Very unprofessional, this was a company assigned by our home warranty, we tried getting them to schedule for about a week, and then it's been almost a week trying to get them to send us the official report and they keep promising today is the day, and that's on the day they actually answer the phone.

My shower valve was leaking and had our property management company reach out to vendors who could service our unit. Derek came out and was professional, quick, and overall great technician. This is a small family-owned business run by father, son, and close family friends. Derek found the problem instantly and you could tell he's been doing this for a long time. Would highly recommend these professionals for their transparency, attention to detail, and timely responsiveness.

Most disappointing service ever. We noticed a leak in our garage ceiling, after calling home warranty they sent out American classic plumbing. While we were very grateful that they were able to show up the same day, it made no difference since they were unable to find the leak and never returned to complete the job. Two young men showed up, cut multiple holes in the ceiling and informed us that they could not find the leak, said they would call us the next day to schedule when they could get someone else out to look for it and left. They left our garage a mess with the drywall and trash that they brought in. The next day no one called, so the day after I tried to contact them to see when they would be coming back as the leak was still actively dripping. When I called their number it was sent to a voicemail box that was full, every single time. So I called home warranty for help, this was the only way I was able to get any information from this company. They told home warranty that they were waiting on an infrared camera and then would call to schedule the appointment. They stuck with that story for 5 days and never called us. I kept calling home warranty everyday and got the same story. After a week of calling home warranty, American classic then switched their story to ""there's an access issue"" and they could not come back until we removed the garage door opening mechanism and the gas line from the ceiling. They never called us to tell us, only communicated that to home warranty and refused to come back. After getting a new company to come out and look at it from the home warranty, that plumber did not have any access issues, was able to find the leak quickly, and left our home clean. Now we have to fix the holes that American classic made, and now we're sure that they were just giving us the run around because they didn't know what they were doing or didn't want to do the work. Definitely would not recommend, very disappointed.

This is the worst co ever!! If your home warranty co assigns this co REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE! I had a hot water leak in my garage for over 1 week now and they have not even done the report or fixed anything! I told my home warranty co it was urgent so they called this so called co and they said they can take the job and be out the next day. They didn't come out till 8pm the next day after me bugging them ALL day for eta and giving me excuses. i even got the owners cell ph#, Alex, he didn't answer and mailbox full all day. All they kept saying and lying about was that someone quit, then there was a family emergency. This young guy finally arrives at 8pm after bugging them, didn't even turn off the hot water, just said ""oh its coming from the wall needs rerouting"". Never turned off the water just said it's going to leak till we get approval to fix! Called next day still no report submitted! Even texted the owner Alex and had no update! This is now thanksgiving weekend and 6 days later no report and the home warranty co called them since Alex has no update besides that the guy called out sick, again some BS excuse. So they tell the home warranty co they don't know when he will be back so need to assign job to someone else. What a joke!! And they said they are family owned. No communication, no care, at least submit the report because i will definitely not be using them but needed the report to go thru someone else since i had to pay someone else that knows what they are doing to stop the water leak. All this time i would've kept having a hot water leak if i didn't call a real legit professional co that knows what they are doing. Stay away! Normally don't write reviews but this was ridiculous!

This complement was sent by my home warranty service due to my water heater not working. First, no confirmation call, showed up when I wasn't home, which cancelled my claim, so I had to start over, still no water heater. Second claim, no confirmation, but I stayed home bc there was a generic email sent by the warranty company stating they were coming between 7 AM and 11 AM, never asking if that was a convenient time for me. 2:30 PM I called in and the gentleman (I believe the owner) called to say I'm sorry he's running late, this only after I called my warranty company. Told me he'd be there within a half hour, I told him I had to go out again, but I would have someone waiting, have him information on the exact problem, where the water heater was, etc, still no show. Tried to contact today, voicemail fill, sent a text, got a call (presumably three owners wife, phone number shows on caller id with the damned last name) ""oops, sorry..."" was as her response. I got mad, she hung up. I don't know the quality of their actual work, but the poor communication tells me a lot. This company is not a wise choice.

We had a pipe burst in our attic right between our kitchen and living room wall. It caused pretty severe damage. Alex and his team promptly worked with us to diagnose and mend the leak. We are very pleased with the outcome and really felt like Alex went above and beyond for us on many occasions. He was knowledgeable about insurance and warrenty claims, so it was comforting to know that we were in good hands.

We have hired other plumbing companies in the past, but most of them tried to upsell fancy gadgets we didn't really need or were overcharged for parts and labor. If you want an honest and affordable plumber, American Classic is the best choice!

If I could select ""ZERO"" stars, I would!!
This company was referred to us by our home owner's insurance. When the plumber arrived to diagnose our water heater issue (in the evening, in the dark), he didn't even touch it. He took a few pictures and said it'll have to be replaced. He was at my house for a few minutes and left.
When our insurance contacted us they said the plumber listed numerous code violations and part replacements needed as well as a new water heater. THIS IS CALLED DOUBLE DIPPING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! There is NO WAY were were out of violation when our house was inspected just shy of a year ago when we bought it. Not only that but we had another plumber come out (who we trust but does not take our insurance) and he called the guy's bluff!

This plumber tried to double dip knowing the insurance doesn't cover certain code violations or parts.

SCAMMERS!!!!!!
