This company was recommended by the plumber who lives across the street. They came out right away found a leak marked it with tape and never came back. They do not respond to my emails or my phone calls. So they collect $350 to detect the leak and then never heard from again.

I am updating my review due to the sincere phone call I received. They were very concerned about the experience I had and what they could do to correct it. It was a very pleasant phone call.

I had to have the location of a leak detected and repaired. I had a plumber out who could not find the leak although there was water damage showing. I then called out American Leak Detection...Don was the technician that came out. I can't say enough good things about this company and Don. From start to finish, they were professional, timely and very knowledgeable. This leak was a sneaky one to find, but Don is a master at his craft. He explained things as he went along, and was amazing at the repair. I so appreciate his diligence at getting to the bottom of our leak. He's also just a great human being! Thanks Don!

Hired them because I have a leak in my pool/spa.
They charge 450 for the initial visit and donot check everything thoroughly. They said as long as the technician finds 1 leak per visit, its okay, they donot have to find all the leaks in your pool. Then they will keep on scheduling you for multiple visits and charge you per hour for every visit and find only 1 leak per visit. Their appointments are 3-4 weeks apart due to technician shortage. And it will cost you hundreds if not thousands and may be upto 6 months to 1 year to find all the leaks. Not to mention the high water bills you will pay. Their technician KEN was impolite, rude, unprofessional and did guess work. He drained the spa and then checked for leaks!! They charged me for pressure testing but did not check everything since he had to use the restroom and did not want to come back. And he constantly whines that he has to drive out from the desert to the San Bernardino area. Also, he left some valve in the wrong position so my spa started draining into the pool and I had to get someone else to fix it. He also recommended that I should just get that valve changed -the one he did not want to test- faulty or not. Their answering service never returns phone calls. I could keep on going but... Hiring this company was such a waste of time and money.

I had a slab leak and needed to replace a water heater, Don and Jesus showed up to do the job and what a wonderful job they did. They were honest, knowledgeable, diligent and hard-working. Also thanks to Mr.Charb and Mrs. Veronica for all your help in working with me. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone; ask for Don and Jesus if you can. Thanks once again to everyone.

I don't normally leave reviews but this company really deserves it. They were on time, polite and most of all they didn't drag it out so as to charge me more. I've got a big property with a house built in 1939. In less than an hour he walked the property, found the main and marked it off, pressurized the system, located the leak and cleaned up all his stuff. He easily could have made this into a 2 or even 3 hr job. The leak was just outside my fence on the side of my driveway. I hadn't even thought to look there. Very professional. Really wish I hadn't wasted 2 days digging up my front yard and stressing about how to find the leak.

Honest reliable and fast! Very pleased!!! I will not use anyone else and here is why: I had purchased a home in Fontana 6 months ago and noticed my hot water heater has been leaking all over my garage... American Leak Detection came out and noticed my hot water heater was still under warranty and they went through all the trouble to take it down for me and go exchange it with the manufacturer for me... saving me all the time, trouble and effort... you gotta' ask youself... ""Who does that nowadays?"" I think they are amazing... Cody did a fantastic job... trust me it is hard to find a company like this... they called and let me know they were on their way I mean they were straight on point... there are lots of companies but this one actually took the initiative to go the extra mile without having me to ask... they voluntarily helped me... I had no idea the hot water heater was still under warranty they are the ones that let me know that... another company wanted to charge me $2,100 to replace it... American Leak Detection did everything for about $450 bucks and I got a brand new water heater... they saved me $1,650... I don't know about you, but that goes a long way in my book!
