Just wanted to give this place my review. I was loosing water in my pool. Leslies pool manager actually referred us. I called and Daniel and Nicholas arrived on time and both were very nice. They found the problem right away. Daniel gave me a alternate plan that was an excellent idea. The work was scheduled and they did a great job. It was not so crazy expensive thank goodness. Thank you guys...and yes I would call them again.

We had a horrible experience scheduling a leak detection. They kept on changing the price on us for their services. They are extremely unethical and unprofessional. They are much better companies out there instead of these shady people.

Very Nice people but an extremely frustrating experience. There is no guarantee they will find the leak. I spent 300.00 for them to detect a leak, drove from San Diego to Burbank, plus paid for a hotel room and had no results from American Leak Detection and still had to pay the bill. They may help you or maybe not but there is no guarantee of their work.

I cannot say enough good things about American Leak Detection. The office took my call on Saturday and said someone would call me Monday to schedule. Instead, Richard called me within five minutes to discuss the pool problem and review things I should do until the technician arrived on Monday. The tech, Daniel, arrived early (how often does that happen?). He identified the problem within 30 minutes (an underground pipe had been pierced) and had the whole thing repaired within an hour. Daniel is just the best--personable, knowledgeable, professional. My heartfelt thanks for a job well done.

Tree roots had cracked my filter pipes and I was losing water badly. I was referred to American Leak Detection and set up an appointment. Daniel came out and did his best to diagnose the problem. He got very strange results and it was hard to determine the exact pipe(s) that were cracked but since I'd had a similar repair done 6 years ago and we could see evidence of the tree root damage from above, I felt confident we knew were the issue was and I contracted for the work.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel return to perform the work. I arranged to be home that day so I could see what he found. I supposed I hovered, taking pictures of teh process, asking questions as he went along. He never got annoyed and answered every question with a smile. I don't think i ever saw anyone work harder. It was obvious from that start he had a lot of experience and knew what he was doing. Digging out the area had to be done mostly by hand which he did efficiently without complaints. He found multiple pipes cracked which explained the odd results during diagnosis. The job took longer than expected because it was difficult work and he ran out of daylight but on the job until he it wasn't possible anymore that day.

Even though he was fully booked for the following day, his company rearranged his schedule so he could return the following afternoon. I returned home early from work and was able to see him complete the job. He even patched the deck with new concrete like an artisan, taking every care to make it as smooth and neat as possible.

After 30 years in this house, we have had many service people come to do work. No one has ever delivered better than Daniel. He was competent, diligent, and pleasant. The cost wasn't cheap but it was fair. I don't mind at all paying for quality service.

American Leak Detection was recommended to me by a couple of plumbers. Darlene and Rich were extremely helpful. They were able to get me a same day appointment at the last minute.

Daniel was able to find the problem after a pretty thorough testing and inspection. He didn't have to break any walls to find the leak which was great.

After getting the runaround from SoCal Gas, Daniel went above and beyond to make sure that my issues were resolved. He was on time, respectful of my home and educated me (didn't talk down to me) about what was going on and preventative measures for the future. Thought we had a leak. Daniel came out, diagnosed the real problem and proposed a much cheaper solution. He fixed it the next day, did awesome work and even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working. Can't say enough good things about Daniel. Very impressed.

Had water leaking into my kitchen and outside dog run.Company sent rep by and told my husband he didn't know where the leak was coming from.Rep did not do a thorough evaluation- never went outside to check where water was coming from.Told my husband he'd contact him with report...my husband had to call.My insurance company sends a novice adjuster to the house WITH a supervisor and my husband was informed by adjuster that AmericanLeak claimed it was our dishwasher.We hired another company and a plumber and that leak DID NOT come our dishwasher.Next time do a more thorough job,if you don't know what the problem is-just say so.The company called and asked my husband(who is definitely NOT a helper) to have me change my review....not happening.Let me say-again-that the problem was NOT the dishwasher.Anyway,we got an awesome plumber who repaired the problem without jack hammering my kitchen floor.

I had a leak in my deck skimmer on my pool that was built in 1953. The old copper basin on the original deck filter now retrofitted to be a deck skimmer had given way to chemical corrosion. The pool leaked extensively after the inspection due to removing the DE and 4 inch collection of leaves at the bottom of the basin.
I called the tech the next morning a bit alarmed. He immediately called his office and expedited a bid and work order. They were there the next working day to fix the problem and the pool was back to working condition at the end of the second day.
The office and the techs I worked with had very professional and soothing qualities. I totally felt like they had this and if anything came up they could deal with it. The job finished with no surprises or additional costs.
Seriously my pool has never looked better!
