Joey and his family are great. They tell you what they will do, are very fair in pricing and they will recommend and give you options all the time. This service is awful.

They won't make an appointment with me and I was called a ho when I called apologizing for being asleep when they randomly showed up. Representative said he'd show the next day between 9 - 9:30 -after- I told him I work nights an have trouble waking up early. I said ok an stayed awake for this.

Representative did not arrive at 9 - 9:30 an did not answer my call.. [Joey?] Did not have a voicemail.

Their maintenance personnel also claims to property management representative to of tried calling me several times but, I've no calls from them in my call log.

I called their office to setup an appointment an have not received a return call for four days.

This is to fix a thermo couple of a heater.

Its really embarrassing service I would expect of a slum lord.


I dunno maybe 800$ month rent is not enough to receive nice service... Or I am supposed to fix it myself? I'm not really sure what the risk of that is - I was told part of it is behind the heater an; I don't know, its connected to a gas line.

I did call late Friday as I sleep late an maybe they are closed today because it is the day after New Years? I am bothered that all this is happening before a long weekend as well though..

Overall between my life an this its been about a month to get this heater fixed an the best a person thought to do for me was to randomly send the guy over rather than make an appointment... Just thinking I would be there? That is so bizarre its sad.

This is of the worst service I've ever received.

I believe treatment may be better if you are the property manager an might cancel a larger overall service relationship.

If you are representing yourself without a property manager; or a property manager not seemingly actively interested towards you having heat.. You will most likely be treated like badly.

Perhaps a thermocouple is easy to fix an I am just being annoying? Maybe it doesn't pay much? I really don't know; I watched youtube videos an figured that might be the problem which was confirmed by gas company pilot lighting technician... I really don't know, I don't know these people so, for this to be happening is really bizarre.

I was so grossed out overall that I asked for a different person to service problem an instead was given the numbers for people I don't really want to call. Like why would I want this person or business in my apartment, let alone near me after this?

One part that bothers me most is this should really only require a few e-mails at most, I've been unable to get this resolved in such a quick fashion.

I feel the blame rests with Nationwide property management as well as Amerileak.

I am the property manager of a community that Joey and his team service. They are always available when we need them, they show up on time, and have extremely professional and friendly staff members. I have never been more pleased with a vendor that we use, and we use plenty. Joey and his team are an honest and trustworthy team and I would let them into my home anytime. They are efficient, keep a clean work space, and communicate their findings or work to us.

I would refer Amerileak to family and friends!

My place is covered in dust from a repair they made. I'm going to have to hire a cleaning crew. I had a tray on my bed. I moved the tray and I could see the rectangle of sheet that had no dust on it. Cleaning my floors took two hours alone. If they had asked, I would've covered my stuff. I'm going to have to get the rug professionally cleaned. They took my towel so they must've made an attempt to clean up.
I'm just hemorrhaging money. Thanks guys!

Next day: They offered to replace the towel they STOLE...but never showed when they said they would. No response at all on the dry cleaning bill for the rug, the cleaners, or the 2 loads of coin laundry being reimbursed.

Had a pretty substantial slab leak that was concentrated near our bathroom in our garage. I found Amerileaks on Yelp and took a chance by giving them a call.

When I called I was greeted by a lady named Carla who was very helpful and informative. I had many questions and she was patience and conveyed a calming demeanor to what was a stressful situation.
Joey and Dante were the 2 gentleman who came to assess and review the issue. They were both very professional in reviewing the possible outcomes and going over the necessary procedures that needed to take place. Joey wasted no time in locating the leak and communicating what he was doing the whole time. After realizing the situation was a little more severe then hoped, Joey proposed a feasible option that would save time and money so I wouldn't be stuck with uprooting my entire back patio. After Dante took care of the pipe we were all done and I couldn't be more happier with the level of service, professionalism and overall friendliness of Dante and Joey.
Based on my experience I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a reliable, sincere, professional plumber who won't try and push any additional products or services that aren't needed. I will be coming back to Amerileaks for all my plumbing needs!
