We had a leak in the water line going into the house. We were out of state and our neighbor gave us the reco for ALD. They were very courteous and helpful-coming out ASAP and worked with our neighbor to locate the leak so a plumber could come out. The plumber had some difficulty since the pipe was located very deeply in the ground. He called ALD and they came out again ( no charge!) to assist the plumber.
This is a great company with very good people. I would highly recommend them.

We had the main water line leak and were without water to our home. I Need A Plumber Now (Also a 5 star company) came out right away and after some digging decided it would be cheaper to have a leak locator instead of paying them by the hour to keep digging. Water travels in mysterious ways underground. Brandon arrive just a few hours after I called, located the leak to within 6"", and viola! Less than 24 hours later we were back in business. I strongly recommend you contact American Leak Detection any time you have a pending underground disaster!

We had a leak from our heating system in a wall. Curtis called and walked me through how to search for the leak on my own before our scheduled appointment the next day. He did such a good job helping me, I ended up cancelling my appointment. He still called back to say that he was glad he could help. Amazingly friendly and responsive service.

We had been notified by the water district of high usage. Went over entire property, checking faucets and checked the toilets. Could not find the leak. Called American Leak Detection because I had used them before in California and was satisfied. They had to come out 2 times because we had several main water lines to check. I was not sure of where they kept checking because we had not done any construction in that area or dug up any trees or plants, etc. They said it was in the garage under the concrete.

Well after getting a concrete company to cut a 4'x4' area and dig 3' down we found the leak exactly where they said it would be. Thank goodness. That pipe had been installed 40 years ago and apparently had been nicked when installed and just now failed. I would have bet anything that would been the last place to find the leak!

They made a very stressful situation of having a leak in our main water line as easy as possible. They were able to get us an appointment very quickly, even though we are located very far away. Their employee David who came to our home was very professional and kind and took his time to explain everything to me, which was very appreciated as we are new homeowners. It was definitely worth using a leak detection company as we found out our water line is about 4 feet down, so digging the entire line up would have been a challenge. Worth the money for sure, will be sure to use them again if need and strongly recommend them if you need this service.
