The best service, very considerate of your time, very professional and down to the point. they honor their word and do the job with integrity. I highly recommend these guys especially Mr. Chris G. to all of my family and friends. I mean this guy is a gentleman and a pro. if there was 10 stars plus on yelp I would even do that. prices are super fair, found the leak promised to come back during his busy day to advise on what to do next, I thought to myself here we go, he is going to be another one of those fake guys that will not show up again, boy was I ever wrong, this man came back and did what he is supposed to do and was very respectful and kind. charged me exactly what they asked for and not a penny more. you guys are awesome and I will definitely hire you for any other plumbing job no questioned asked. it is people like you Mr. Chris that keep us consumers rested assure that we won't be taking advantage of.

Melissa made sure to give me courtesy calls prior to the inspection date and rescheduled accordingly when rain was forecast. Fantastic Company ! The receptionist was so nice, and professional, she took my information and set up my appointment quickly. Jim and Nick came out right on time and had my slab leak found and explained to me the best way to fix it, in under an hour. I set up the appointment with them right there to make the repairs. Again, Jim and Nick came out right on time and had my leak fixed, pipe rerouted and they even replaced the hot and cold valve under my kitchen sink ! The leak under the sink was just something I talked to them about after I had made the appointment for the slab redo. They had all of this done in two hours ! ! ! And to top it off Jim said because it didn't take as long as he first thought he lowered the price ! LOVE THESE GUYS. They were professional, caring, and friendly. They left my place all cleaned up and even offered to put my cleaning products back under the sink for me !

Great service. They came out quickly for a leaking water main. Water was bubbling out of the ground. Jim was prompt, professional and found/ fixed the problem on the spot. No extra billing time was required. Just the service call fee.

Wow - this company was AMAZING! They were recommended by another plumber who did not have the leak detection equipment. We called at 11:00 a.m. and someone was here by noon. The leak was detected and fixed by 1:00. The receptionist was also very knowledgeable and gave ideas on how to know where the leak was. Gene, the technician, was very friendly and got the job done efficiently. They have a new customer for life (although I hope I don't need their services too often!)
It is great to find such an honest company among all the unethical and arrogant service people who have given me estimates in the past.

After noticing a water drip from the ceiling of my unfinished basement, I called a local plumber who said he had never seen anything like this. He referred me to a copper pipe repair business who without coming to my house said I should re-pipe the whole house for about $11,000, or I could repair some pipes and valves for about $1,800. Ridiculous, when that company never came to our house or knew what needed fixing. I then called American Leak Detection and Gene came out to see what was wrong. He found the source of the drip in 3 minutes. It was from a pinhole leak in one pipe. He immediately put a temporary patch on it and returned the next day to make a permanent repair and also replaced 2 gate valves which didn't operate properly. All this cost only a fraction of the amount the copper pipe repair company asked for a repair that wouldn't have even fixed the problem. Gene was courteous, a pleasure to deal with and a competent technician and plumber. It is refreshing to find a company as well run and honest as the American Leak Detection Company in Covina, which I highly recommend.

Had a slab leak after a tankless install. Called American Leak and Melissa called me back promptly. This happened on the weekend so I decided to call my home warranty first. They came out and fixed my pressure regulator. The leak stopped. They told me I had to just wait til the leak started again. A whole week past and I decided it's silly just to sit there and wait.

Called American Leak back and Melissa got Chris out to my house. He told me he wouldn't be able to find a leak because the meter wasn't running. Sign of an honest man. I think other companies would just do the detection and charge me even though they didn't find a leak. I've had a few plumbers that fixed things that didn't need to be fixed. I had a few pipes that were installed weirdly in the garage so I hired Chris to fix it.

A few days past and I asked Chris to come by to give me a quote to re-pipe the entire house. I won't go into details but Chris gave me some advice on how I should go about with my leak problem. I was so shocked how honest he was.

If you have a leak, call American Leak Detection, you won't regret it! Dealing with them will assure you that honest companies still exist!

Had a leak under the slap, they showed up, found the leak and discussed options with me. Up to this point my experience was good. He mentioned that my main shutoff valve was not working properly, even when turned off it was still allowing water into the house. So he recommend that I replace the valve immediately, That made sense since we were shutting down the main valve to minimize the water damage in the house, until we had the leak repaired. He charged $175 to change the valve but when the job was completed the valve was leaking. He said if we do the slab leak repair with them then he would fix the leaking valve that he just installed for no charge. He left the job and left the valve leaking. Needless to say I used another plumber to fix both the slab leak and the leaking valve. As for just leak detection they did a good job.
