.....I could tell that she felt my pain! But it was late in the day and there were no guarantees.

She called me back, almost right away, to say that Lance would be right over. He was here about 3 minutes later. Very polite and professional! He walked the property to assess the situation. Then got to work fixing the problem. He was done in less than an hour!

I am more than impressed with this company! They did a spectacular job and created one very pleased customer!

Are you serious about charging me for the retrieval of your camera, when your technician rip it out of my wall. You guys are a joke. Like I said the worst experience ever dealing with a contractor. People I warn you to stay away from this company and highly suggest you use someone else!!!

Had Craig come out this last week and check under my sink for a long term moldy smell issue. His base price was $275 to check it out.

After he arrived it took him 5 minutes to locate the problem. It was a simple gap in the sink to countertop that allowed water to drip into the cabinet under the sink area over the years and the leak was never bad enough to notice where the water entered the cabinet.

Since it took him less than 30 minutes to determine the cause of the problem, he was kind enough to knock off $95 off his price. More than fair!

I would highly recommend American Leak Detection. They fit us in to their schedule quickly, showed up on time, and systematically found the leak. They pinpointed the leak to within a couple of inches.

Hopefully I will never have another leak, but if I do, I will definitely call these folks. They were supportive, very professional, and offered a fair price.

I'd give more stars if could! Nobody could find the leak inside my rental house. My insurance company sent Greg with ALD-Ventura. He quickly and accurately found the leak. I felt he cared about my problem. He took time to listen and help me think through repair possibilities.

Then at 10:30 pm, on a Sat. night, a leak began from my upstairs into my finished garage. I remembered Greg's EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and EXPERTISE. I immediately called ALD, leaving a message. First thing Sunday morning Greg called me. Being the ethical businessman he is, in spite of my begging, he informed me he couldn't provide service due to my location being out of his service area, That didn't stop him from providing service. Once again, right over the phone, he helped me! Honest, caring, professional, helpful and service oriented are a ""few"" adjectives I'd use to describe Greg of ALD-Ventura. As a person who rarely does reviews, I couldn't recommend him more highly.

This company is extremely ethical. I was very impressed how they handled a leak I had in my infinity pool. They went out of their way to find the impossible. Andy, the owner came out himself and yes they found the leak which was quite deep in the ground!
He was very reasonable and very professional so I'm writing a review because we are forever grateful!..

If you have a leak anywhere.. either inside your home or outside American Leak Detectors will find it quickly and handle it efficiently!
