I recently noticed a wet spot on our kitchen ceiling. I called and made an appointment for the following day. Abel Lemus arrived at quickly found out leak. Abel also told me we had a slab leak. Bad news. Abel quickly fixed the kitchen leak. We decided to go ahead and repipe the house to prevent any further leaks.
Abel took only 2 days to finish the job. I can tell you that have used Abel on several occassions and he always does a great job.

We had some big puddles on the side of our home and thought we needed to cut back our irrigation. The next day, the downstairs bedroom carpet was a little squishy in spots. Insurance referred us to American Leak Detection. They sent out technician Abel Lemus, who came out Friday evening. He took his time to locate the cold water slab leak in our home, and came back early the next morning (on his normal day off) to repair it. He worked very neatly and was very professional. Not that I would want anyone else to go through this at their home, but if they did, I'd recommend Abel!

Danny is great! He is friendly, thorough, and patient. I recommend ALD if you have a leak, but you're not sure where it's coming from. They write thorough reports as well.

I had a large leak under the concrete in my pool yard which was difficult to pinpoint due to its size. Initially, a pool tech (James) ruled-out a leak in the pool plumbing and referred me to the irrigation division. Mason diligently worked to find the leak, eventually giving me options for further detection attempts. His supervisor, Glenn, joined in the fun and they were able to locate the leak and repair it. From my first contact with the company (Thomas) to the techs and supervisor, I have be impressed with their friendly and prompt customer service. Each tech gave me their card and encouraged me to contact them with any questions. I don't understand the previous poor ratings. I will recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

Flash forward to having the floor ripped up and am streaming leak in a copper pipe - not a pinhole. DO NOT RECOMMEND - use a plumber.

American Leak Detection of Orange County replaced our pool skimmer and tiled our pool. After about 4 weeks they completed the work. They charged my card $5,000 for their services before the job was complete. Before completing the work they disappeared for two weeks not answering calls or emails.

The bottom of our pool has grout marks from their tile work. They came out to clean up most of it.

Our technician, Nate, was great! He called to let me know what time he would be at our house, and he confirmed our appt. the next morning. We needed a leak detection company because we had unexplained wet carpet spots in our guest bedroom and didn't know that source of the problem. Nate promptly got to work and figured out the problem. I feel that he went above and beyond. I would use this company again and would definitely ask for Nate.
