We had a leak in our pool and we didn't know who to call. We were referred to American Leak Detection. I selected ""Request a Quote"" on Yelp and I was contacted immediately. We were able to get an appointment right away. Paul Upton was our technician and he was awesome. He found a crack in one of the steps in our pool. He gave me his cell phone number so I could let him how much water we were losing on a daily basis so he could determine how bad the leak was. This was over and above what he needed to do. I really appreciate Paul's knowledge and great customer service!!

A huge thank you to Paul. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. Quickly went to work diagnosing the mysterious dripping sound I was hearing in my bathroom. He was very knowledgeable about plumbing and clearly is skilled at what he does. The technology they have available for visually detecting leaks is quite amazing. No holes in my walls, and mystery quickly solved. I would recommend you call these guys first if you think you have a water leak!

Our leak: We called a large ""regional"" plumber, and they referred us to American Leak Detection. We called, and fortunately someone was in our town and would arrive in about 2 hours. Ivan arrived. He was very thorough in checking everything - even though it seemed the problem was a major hot water line under our slab. And that's where he pinpointed the problem using very interesting technology besides sound detection. Problem was the leak was under an engineered wood floor - not realistically repairable. Ivan recommended a reroute and thoroughly explained it. We agreed. On the day Ivan and Zack did the reroute without making more than one visible hole in the house interior. They even used the space behind a medicine cabinet as a ""hole"". Amazing. We are very grateful that so little damage was done.

New hot water heater: Ivan did the replacement. The requirements to get to present code were complex, but we are updated now with a 12 year warranty. The space is very clean and neat. Ivan explained the details on how to adjust temperature. He also neatly removed a water softener we no longer needed. A truly amazing thing is that when he replaced the door to the compartment (an exterior door), he fixed it so that it actually worked perfectly - which it never had even when it was new. We highly recommend ADL. Ivan and Zack were awesome.

I have had thousands of gallons a month going somewhere per my water bill and tried to figure this out for months. Neil showed up on time with a phone call to say he was on his way. He was really easy to talk with, explained things so I could understand and learn and really nice. He performed several tests to narrow this down since it could be the pool or it could be something else. He currently has us doing a few things and calling back to nail this down finally. I would highly recommend Neil to anyone with leak issues...=)
