Today American Drain Cleaning Staten Island came to our home to replace our 28 year old gas hot water heater with a new modern unit.
They came in drained and removed the old unit brought in the new unit connected and tested it and we had hot water back in no time.
The crew was very efficient and courteous they wore mask and gloves the entire time,took the time to explain everything and left the boiler room cleaner than they found it

I absolutely would Recommend this company for your plumbing needs. Lonnie is efficient and knowledgeable with his work. During this covid 19 horror they come in with mask, they practice social distancing the plumber comes on time and they are neat and professional. Give these guys a call!

It was the second time I use them for a plumbing issue, and it's the second time I was happy with their service. I will be using them again. Lonnie was an amazing technician. He showed up on time, and came in wearing a mask due to COVID-19 Regulations.The price was Affordable and he was very clean while he worked. Even explain to me what he was going to do before he did it. American drain cleaning is highly recommended if you have any plumbing issues.

Terrible company . We asked if we can get a copy of the recording of the camera going down our sewer line they lied and said we would have it by email the same day . It's been 2 weeks now , we haven't received anything. Then they said they would mail it out but we checked the mail and still nothing. When I complained to bbb website They claimed that the copy of video isn't part of their policy so then why lie ? They just took our money and still no copy . Definitely will use roto rooter a real company next time

When you find your basement flooding it is a horrific feeling. ""How much is this going to cost? Is the problem major? How quickly can I get someone out here?"" were the questions running through my mind as I watched the ever expanding puddle on my basement floor. I sought out help from American Drain Cleaning and I am beyond happy with my experience. They got someone out here immediately which probably saved my basement and belongings from catastrophic damages due to water and sewage damage. Lonnie was professional and courteous. He explained every part of the process to me and explained the problem to me in a way that a layman like me could understand and took the time to explain to me measures I could take to avoid future blockages and measures to take should one occur again so that I could possibly fix the blockage on my own. That right there sold me on future use of this company. They were not some greedy company looking to take my money and leave me with no understanding on what happened or why it happened, they were looking out for my family and home by explaining to me ways we could avoid the situation in the future. Cost is always a factor when you come upon a problem like this and this company was beyond reasonable and did not cost an arm and a leg. Lonnie did recommend products that we could use to avoid future blockages but did not push them like other companies I know, he gave suggestions and left it in my ball park wether I decide to follow through. Again he took the time to explain to me how these products could improve our plumbing and avoid future problems. I see myself going through with the installment of the suggested products and using this company for all our future plumbing needs! Thank you Lonnie!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! The water in our bathtub was draining slowly so I called Andrew for a consultation. His partner Laani came over and wanted to check the sewer line in our basement, left without fixing anything. He must have loosened or broken something in the basement because it has been leaking water since he left.

It has been over a week and both men are UNREACHABLE. Not even a call back or a voicemail. I've been CALLING MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY and we CANNOT get a hold of ANYONE from this business. The sewer line leaking is worse and I have to spend money on another company to fix WHAT THEY BROKE.

HORRIBLE COMPANY DO NOT TRUST THEM

I had an issue with my hot water heater. Instead of contacting these guys right away, he opted to have someone incompetent come for the job. Needless to say 4 days later and quite disgusted, I freaked out because nothing was being done. Finally the landlord got in touch with American Drain Cleaning and Andrew came that evening to assess the problem. He and his crew arrived the following day with a new hot water heater and the proper equipment to drain the existing one (the first guy showed up with only a wrench and no hose). They were efficient and neat. Everything was perfect. Very friendly and did a great job. I would definitely recommend these guys for any plumbing job!!!

I had a positive experience with this plumbing company. I felt the price was fair considering the work being done. I compared quotes with other plumbing companies and although American Drain was not significantly lower, they were lower than the others. I also spoke with the owner who came to my home throughout the whole process. I felt they were honest and i had no problems afterwards, so in my eyes they are worth recommending.

Andrew and the crew are fantastic. They came to help me with a Massive flood issue at my bar they offered sound advice throughout the entire process on how to avoid it happening in the future. This is my second time conducting business with them and they never fail to impress. I can't say enough about their crew and how awesome they are.
