Came out for insurance reasons, hired by our company. They turned off our water without telling us. They were extremely rude when asked questions. They left a dirty syringe with a sharp tip on it in our bathroom when we have two little children. They also left our shower head clogged with Teflon tape and we couldn't take a shower. They had to return to fix it. Our shower controls are also loose now and they claim have nothing to do with it and are blaming it on a coincidence. Owner was supposed to reach out. Still waiting... If I could leave no stars, I would.

WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND AND WILL USE AGAIN!!

All I can say is OUTSTANDING service!!

This company was absolutely AMAZING in diagnosing our plumbing issue. Our technicians name was Brian Schneider and he was OUTSTANDING! Wonderful customer service, extremely respectful and prompt in diagnosing the issues we had. We had one other company come out prior to Brian and they were through our home warranty plan and my gosh that other company was a JOKE! Brian showed up ready to work even though it was so late in the day, he worked so hard the entire time and found multiple problems that the other company missed completely!!!! If we could give them ten stars thanks to Brian we absolutely would!! Thank you so much!!

We will absolutely be recommending this company and using them in the future if another problem persists!

This is a review for the group is based in Gilbert, AZ and the national company based in Las Vegas.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would like to give this company zero stars. It has been a month of agony trying to get a pool leak repaired. American Leak Detection said it would take one day. In the meantime, our pool and backyard have been unusable. A technician came one day, sat down on a patio chair and slept all morning while another person dug holes in our pool deck and yard. They don't have basic supplies like saw horses, grout, glue, concrete or a cleaning bucket. They used our patio furniture to drape warning tape around the pits. They are always running to Home Depot...or so they claim. Sometimes they don't come back.

When the technician showed up again weeks later, he used our pool to clean his tools and sponges. The bottom of our pool has chunks of grout, tile and concrete rocks the size of grapefruit. He said he would come back early the next morning to clean it. He didn't. Our pool maintenance team has been here several times to backwash and clean it. The pool is still cloudy.

During the entire process, we were not able to fill our pool so now exposed plaster, especially on the steps and sides has dried out and chipped off. The company already sent us a bill ($3750), but the pool deck has not been patched. There are still water leaks, and the auto fill unit that they installed does not work. Our pool has mysterious little geysers of air bubbling into the pool. We have cancelled parties and family events in our backyard because of the useless pool and dangerous holes. We wait at home for calls or appointments that never occur. We are exhausted.

BTW, this is not really a local company but a big corporation in Las Vegas. Local plumbers seem to have arrangements (Doing Business As) with the corporation. The corporation sent representatives from the DBA in Gilbert, which is the worst. No one answers the phone. The voice mail is always full. The technician they sent seemed like he didn't want to be there and never called to come back to complete the job. He blames the corporation for over-scheduling. When we called the corporate office, they were certainly more interested in scheduling new jobs than finishing old ones. (They're pretty clueless, too, and have no idea what their technicians are really doing. No matter how bad the technicians are, the company defends them.)

We will probably have to hire an attorney plus another leak detection group, as well as have our pool re-plastered. Pretty disgusting.

NOTE: If you have had problems with this company, you can find them on the AZ Registrar of Contractors. (Under Stolworthy Inc. DBA as American Leak Detection- in Sahuarita, not Gilbert, as stated in their ads and business cards.) Write the AZ ROC and let them know what is going. We are investigation whether they are operating legitimately in AZ with an appropriate license which is very limited in scope.

Do not use this company. They came out and tested my pool and found nothing. They said it was my irrigation. I spend hundreds of dollars on replacing all of my irrigation and it was not that. They came out again and found part of the problem is the refill value was bad and overflowing under my cool deck. I spent $365 with them and am not any closed to figuring out where my leak is. I suggest grabbing a shovel and digging first. It will save you a ton of money and BS.

My pool was losing 1/4"" per day and I suspected it was leaking from my skimmer's. The skimmers checked out OK, and technician was fairly certain there was no leak in the pressure lines without using any special equipment. They found leaks in the pop-up and drain of the spa using a dye-test. It was not a full inspection but still cost $240. The repair work cost an additional $580 which required sealing around the spa floor pop-up and drain and re-pebble-teking the area. The repair was very well done and my pool is no longer losing water. So all-in-all, maybe a little pricey, but the leak was found, repaired quickly, and looks good. No complaints.

I had the opportunity to watch all that was done to find a leak in the driveway as it was sinking. In order to ensure that all areas were checked they used electronic equipment all over the house and found no sounds of leaking water, tubs,, sinks toilet and yard water lines were checked. There were no leaks in our house and none found on the property. Yet our drive way was sunk. It was suggested that we look to our neighbors - THAT was the cause. Our neighbor had long running leak in the back yard, years I guess, it caused the ground to become saturated and our driveway sunk.
fixed now. We were happy for the thorough job and common sense.
Very courteous and clean.

I hired these folks to find and repair a leak in my pool. The leak is fixed, but they totally destroyed my pool surface and plumbing. On their second try, they emptied the pool and left it dry over a hot day, so the surface is now peeling and destroyed. They over-pressurized the pipes in search of leaks, and caused new ones. They told me I needed a new skimmer, which they replaced with the most shoddy workmanship I've ever seen. I won't call them back to fix any of their work - I don't want them anywhere near my pool.

This company came to our home for look for leaks in our pool. They got 2 out of 3 correct--well, sorta. They were about a foot off. We paid them with a check, they cashed it (over charging us along the way), and have followed up with letters asking for payment. Someone in Nevada doesn't know what someone in Arizona is doing. This is not the company to use for pool leaks...try someone else. Bad service, combined with a faulty billing make them a bad choice

Absolutely terrible. $450 to detect a pool leak. Spent 20 minutes at my house and marked a spot. I waited 6 weeks for them to send the report so I could give it to the repair company. No leak within 4 foot radius. Company said 5 foot radius needed and no warranty since it had been more than 30 days. They waited to send me the report till after the warranty expired just in case it was wrong. Negative 5 stars would still be too nice.
