Horrible....the guy passed time from talking all the time then some of the things he acted like he couldn't do or wanted to do. I still had to pay him for the service call though even after I told him he didn't have to bother. A total waste of money!!!!

I ordered a new bathroom vanity from Home Depot on 2.29.24 Herb Penrod contracted with me to do the job. When it came in on 3.11.24 , he told me he would pick it up and bring it to install same or next day. Well he failed to do anything said. In fact he said maybe the 18 March . I figured out it's a bait switch method to drive up the price. I'm thankful to God I never hired this company.

I discovered I had a water leak in my backyard. It was in a difficult spot so wasn't clear what was going on. I live on an acre with lots of trees, etc. At first, Herb said no one would probably be available until the next day, but when I told him of a scheduling conflict for next day, he did all he could to get someone out same day. Couple of hours later, Bill Gundlach was calling me to tell me he was on the way! With his expertise, he was able to quickly figure out what was going on and stopped the leak. Additionally, he took the time to patiently explain what was going on and advised me with next steps. I'm especially appreciative of his advice regarding my yard lighting too. I was thinking I would need to get all new lights. He asked me why I would do that. The lights I have are nice and can be fixed instead of replaced, saving me a lot of money. I appreciate you, Bill! I'll definitely be reaching back out to American Handyman (and Bill) to continue making things right on my property.
