After a night of 92 degrees, and a morning of checking GFI'S and the a/c fuse box, I finally looked through Yelp to find a 5 star company to fix my a/c unit.
AHWA fit the bill. After calling, the dispatcher told me it would be an hour or less before Brad would arrive. It was about 45 min.
Brad introduced himself to me, tolerating my yapping dogs. He checked the control unit in the house, went up on the roof, took pictures of the inside of the unit which he showed me, gave me an estimate and a 5% discount for mentioning Yelp, stuck to the estimate, and so far, my house is cooling down. Woohoo! Thanks, Brad.
Will let you know if it's still working. (That's a joke - grin)

Water heater stopped working a couple days ago, called around to Sears, Lowe's, Home Depot and found American Home Water & Air on Yelp. American Home Water & Air had the best price for installation by far. They were able to come out the next day to install the new water heater. Called to give us a time frame, arrived in that time frame, techs were friendly, efficient and volunteered that they were treated well by the company. Will use this company again.

BEST SERVICE EVER!!! I called at 6am to have a softener installed and our ac served in our new home. It is 9:15am and the softener is install by Luis and Gerardo. Both of these men were professional and friendly. The ac will be served this morning too. I am sure brandon will be just as awesome! Stop looking and use American Home!!

My wife and I recently purchased a home in north Phoenix with water softener problems. I contacted American Home Water and Air after a referral from a family member. I figured it would probably be a week or so before they would be able to send someone out to look at our water softener. I am sure you can imagine my surprise when they had someone out that afternoon and he had my salt water softener up and running in less than an hour. A week later my wife noticed how much cooler our upstairs was compared to the downstairs. We are definitely finding things our home inspection missed. Again, the same day we called AHWA they had someone to look at our 2 AC units. I am very impressed with the professionalism of this company. We will continue to use them in the future and will recommend them to friends and family.

I have used American Home water and air in the past for a hot water heater. This time i had them come out for a water softener system with reverse osmosis for the kitchen sink and refrigerator. Tom came out and gave me detailed estimate including ALL my options . First thing this morning i get a call from Jose they are on the way will be here by 9am. Fidel worked on the outside and Jose handled the inside . 3 hours later the system is hooked up and other than the equipment NO sign they were here . IF you want want GREAT service and GREAT prices give American Home Water a call,

We wanted to install a water softening as well as a RO system in our home. Jose came out and inspected our property and gave us a very reasonable quote. We took a week or so to decide and called him a few times with follow up questions. He took the time to answer all questions professionally and patiently.

Fidel and Lui came out to do our install - they were very polite and great at making me feel confident in their skills. They did a fantastic job walking us through the install at the end and answered all our questions.

We had some gurgling noises in the upstairs sink the night of the install, and Jose came out to diagnose the problem. He also followed up with us to see whether the problem was fixed, and it looks like it has been.

Good job guys! I am very impressed with the level of customer service from American Home Water & Air.

Johnny came out and completed our annual filter change on 5/15/15. He was quick, efficient, friendly and professional. He answered my questions and was very helpful looking at the different things I asked him to check on. 2 thumbs up for Johnny. The only thing is the maintenance fee seems a little pricey at $104 for what seemed like a quick, easy change. Service was what I paid for I suppose and they did deliver that!

I highly recommend this company. The gas water heater that we had installed today was the third item from American home water that we have had installed. The first being the water softener system and the second being the r O system. Angel was our installer. He was super efficient professional and friendly. He arrived much sooner than what we were originally told. The prices that American home water charges blow the other competitors out of the water. American home waters price was almost half what a plumbing company in Mesa quoted me. We also take advantage of their water filter replacement service. What American home water charges is equal to what it would cost to replace the filters if we bought them from a home-improvement store.

I called American Home Water and spoke to Tom about replacing a leaking water heater. After a very short conversation Tom knew exactly what I needed and set up a replacement that same day! AWESOME.

A couple of hours later Fidel came to the door to set up my new hot water heater. After asking Fidel some feeling out questions (not that I know what I'm talking about, but I know enough) I had a solid confidence in his knowledge to do this simple task.

After watching him go I soon realized that this guy is a pro, and I am sweating bullets about how close I was to doing, scratch that, trying this myself. Swapping out a gas hot water heater is no simple task. Forget what youtube tells you. He soldered in new lines, replaced the valve, everything was included, and Fidel could not have been nicer. He answered all of my questions as I hovered over him and watched.

I like to do projects around the house myself, but some things are better left to the pros. As I said, I am counting my stars (and saved dollars) that I didn't start that project on my own.

Used them the first time 7 yrs ago for a soft water install. Due to only advertising by word of mouth or the web, they were far below anyone else in cost.
The work was top notch. This many years later I still use their services.
They are always on time and courteous/professional.
The products are the best. My water softener is still working perfectly.
I write honest reviews, good or bad. You can not go wrong with this company.
