Toby and Ameri-cal repiped our home about 2 months ago and we couldn't be happier. After the purchase, we knew it was something we need to do and while we were proactive, it still caused a lot of anxiety until Toby came in. He was honest about the amount of holes and the pics don't lie, so we knew what to expect. The crew was prompt, respectful and did everything they could to protect our home. (But yes, there was dust and a lot of it! Just part of the job.) The piping crew was down a guy but they put in 12 hrs the first day to get the job done! The drywall/texture crew was very responsive and asked for feedback after finishing each section! We did have a shower where hot and cold was switched, but I called Toby and he sent a guy back over to fix it, so I was happy. We highly recommend Ameri-cal and are completely satisfied with the job well done! Thank you! Now I can enjoy my house not worrying if the pipes will break.

Recently we had a slab leak in our house, and determined that a full repipe was necessary. After receiving bids from numerous repipe companies in the San Diego area, we decided to go with Ameri-Cal for a few key reasons:
1) Price. The bid from Ameri-Cal was comprehensive - new Uponor PEX pipes with a 25 year warranty, all new hose bibs, pressure regulator, drywall patch and texture, and stucco patch, and they still came in at the lowest price. All the
2) Track record. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, but don't let the low number of Yelp reviews for their Carlsbad office concern you - their main office is up in Buena Park, and they have over 150 five-star reviews. They also specialize in repiping.
3) Ease of communication. I asked for a quote over Yelp and was connected with their associate Toby, who was friendly, straightforward, and responsive over Yelp message and text. He was able to give a quote over text message rather than having to schedule a visit, which made the process much easier. I had a lot of questions both before and during the repipe process, and he was always quick to respond and professionally courteous.

The repipe took one day to install the pipes (8am-4pm) and one day the following week for the drywall and stucco patch (9am-3pm or so) and went very smoothly. They utilized our attic (1 story home) to route the new pipes, requiring minimal holes in the bathroom and kitchen. They were also able to repipe to the shower valves without requiring new escutcheons, which is great. The new pipes have been functioning well, and the drywall and stucco patch and texture look great. I'm glad I went with Ameri-Cal and would definitely recommend them for repiping.

I had a hot water slab leak detected in my family room and the best solution was to re-pipe my home. I contacted AMERI-CAL, and Toby came to my home the very next day and gave me the estimate to repipe my home. He explained everything that would happen and provided me with a folder full of information. He also turned off the hot water lever from the hot water tank to stop the flow. I was given the option of Copper or PEX pipe and chose PEX. The workers were very professional and prepped everywhere they were going to make a mess. The job was done in one day and had hot water that very night. The next day the dry wall workers did an outstanding job with the texture and I just had to prime and paint. They also recommended I change out the old shower/bath fixtures and faucets since my home was 17 years old. My home has had a softener the whole time but with the copper piping the water would still be corrosive so changing the fixtures was a great solution. I received great customer service with Toby and would recommend the company if you need to have a repipe done to your home.

I cannot say enough good things about America-Cal and their customer service. We had our house re piped at the beginning of summer, along with an instant hot water pump. Everyone in CA should have one- it is the best purchase ever and saves so much water. From the very beginning of our experience, Toby was amazing- very quick to respond to our questions and very knowledgeable. Fast forward a few months and we are still equally impressed. We recently began having pressure issues with our irrigation and Toby, once again, did not disappoint- he sent someone right out to fix the problem. Sprung a slab leak in my home. Since we have had several leaks in the past five years we decided it was time to re-- pipe. Contacted several companies. Toby from Americal was at my home within 1 hour. Provided a quote in less than 10 minutes for Pex material with 25 year warranty. I signed the contract right then. Toby scheduled us ASAP. His crew showed up the next day at my house first thing in the morning. They re--piped my entire home in less than five hours. My home is a 2 story four bedroom 2 1/2 bath 1800 ft.² these guys were professional and really knew what they were doing. My water was back on and fully functional by midday.

The next day the patch and drywall crew were again at my doorstep first thing in the morning. These guys had all the holes in the drywall patched and textured and were done by end of day.

Having just renovated my house, and knowing that I would one day have a slab leak (as have many neighbors), I decided to proactively repipe my house to have all plumbing moved above ground. I conducted evaluations of several potential plumbing companies, and ultimately chose Ameri-Cal Repipe, which turned out to be an excellent decision. From the first engagement with Toby and the folks at Ameri-Cal, I was impressed. Toby's initial walk through and estimate was very thorough; he provided me with details of exactly what, how, and when everything would be done. In the following days as I had more questions, Toby responded to my text messages immediately with answers and reassurance that the job would be done right. Throughout the process, Toby was extremely polite and professional. Upon initiating the work, the process proceeded as follows. On the first day, four plumbers repiped our entire house with PEX. On the second day we had an inspection, and on the third and fourth days drywallers repaired dozens of holes in the walls. Each and everyone I interacted with from Ameri-Cal Repipe, whether in person, on the phone, or via email, was courteous, respectful, and demonstrated the utmost in professionalism. I am extremely pleased that I chose Ameri-Cal to do this work and would definitely recommend them for repipe work, as you can be assured they will be respectful of you and your home and do a great job.
