Kenco mounted the wrong length of pipe for our bathtub spout. When I called Kenco I was hoping to hear ""Sorry about that, we realize you're in the middle of a project and our mistake is holding up progress, we'll get someone right over, and we'll cover the cost"". What I actually heard was ""What do you want us to do. We send someone over now, you pay the overtime rate."" Three days later Kenco fixes the pipe and decide to give us a break at half price ($40 for 25 minutes work comes to $96/hour). The original work cost us over $300 for two and half hours work (we may be in a recession, and live in a poor state, but you'd never know it by the price of plumbing in Albuquerque). Looking for a plumber? Keep looking, you can do much better than Kenco.

They carry hard to find square toilet seats, and the guy at the front desk was really helpful. I don't give out 5 stars often, and I won't here, but could I do 4.5?

New Mexico Plumbing and Mechanical were very professional, courteous , respectful, and took great care in providing the service without making an extremely hard job really a messy one. I had NM Plumbing & Mechanical install a new refrigerated air conditioning unit, converting from swamp cooling and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire job - from the initial quote for the job, the installation, to recommendations on how the new unit would operate more effectively, to the finished job. Extremely satisfied with the effort made to limit my inconveniences during the whole project.

I recently used this company and was very pleased with how professional and thorough they were. I had 2 other companies give me a price on fixing a leak I had in the wall were absurd. The owner at NM Plumbing and Mechanical was very reasonable priced. I would absolutely use this company again.

Quality work by professional people. We had a main line water leak under our concrete driveway. They excavated a hole, located the faulty pipe, which was co-located in the same area as the gas and phone, and did a very professional job of repair. Good folks, easy to work with and I recommend them.

Our regular plumber kind of bungled a faucet installation. Fernando came out and figured out the issue. We had to replace a pipe to the tub faucet which involved going in through the wall behind the shower. He did that, replaced the faucet so it wouldn't leak, and replaced the faucet with a new one. Put an access panel in to cover the hole in the wall. Everything works perfectly now. They did a great job and were really nice. Cleaned up well and so no mess was left at all. Highly recommend!

We had a major gas leak back in January and contacted several plumbing companies including stewards plumbing to come fix the problem. Stewards plumbing was the only company available to come out on the same day, and although we appreciate stewards plumbing coming to help so quickly to get us heat again, the work was less than ideal. Here are some of the issues:
- [ ] Appliances did not fit back in place because the piping was not well planned or appropriately joined,
- [ ] appliances were not hooked up when we were told to bring nm gas back out to turn on the gas,
- [ ] three unnecessary holes were drilled into our roof,
- [ ] drywall was removed from the furnace room without prior notification that they would not fix it,
- [ ] our garage was used as storage for them for 3 days after the work was completed because they just ""had to get to other tickets"".

Upon the first major rain in Albuquerque, we discovered that the area they drilled three times (unnecessarily!) was improperly patched. It turns out they DO NOT guarantee their roof work because they are not professional roofers, therefore they will not fix their work or pay to fix what they damaged.

The owner finally offered to pay for half of the repair, but would only go with his choice...who quoted 3x as much as our own trusted roofer.

We truly felt that professionalism was lacking and the overall quality of their work was poor.
