It's NEVER fun to get a leak. But if you have one this is the place to call. This is the second time I've used ALD and, once again, they surpassed my expectations. This is a two step process. 1) Finding the leak which is hardly ever easy and 2) providing a quote to fix it.

This particular job entailed finding a leak underneath a concrete slab for the PVC pipes that run my irrigation system. Mike came out and spent well over an hour just finding the leak and quoting a price to fix it. I got other quotes to repair this and in the end I used ALD as Mike was already very familiar with it and there price was very reasonable.

Mike came back a few days later and it took pretty much all day to fix it after running into complications with roots and old pipes all jumbled together. But he got it all sorted out, tested it and patched the hole in the concrete.

As I said, getting a leak is never fun but with ALD on the job you know everything will be fine.

We called out ALD to detect a leak in our home. They requested $400 for the first two hours. They finished within half an hour and gave us the incorrection location of the leak. We tore out our walls to fix this leak only to learn out water heater was the source of the leak.

Despite this egregious mistake we were still charged the $400. Would not recommend to anyone.

Right after Xmas, I had a major leak in my main water line. Called American Leak and very quickly they had the right people on my property to find and fix the leak. John and Nick were fantastic. John found the leak in under twenty minutes and Nick fixed it perfectly. Both are smart, competent, and great guys. Very happy with their work. Highly recommend them. Thank you guys. Merry Xmas.

Had a major Leak in my pool. We're talking about a river rolling down the street. Neighbors were not happy. Called ALD and got some short term advice to stop the flow and scheduled an appointment within 4 days.

John Stephenson showed up on schedule and diagnosed the problem in less than 30 minutes. He stopped the leak and gave me a reasonable estimate to resolve a tough problem.

We had our second underground leak on our property in Cotati which is over one acre and ALD did a great job finding our leak , it was under a deck so it wasn't easy to find , and they came back the next day to fix it as we were trying to figure out if we could do it ourselves I'm glad we let them do it. I would recommend their services to anyone especially if you have a country property.

I received an email from my water company on Monday advising me of a possible leak that was losing 300 gallons of water per day. I had already scheduled an appointment with a different plumber for a totally separate issue. That plumber came out and fixed the problem I'd called for, but threw up his hands about the leak. I decided to call ALD and schedule a visit. The person I spoke with suggested I check my pool and pool equipment area very closely since it could be a problem with the fill valve. I discovered that the fill valve was accidentally left open - that turned out to be the source of the ""leak"". ALD saved me time and money. They could easily have just scheduled the service visit and charged me to do the same thing. What an amazing, honest company!
I used ALD 15 years ago at my home in Irvine and was really impressed then as well. They found the source of a leak, which was a strange one and had eluded other plumbers. The leak had caused a horrible mold problem. I had a new baby at the time and was so relieved to have my home safe for him and free of mold. ALD is the only company to call in case of any leak issues.

I experienced a leak in my pool solar pipes underground. I contacted American Leak Detection and spoke with Paul. His customer service and response time were top notch. Even during this shelter in place time, a technician was able to come out and repair the leak within 24 hrs of my request. The technician was on time and followed all social distancing protocols including wearing a mask. He explained the process and the repair. He even had to go and obtain special glue for my type of pipes. The job is done and I would recommend this team. Well done everyone. You set the standard for customer service.

Had a great experience on the phone that was able to guide me through to proper action on our leakage. We were certain where the leak was coming from so there would be no need for detection services. This is specifically forensic type investigation of possible leakage and where it would be coming from, not repair of the piping that we see.

A joy to speak and a ray of sunshine in otherwise bleak pandemic times.

Wholly smokes! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I had a water leak which I was told by our water company was going over 20+ gallons/per hour.

Called ALD told them my story and how another plumbing place couldn't fix the leak, and they came that same day. Fix the problem in no time. Next day with a few hours of digging, drilling, sawing, patching and all.. we finally had our water back on in no time and meter is running normal. They were very professional, we spoke upfront about their estimates and pricing. This was a tough time, especially being shelter in place with a water leak was bothersome enough.

Thank you, Jonathan and to the entire office from your customer service and billing! My family and I cannot thank you all enough for all that you've done for us. I will definitely recommend and will continue to do business with them.
