NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! ZERO STARS for sure. The only reason they are still in business (I am sure) is b/c they are contracted by Sears, Best Buy, etc. and are paid BEFORE doing their work. SEARS is getting a low rating on this, too!!

Where to start - they were contracted to deliver a dishwasher. Both my mother and father-in-law were not doing well, and my husband and I were both going to head to see them (3 1/2 hours away.) but I stayed b/c we were having our dishwasher installed Saturday. The joke was on me.

First of all, they had us CALL them to confirm that they were to deliever it. When you call - they have an ANSWERING MACHINE - which they tell you NOT TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. When I finally got someone on the line, the person asked me every single phone number and my address until they found out they were in the wrong screen- (well that just wasted 5 minutes of my day at work.) Then they said they would call and give us a FOUR HOUR WINDOW later that day. FOUR HOUR WINDOW - remember this.

So - we get our FOUR HOUR WINDOW - between 11 and 3 PM Saturday. - and then they ASK US TO CALL THEM AGAIN TO CONFIRM. Guess what I get when I call - Yep - the ANSWERING MACHINE that you ""CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE ON."" So the next morning - I call to confirm 11 - 3. My husband also called from PA that morning to confirm. BOTH of us confirmed. Can you tell I am pissed at this company? Yep.

My husband left, went to visit our ailing parents, and I stayed behind to wait for the dishwasher. I had already predicted after hearing the answering machine that they would be late - but I was hoping not. I was going to do things out behind my house, but wanted to be in the front to be able to greet the delivery person when they came so they didn't have to wait on me. Ha ha! If only they had the same courtesy! I stayed in the baking sun doing my garden to be able to greet them when I could have been out back in the shade doing the ""real"" work I needed to do.

At 2:30 - guess what? no one showed up. At 3 PM I all them - and guess what I get - THEIR ANSWERING MACHINE - where you can't leave a message! After this - I called there emergency number - guess waht I got - AN ANSWERING MACHINE! so i left a message - letting them know I had a delievery set between 1 and 3. please call me back. Do you think they did - NOPE. so I called Sears.

Sears said they would check on what happened. - they apologized and I let them know - they need to STOP DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I let them know how I had stayed home and sacrificed for them - but they could give a rat's ass about me! Customer Service? They have no clue. The woman apologized and said that the man left a detailed message. I said that was BS - b/c I was home all day.

So I asked my husband. Guess what the detailed message was? At 1:30 PM (still within the FOUR HOUR WINDOW that THEY GAVE US - for their own convenience.) the delivery guy calls ONE TIME and says, ""We cannot confirm delivery, so you have to reschedule."" - When we had BOTH CALLED THEM (for their convenience) to confirm that we would be there. This iddiot calls one time and then HE DECIDES he's taking the rest of the beautiful day off. Just BECAUSE he wants to. And Hey - he's already been paid - so why not? F everyone else. If you can sue for time wasted - this company would be BROKE!!

I had a stellar experience with this company after purchasing a lovely Bosh from Best Buy. The soft spoken gentlemen installers called in advance of arriving (30 mins. out) arrived on time and then with kid gloves installed the appliance. Not a scratch anywhere. Moreover, the young man installer demo'ed the usage and features. Very gentle install. Very careful. I'm a tough customer with high expectations and this was well done. Thank you very much!

Let me start by saying that one star is way to much for this company. I caked Sears to buy and install a gas water heater after getting 3 other quotes from local plumbers who came to my house before giving me a quote. Sears sent this company to do the install. Even though 3 plumbers said that everything is up to code, these guys wanted to replace the flues for both water heater and furnace for no less than $500. Then $160 for a drain pan. $150 to offset water pipes. $50 for t-p tube. Original quote was $1300.
If you have time to waste, go ahead and give these guys a call.

