I have only given positive reviews, this is the only negative review I have ever written.
I specifically asked American Brothers to come out with LEAK DETECTION EQUIPTMENT, they showed up before I got home and spoke to my wife.
They DID NOT bring any detection equipment, they DID NOT find the leak and actually told us it was a slab leak on the hot side, of the plumbing with a very expensive re route. They were WRONG, it was a water pressure regulator outside the home, a small $380 repair.( THE NEXT PLUMBER FOUND IT)
My wife put me on the phone with the lady who made the appointment, she said the plumber forgot the equipment , I did not want my wife to give the plumber the voucher from the water authority, as they didn't find the leak or bring the equipment, she said he kept asking for it, and she was alone so she gave it to him. I called American Brothers the next day to resolve the issue and they said the owner would call me back, that was two weeks ago. I have never heard back from them. The voucher should have gone to the other company who actually found and fixed the issue.

Be wary. They charge by the hour, the job, and the KNOWLEDGE. I know nothing about plumbing and had a bad leak in my attic. Turned out to be a sharkbite pex fitting. Easily accessible. He quoted me a high price for what I thought would be a very involved job. He went out, turned off the water, got the parts from his truck, went up the ladder, came down in literally five minutes, went back out, turned the water back on, came in and checked it and said he was done. In total he was at my house for 20 minutes. And charged $300.00. I don't think it took that much of his KNOWLEDGE to replace that fitting in five minutes. I'm a senior, on a budget, and desperately needed my water back on. So I feel stupid for being so trusting, gullible, and quite embarrassed. I think he had a good laugh about it when he left. I will not be using this company ever again and do not recommend it.

I called this company based on other reviews. I needed my shower handle replaced, as it broke overnight. I called at 9am, and they had a tech out by noon. Start to finish the work was done quickly and efficiently. He gave me 2 quotes, and the work needed was the lower quote. I appreciate the honesty in service. The tech was polite and friendly. They even offer a discount for military veterans as well. I would use them again! Highly recommend!!!

Very knowledgeable and he give you what need to do advise opinion if you have no knowing about plumbing. Very good customer service quick respond.

First work done by American Brothers Plumbing. George came out and did the annual service on our tankless hot water system. He did an excellent job and he was really a great guy.

American Brothers plumbing tried to charge me $1000 to solder copper pipe in the shower. This was after I paid $196, for diverter issue, and another $159 piping, and then the big whammie $1k ! I'm an experience landlord/owner, and soldering is about 30 min to 1 hour job. If you push the limit, then 2 hours. Thus, the plumber, Michael, is effective charging $500 per hour.

I call the home office, and price was confirmed at $1000. No way. I got another plumber opinion, and job was $300.

Price gouging if I ever saw one.

American Brothers is not your brother, but your worst enemy.

My main water line had a leak. The first plumber quoted me an outrageous price but obviously I had to get it fixed so I was freaking out. I called American Bros for a second quote just to be sure. They sent someone the day after I called.

Justin was super friendly and explained everything. The quote was less than half of what the other company had requested!!

He made the repair the next work day, got the city inspector's approval immediately and my yard was back to normal the next day. Highly recommend!!

I needed a water heater replace the same day and American brothers Plumbing sent Michael over. I told them the size by gallon and the brand of the one I had and he brought one with him within 45 mins from when I called. He gave me a quote and that's what I paid including permits.There were a few difficulties but he handle it and did not charge anything extra. I would certainly recommend Michael and American Brothers plumbing for a water heater replacement.
