Very nice individuals, but it was clear they did not have the experience to detect a leak after they were here. Had to hire a plumber to get the job done.

Had a leak from bathroom to next room floor .seemed coming from bottom of shower .we got scheduled in a couple if days as it was not an emergency .next day was offered but we could wait .the technician mr Novak came right on time .nice young man who systematically eliminated possible sources unti he found the problem from the shower valve and the shower bottom .took all the time he needed and solved the puzzle pinpointing the area that have to be fixed .money well spent .highy recommend the company .

Our insurance company sent ALD to detect the leak point in our house. A tech came on time and sent a report to our insurance company (see attached). We did the repair according to the recommendation but leak continued. I called the tech but no answer. I texted the tech but no response. I called ALD, they said they will contact the tech but nothing after that. I gave up and hired another company to detect and repaired the right spot. Don't waste your money with this company like I did.

I hired them to determine my leak in the pool. After repairing what they recommended it still leaks. Look somewhere else.

I had a leaking pipe from my pool skimmer to the pump. My technicians (Michael and David) got the job done in a day. They started at 8 am and stayed until the job was done. well past dark. Everything works great and everything looks great after they had to replace part of my concrete patio. Michael and David were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend American Leak Detection. I don't have any complaints.

Update: Our insurance company called ALD back out to scope the drains. Once again, they sent out Lukas, this time with a helper. They would not run the camera down any of the drains near the problem area. They would only go through clean-outs, even though the shower drain is just as accessible and upstream of the problem. The pipe diameters are also of similar size. They tried to run the camera to the area from a laundry room access. But, couldn't get it past the 1st bend. My wife was looking over Lukas' shoulder to see what was on the scope. He was frustrated because he couldn't get the snake through and gave up. However, he told the insurance company that he WAS able to reach the area in question and everything looked fine. As a result, they have denied our claim. The adjuster told me that a drain issue was our best chance of getting approved. Lukas' refusal to scope the area from the other side and his outright lie to the adjuster will cost us $10k+

My wife's reaction when I gave her the news says it all: What!!! I was standing RIGHT THERE. THEY HIT THE ANGLE & couldn't go past. He said with what the rest of the house looks like that he'll assume that part was ok.

If Lukas would have scoped the area and found nothing, we would have accepted that. Instead, he flat out lied. This comes after leaving a 5 star review on his first visit.

Bottom line, if you suspect you have a leak, look for someone else. Don't take your insurance company's recommendation. American Leak Detection cannot be trusted.

When our hardwood floors started to lift, our insurance company sent out American Leak Detection. Lukas was great! Called ahead, showed up on time and was quick and efficient once he got here. Thanks for the piece of mind knowing that we do not have any active leaks.

We hired American Leak to locate manifolds and trace water lines for a job we were doing. Bobby from American Leak called us prior to arrival, arrived when he was suppose to and did an excellent job locating and confirming his detection. I've had nothing but good experiences with both this location and the other one in Covina. Thank you guys!

I recently noticed a wet spot on our kitchen ceiling. I called and made an appointment for the following day. Abel Lemus arrived at quickly found out leak. Abel also told me we had a slab leak. Bad news. Abel quickly fixed the kitchen leak. We decided to go ahead and repipe the house to prevent any further leaks.
Abel took only 2 days to finish the job. I can tell you that have used Abel on several occassions and he always does a great job.

We had some big puddles on the side of our home and thought we needed to cut back our irrigation. The next day, the downstairs bedroom carpet was a little squishy in spots. Insurance referred us to American Leak Detection. They sent out technician Abel Lemus, who came out Friday evening. He took his time to locate the cold water slab leak in our home, and came back early the next morning (on his normal day off) to repair it. He worked very neatly and was very professional. Not that I would want anyone else to go through this at their home, but if they did, I'd recommend Abel!
