They did not actually perform work on my home. I called to set up the appointment, and Dawn was great when I explained our problem. She said it would be $325 for the service person to come out but explained what all he would be doing to for the fee, and I felt comfortable with this, so we set up the appointment. The service person, """"Denny"""" calls prior to the appointment, and I explain the issues we are having the same as I explained to Dawn. Denny then tells me, """"Well, I don't think we are going to be able to find the source of the problem, and I am not sure what I will be able to do."""" Well, then I obviously do not feel comfortable spending the money. I call the office back and speak to Dawn to see if they would still charge me the $325 for Denny to tell me what he just told me. She says yes, they would still charge this and that would perform all the things she had previously explained (even though Denny did not say he would do any of these things). I did not feel comfortable spending $325 when Denny has already told me he will not be able to find a problem.

Very professional, fast service. I called on a weekend and got a call back later that day to set up an appt for Monday. I knew I had a slab leak (water bill of 23,000 gal use in a month) I just didn't know exactly where. Thankfully there was no water damage or sign of the leak inside or outside the house. I had an idea it was in a newly remodeled bathroom (I could hear water running sometimes when all water was off). He determined it was under the tub or wall behind the tub. I could hear the sound get louder on his equipment, as he put air in the water pipes. They just diagnose where the leak is for $325, then you find your a plumber yourself. I ended up re-plumbing my house (rather than tear out a tub, tile and jackhammer). Easterday plumbing did a great job, started quickly and was done in a few days. It wasn't as expensive or inconvenient as I thought, to find and fix the slab leak. I'd recommend American Leak Detection to find the area where you have a slab leak.

American Leak Detection was professional from beginning to end. They were prompt and thorough. The lady on the phone was friendly and polite and the technician who came to my house was fantastic. The service they provided was unfortunately unnecessary in my case, which means I wasted $325.00, however, I would recommend their services.

My wife called me at work saying she heard water running despite the fact that no faucets were open and suspected we had ANOTHER slab leak. We cut the water supply off and called the insurance company. They insisted that a leak detection needed to be performed prior to any covered repairs being done on a slab leak. American Leak Detection was notified by the insurance company and I received a call from american Leak Detection's Jacksonville, FL office to set up a convenient time. I requested """"ASAP"""" and the earliest available appointment was for 2 days away. However, the next morning I was called back by the office to tell me they had a tech in the area who could come over right then. Mr. Zentner arrived immediately thereafter and within 30 minutes, had hooked up his equipment and located the source of the leak in the hot water lines. His calculations indicated a leakage rate of 1 GPM (approx. 1,440 gallons per day) meaning I was paying for electricity to heat that water that was leaking, the cost of the water itself, and because our sewer fee is based on water usage, an additional cost there. Not to mention the damage that could be caused beneath the slab or to the interior of the home should the leak have become bad enough to find its way inside. Thank you American Leak Detection! Great job on the part of the office and the technician. We have determined, since this is the second under slab leak we have had and considering the age of the house, to have a complete re-pipe of the home done. Jim Harvey Jacksonville, FL 02/07/2013

A++++++ service provider. We called American Leak Detection on Sunday afternoon and secured an appointment for 8:30 AM the next morning. The service representative Dennis arrived on time and immediately like a well-trained """"detective"""" started to search for the source of our water leak. After careful determination, he zeroed in on the area of the leak and drilled a hole in the back of our bathroom cabinet uncovering the culprit of all our water damage. In summary, American Leak Detection is a Five-Star service provider and we would highly recommend this company for any water leak detection needs. Hilda and Robert Mauser Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
