My worst experience with insurance companies. First, they allowed they employees to force me pay for unwanted membership in financial company . They lied me that they need my credit card number for account verification. After I start complaining they pretend like nothing happend.
On October 4th and than on 11th I requested heating system maintenance. Both requests were cancelled for AHS cannot find specialist.
On October 23 I opened request to fix heating pump. For more than two weeks this company was stalling for time. They repeated like a recorder that field specialists still looking for specialist. It was obvious humiliation! After more than two weeks AHS finally gave me permission to find my own specialist. I failed. Nobody wants to work with ahs. Finaly, after i left complaints with BBB and Consumer Affairs ahs return me $125 service fee.
I received my electric bill. It was tripled because we run electric heaters to warm up. $180 vs $60 for the previous month. AHS refuses to pay my electric bill!
I will never recommend this company to anyone! Dishonest company! Terrible! Stay away!!!!!

terrible experience, they makes you pay more and more, is a waste of time their web site and service, and real state agent "" give you"" this warranty, because is another way that they can get people to thair scams. is not worth the money ant the time. Even the most easiest thing like rekeying the doors, i pay $125 for a person to come through Americvasn home sheild and thasn the guy said that his service cost $90 if i call him directly and wit h3 months warranty. what a scam

AHS is a joke. I've been waiting 2 weeks and counting for them to process a simple claim on a standard 40 gallon hot water tank. They assigned SPG Plumbing who never came my home, but billed me $125 service call fee. In addition, the plumber had me send him pictures. I had to drain the tank and turn-off the gas myself. SPG Plumbing told me they submitted paperwork, when they actually waited 2.5 days. Basically SPG is committing fraud and lies to customers.

AHS is taking no responsibility and everyday I call only to be told a ""supervisor"" will call you. No idea why AHS 1) contacts with a plumber who commits fraud and lies to customers and 2) AHS created a process for hot water tanks that take weeks!

Never buy a policy from them. If this was winter and a blown furnace we would have frozen to death by now.

This Home Warranty Company is horrible! They use Sub Par repair people and will send the same people again and again and they will not fix a thing!!!!! It's very frustrating because they will lie that they are sending someone else and send the same people.