I bought a dishwasher from Sears. AHS was contracted to deliver and install the dishwasher. I scheduled it for a Friday. I was told they would be here between 2-6 pm. At 4:30 I got a call, their truck broke down. I rescheduled for the following Friday. I was told during the reschedule that I would be prioritized and they would come in the morning. The day before I got a call and my deliver time was scheduled from 2-7 pm. I called the office and Tracie was rude and told me that no one should have told me that I would be prioritized. I then reminder her that it was herself that I told I would get a morning appointment she gotten even ruder with me. Accusing me of lying. I took another day off work and waited. At 5:15 the plumber called and told me his truck was broke down and he wasn't going to make it. I told him that wasn't an expectable excuse and he need to deliver my dishwasher. I suggested renting a truck. He told me that if I wanted my dishwasher, I should come and pick it up from where he was. I will never do business with Sears, Best Buy or Lowes for appliances or hot water heaters. These three companies use AHS to do their installs. They are the worst company ever to deal with. I've lost two days of income and they don't seam to care. I cancelled my order with Sears. The store manager at Sears was polite and offered me an incredible discount. But he said AHS is the only vendor they can use for installs. I told him no thank you. Sears, Best Buy and Lowes its' time to wake up and see what a looser company AHS is.

If I could give them zero stars I would. This company is the worst. They delivered an incorrect color dishwasher (mistakes happen), then refused to come out on a slightly snowy day (okay), then called to reschedule and Tracie on their staff promised me a 9:00 a.m. delivery. I called the next morning and they said, instead, that they would be delivering between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. I complained about this and Christina hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The gentleman who answered the phone--who would not give his name--said that they had no supervisors and also hung up on me. As a result, I am canceling the order with Best Buy. This company is a disaster waiting to happen. I will not do business with them or anyone who subcontracts with them ever again. RUN AWAY!

Run from this company.
I bought a down draft range hood from Sears and they contracted this company to install on 12/13. The time window was 5pm to 9pm. I waited and waited and one installer called me and said they couldn't make it and promised me to show up first thing in the morning on the next Saturday, 12/20. He also promised that he will communicate the new schedule to his manager. Still, on 12/19 one representative called saying that they can only come between 1pm to 5pm. So I waited the whole afternoon + the whole night but nobody ever came, nor did anybody called. I called the company but all I got was a voice message.
DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Do not trust what Sears says about this company - professional installation, knows the work... Well, this company is very professional at breaking schedules and making you angry!

Horrible and rude. Run from this company. I got them from Sears and they damaged my kitchen while installing a dishwasher. Their response? They said to complain to Sears that's it. Sears did nothing. Neither will get my business again. Lesson learned.

If you hear this name, run away. They have the absolutely worst customer service and scheduling people I have ever encountered. They don't care about your project or your issues. They are rude, unresponsive and seem to enjoy it when they can cancel or inexplicably change your delivery or installation time.

Just awful. Don't know how they stay in business.

The only bright spot is that if you can fight your way past the terrible people who do the scheduling, they have some good guys who do the actual installation.

This company was contracted by Sears to deliver and install four new appliances. After coordinating a date and time, they never showed up plus sears provided proof they were ready and American Home services never showed to receive the appliances. I have yet to hear from the company after repeated attempts to contact them.

If you purchase products and this company is involved, STOP, RETHINK your decision. it will save you heartache and trouble in the future.......

This company was contracted by Lowes to install a hot water tank for me. There were so many items which I was surprised by:

They asked me if I had a bucket they could use as when they remove a pipe some water would come out. I did not and instead they used a jar a had. Later they asked me for towels and ended up having to use my paper towels to clean up some of the water. This is a company which deals regularly with hot water heaters which are full of water. They don't have this stuff?

They originally told me they would be coming between 1-5pm. They showed up at 530pm. I understand it's hard to keep a schedule but they couldn't tell me later in the day that they wouldn't be arriving within the 4 hour window?

I would not recommend this company. However if you buy something from Lowes, you may not have a choice.
