So the technician (Colton) showed up right on time. Went right to work. He let me fallow him around explaining everything he was doing. He was very professional and friendly.
Within 40 minutes he marked a spot. I dug 4' found the leak right were he said. I would recommend Colton and American leak Detection of Utah for sure...

Do yourself a favor and call someone else unless you want to be held financially accountable for their technician's mistakes. They came to detect a leak and marked an area to which we proceeded to dig, and dig, and dig...8 feet later there wasn't even any line in site. Came back and marked another area to which ""they think the leak is in"" but wasn't even in the same vicinity-clear across the yard. After paying them and thousands of dollars in machine rentals, they couldn't find any way to take accountability for their mistakes. Such a waste of time and money.

Best Leak detector ever! They diagnose the problem to get me a quote, and the price was as quoted. They were early to the appointment, which was very much appreciated, and they were very fast and efficient. Being able to stop the leaking before it made lots of damage was incredible and what a relief. The technician was very polite and professional plus the cost was great. I would definitely call them again. 5 stars!!

Riverton City gave me a letter letting me know my water usage tripled. I called my plumber and he came out and said the leak was on my main line outside but he wasn't able to find that sort of leak. So my plumber referred me to American Leak Detection to find the leak. I was able to get on their schedule the next day. They arrived on time and they were very understanding with me since I don't know much about plumbing. They found the leak in my grass and marked it for my plumber. I was very impressed and I was glad I didn't have to dig up my entire yard!!! I highly recommend them.

I called these guys on a Monday for a leak we had outside. They came out 3 days later and after about an hour of work they figured out the location. Overall it was a good experience.

I was very disappointed with this company. We had a main water line break which we could only hear and not see so it was required for us to hire this company to detect the leak, apparently they are the only company in UT that detect leaks. We paid them $335 for them to come out and they said they detected the leak under my front porch and placed a big blue X in the spot they said it was. I hired a plumbing company to come and fix the leak, it required 2 plumbers , renting a jack hammer and paying them to destroy almost my whole front porch for the plumbers to not find water or a pipe! I called American Leak Detection and told them they needed to come back out because they didn't find the leak, the guy came back out but was very rude. He did his test and was like ""oh it's in your lawn next to your porch""! I was upset because not only was my porch destroyed I had to pay the 2 plumbers by the hour for a whole day, which didn't need to happen in the first place and didn't make me any closer to fixing my leak. I contacted American Leak Detection and it took almost the whole day for the owner to call me back, he then told me the only thing he could do was refund my $335 I paid them to come out. I asked him about the giant hole in my front porch, the lost time and the time I had to pay the plumbers and he said he was not responsible for that, that there's nothing more he could do for me. I had to pay the plumbers to fix their mistake! Please be aware of this so that this won't happen to you, usually companies want to make their customers happy so they don't end up with upset customers but this company doesn't care about making their customers happy. I will not send anyone I know to this company ever!!! Please save yourself the headache!
