Did a thorough leak detection service and proposed a repair excluding tile repair on pool deck. They Required a signed contract before the scheduled repair. Repair technician arrived and refused to do the repair because it was in the spa wall. Other local repair companies did not even return my calls. Busy times!! Luckily I was referred to a local co., Red Rhino who came out immediately and had the repair done within a week, including the tile repair. Now my 90 day leak guarantee is no longer valid because American Leak Detection did not do the repair. We wasted our money with them but happily Red Rhino rescued us.

Very unhappy with American Leak Detection in Jupiter. They marked out the wrong location after breaking up the tiles and cement in my hallway. Had the Plumber open up the floor on another location to fix the leak. Plumber charged me another $800. American leak didn't care to hear me saying they marked out the wrong location. I would NEVER use them again.

I recently bought an old 1924 house in WPB and noted that the first water bill seemed awfully high in comparison to my last house. Went to look at the water meter and the small leak detection dial was moving slowly around so I knew I had a leak. My first call was to a very well known plumbing company in this area (starts with a B) who sent a total idiot out --- the guy checked everything and since he could not find the leak, he wanted to install various valves along the water line to discern the location of the leak --- at a cost of $180 a valve and $125 for each hour of his time --- and he warned me that finding a difficult leak could cost upwards of $2500. I kicked him off my property since that makes no sense. I then poked around looking for a leak detection company and found American Leak Detection and saw the other Yelp review which was a rave. They came out within a few hours and very quickly found the leak --- a spigot at the rear of the cottage did not turn off completely and was leaking at the point where the hose was attached. They capped the spigot and no more leak. I will need to change out the spigot but it's a minor repair. They do charge a flat fee of $450 to come out and detect leaks but they have high tech equipment and know what they're doing so it's well worth it. Big thumbs up!

Excellent Service! Quick, professional and accurate. They helped me four months ago with a pool leak and this week with a busted pipe in the foundation. In both cases, the response time was fast and the problem was identified quickly and accurately. Further their repair recommendations proved to be spot on in both cases. Had a loss of water in our pool was looking for the right company to find and fix the problem. Looked at there reviews which were very good . I called spoke with the girl on the phone got a approximate price and she dispatched right away. The technician showed up promptly got in water found the leak . He was very professional. I was charged exactly as told . Could not be more satisfied! Thank you one and all!

I woke up to my pool dropping almost a foot of water overnight! I asked my neighbors who to call and so I called American Leak Detection. They sent someone out within hours. It's 1:15 pm and the problem was detected and repaired with amazing customer service! I was lucky it was an easy fix, but I am so happy with how they handled the situation from my phone call to saying goodbye to their service rep. Highly recommend!

Major leak in the guest house I live in. I called American Home Shield as owner has a policy with them. I paid the $75 copay and the plumber they sent said it was the water heater. It was not. He then changed his mind and said it was the shower pan and I needed it to be ripped out by a General Contractor. I went to Home Advisor and elected Avanti Builders. After several changes in the appt, he came out and did his inspection. He said he would get back to me with his demo proposal. He never did. I waited four days. Meanwhile, I am mopping, wringing out towels and having to lift my bed up on tiles to keep it out of water. So, I got smart and called AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION OF PALM BEACH. I DID NOT WANT TO PAY THE FEE OF $450, but it was worth it. Dan came on time ( ASAP) and with his sophisticated equipment determined the water flow under marble tile was coming from the kitchen. After further work, he found that the copper water supply line was crimped and leaking. ( I had pulled the fridge out about two weeks earlier to clean behind it and I must have crimped the soft copper tubing when I pushed fridge back in place.) NEVER cleaning dust bunnies again. So, now I am in contract with Servpro to remove the water and dehumidify so that all the moisture in the drywall does not give me a mold problem. $$$ Moral of this sad tale: Don't clean behind fridge, and hire only the best. You Do get what you pay for. Highly recommend America Leak Detection and Servepro. Happy Homeowning!

firstly, having never needed leak detection i was very impressed with the office, Jen, explained the process very clearly and answered all my questions and i was comfortable with using them Tom came and did the inspection explaining everything he did and also answered my questions. He really knows his stuff and made me comfortable that i would get a thorough inspection. I would recommend this company 100%

From the first phone call to the last, this company was one of the most courteous and professional companies I have ever done business with...and I manage a service company. I called on Monday to schedule an appointment to investigate a leak in my swimming pool. I was guided on what I needed to do to ensure the pool was ready for their visit. Pricing was also discussed with me. The appointment was set for the next Thursday. Today ( Wednesday ) I received an email confirmation with the ETA along with details on the technician they would be sending. His picture including the date of his last background check was included( I was impressed). A few hours later I received a call stating they had an opening and would I like them to come."""" Well, sure, that's awesome"""". Shortly thereafter, the technician called saying he was on his way...I informed him I would not be home so...have at it! A few hours later, the technician called again. He pressurized the system and inspected the interior of the pool. Ultimately, he located the water leak which was coming from the light fixture and it was repaired on the spot. So glad it wasn't a more difficult repair ( which would not have been done without them contacting me first and supplying me with a quote for the repairs, which was fully discussed prior, as well). Their prices certainly seemed fair! 60 day warranty if water leakage were to continue. This company definitely deserved me taking the time to post a positive review. I most certainly recommend them!

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They came to detect and fix a leak in my pool, 13 months later it was leaking again. Same rude service tech came and said nothing was wrong. I was charged another $400 and told their warranty is 1 year, so I missed it by a month. Two days later, I called again, he came out and found a leak and said whoever fixed it last time didn't know what they were doing. I reminded him that HE was the one that fixed it last time. He didn't say a word after that. Guess what, 6 months later, its leaking again. This time told there is no warranty on their repairs and wanted to charge me again. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ROBBERS!
