This is the 3rd time I have used American Leak Detection. Every time I use them, they find the leak within inches of where they said it was. The technician Manuel arrived on time and was so friendly. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience again. Don't waste your money hiring a plumber to come out and find the leak, use American Leak Detection they are the pros and you don't have to worry if you are being taken advantage of or the plumber saying ""I thought is was over here, apparently not, let's dig over here where I think it might be""....

Manuel found, and fixed, our leak and was extremely conscientious in doing so. Very nice man who has worked with Company going on 20 years. Rarely, if ever have we been fortunate to have had an employee such as Manuel help us!

More over, after Manuel left and we turned the was back on, we heard water running somewhere. The Company was able to get in touch with Manuel and he came back and fixed an entirely different problem.

You're never going to find a better customer oriented Company than American Leak Detection

We called American Leak Detection out to find a pool or spa leak and they were unable to find it. Charged us $360 and claimed we did not have a leak despite salt water runoff into our drains. They came out 2 more times and still could not find the leak. We called another leak detection company out and they found our leak within 45 mins. Now I am trying to get a refund from American Leak and they are giving me a hard time. I WOULD NOT USE AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION again!

After noticing a small leak on my carpet I called a leak detection company and they insisted that my leak was from my sewer pipe under the concrete slab. They were going to jackhammer my slab to get to the alleged leak. They quoted me $4,000.00 to do the repair! Thankfully I called American Leak Detection. Manuel came out to my home and found that my leak was from my shower valve and not from the sewer pipe in the slab. The men wore masks and boot covers. My leak was detected and repaired at a total cost of only $425.00! They did a great job of clean up! I have been in property management for over 40 years so it takes a lot to impress me. I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them! 5 STARS!!

These guys were great. They were recommended to me by the pool company that installed all my new filter equipment. He indicated ALD was the company he always used. The first technician came and after a hour of searching, he detected the exact spot where the pool line was leaking under the cement deck. I called later that day and scheduled the repair for 2 weeks later. This morning Mike and his associate showed up promptly on time and worked for 4 hours digging up the pool slab, replacing a broken elbow and refilling the hole. Once completed, they filled in the hole with fresh new concrete and the repair looks awesome, only barely noticeable. Would I rather have the leak? Heck no! I don't care if it doesn't match perfectly to the 40 year old decking around the pool. It is really close anyway! These guys were respectful of my personal property around the pool and swept and cleaned up the entire area before they left. I am extremely happy with the work they did.

Save your money and look for someone else beside this company. My pool contractor hired this company to find a leak in my pool, the first trip the technician spent few hours with no results then he said he has to come back with different equipment to try to locate the leak and it's going to be more of a charge , my contractor agreed so the same technician came again spent few more hours with no results again.
Then he said he needs to make a third trip again with new equipment and again extra charge so for the three trips almost was ganna cost over $1200 and still not guaranteed to find the leak.
To the point I had to step in as a home owner and stop wasting money and time and contacted another leak detection company myself, a really professional technician came over spent less than two hours and found the leak and costed me less than $400.

OK, I was very apprehensive about any company finding my leak but after American Leak detection came in and did their stuff, I was very impressed.

I had been searching for this leak for months, I had replaced nearly every one of my sprinkler valves and several of my outdoor faucets. They used helium to pressurize and detect the leak in my system and it took about two hours before we saw the leak bubbling up through a patch of dirt.

All I can say is Awesome !

do NOT use these guys. Guaranteed a leak detection, said they were 100% sure the leak was in the slab of living room.

Drilled into the slab and not a drop of water. Blamed it on a cover, only to find out that cover was not there either.

Called the owner for a refund, still didn't get it. Now they won't return my call.

Now have to pay $1000 to fix my floor and slab because of their incompetence.

I called and asked for a pool leak detection. They said they would check for all leaks (pool and spa) for $380. When their guy came he spent 2 hrs looking for leaks in my spa. He then said it would cost extra to check my pool for leaks. I felt cheated and it was like a ""bait and switch"" deal they gave me on the phone. They NEVER said it would cost extra to check my pool. I shopped around prior to going with them and they fooled me with their price. Stay Away from this business. Be warned, they will charge you extra.
