Have to give these guys a big shout out. From the estimate through the install they were able to turn a bad situation into a great outcome. Paul the estimator was honest and thorough in the services description. The install guys were outstanding. Water off about 9am and fully functional re-pipe of 2500sf two story by 4pm. I am pretty mechanical and a big DIY'r and these guys blew me away on how they were able to route pex through tiny accuses points and end up spot on behind a toilet or sink. Then the finish guys show up and other than the need to paint you can't tell they were here. I HIGHLY recommend Ameri-Cal!!!! I don't highly recommend dealing with the City of Yorba Linda however, wish I could yelp them minus stars. terrible assistance and LOUSY inspection services!!!!!! Thanks Ameri-Cal.

Update: If there is a job they don't want, they kind of just ignore you and never send over the estimate. For typical homes, the estimate is given up front. They can really improve on communication.

close to 5 stars if their drywall and stucco guys were better. Alex's crew were great and friendly. top notch in customer service. Francisco and Alex were the best. they covered a lot of things but took it down way too early, even as the other guys were working. dust got everywhere. I'd give the pex installation team a 9.8/10.

Paul V was the estimator that came out and he was friendly and straight forward. We didn't shop around but thought the price was fair.

Day two, the drywall/stucco guys came and barely covered anything. our furniture got super dusty. beds, TVs, kitchen counter, clothes, etc. I'd give them a 6/10. I'd give their drywall and stucco work a 9/10 but they're extremely sloppy with everything else so I'd give them a 6/10 overall.

They left hard stucco on our new valves, smeared wet textured walls and dust everywhere. there was a piece of tape on the wall that they didn't bother removing. they textured over it and it had to be removed after the fact so now that area has no texture. their shirts said call Sergio for questions, but I didn't want them to get mad at us and take it out on the job. we had to go in and remove extra compound that had dried all over our new faucets, sinks, wires, and hoses. we had to sweep up a lot of stucco they left behind. they washed their hands and tools in our bathroom sinks and the sink was full of mortar which they just flushed down the drain.

with multiple properties, we're considering trying out other companies before using them again. again, Paul, Alex and the crew, especially Francisco were top notch. drywall/stucco guys need to be retrained.

If you are in the market for repiping, this the a great company, very well oiled machine, they have a system in place better than anything I have seen.
Starting with customer service on the phone, they sent us an estimator that same day, he was very knowledgable and thorough, then when we agreed to a contact ($6150 for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen), their crew show up in the morning and covered up the house, went to work on the re-pipping. We had water that same evening, city inspection was done in 2 days with no problem. The next day the patching crew was there, they did a great job matching the texture of our walls.
Thank you America-Cal with your quality of service, you made fixing my house a lot easier. I highly recommend them.

Had my house repiped with the Pex pipes. Could not be more pleased with the whole process. This group takes its time, protects the contents of your home and cleans up after they are done to the point where you can't tell they were there (other than the well done patchwork in the walls.) Was told the job would take three, maybe four days and they finished in two. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

This company knows what they are doing. They are efficient, hard working and can probably get the job done in 3-4 days. Mine took a little longer due to a hiccup with the city inspector but Paul and Toby took care of any little problem and always returned my phone calls promptly. I would highly recommend Ameri-Cal to do your re-piping.

William from Ameri-Cal Repipe came out to our house to give an inspection on a slab leak in the kitchen area . He recommending using pex piping on the re-pipe . He told me he repiped his house with pex piping and I thought being a plumber company owner using that type of piping on his own house then that was the ticket .

William told me the job would take for the re-pipe one day . Roughly 2 weeks ago my doorbell rang and one of the plumbers showed up, I was impressed because they were about 30 minutes early . Within minutes a crew of 5 to 6 guys showed up to do the job. It was amazing to watch the guys prepare, each person had their own job to do and William and the supervisor Alex were there to oversee the workers do their jobs .

We also had a new water heater installed because the other one we had was getting old . All the work was done in a professional manner, all of the guys were so polite and they all knew their craft . After the guys did the re-pipe the county inspector came by the next day to look at the work and passed with no problem . The following day two gentleman came to do the patchwork and they also did a superb job .

Needless to say we are very pleased at the work that was done for us from Ameri - Cal Re-Pipe. Although we did get a quote from our insurance company's plumber, to us they were a joke and this is no laughing matter . Good job from Ameri - Cal Repipe & Plumbing!

I called this company on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm when my sewer main backed up. After speaking with someone on the phone a 2 man crew was sent to my home.

After about an hour the crew arrived and used a 110 foot snake to clear my sewer line. After about an hour they were unable to clear the blockage. They gave me a few other more expensive options but was told they didn't have the equipment with them and it would have to be at a later time. I was not charged so I was not given a receipt.

I hired another plumber the following day who came out to hydro jet the main and to run a camera. A tennis ball was found and removed easily but a approximately 4 foot long section of the snake from the Ameri-Cal plumbers was found in the sewer line as well.

How do I know it was from the Ameri-Cal plumbers? I've lived in my home 20 years and the piece was found in the new construction portion and I've never had the sewer line snaked before.

UPDATE.... I contacted Ameri-Cal plumbers and after the office researched what I had explained to them they called back and offered to cover the cost of having the other plumber remove the snake from the sewer line.

It's great that the company is standing behind the work of their employees, but it would have been better if the employees had told me about losing part of their snake in my sewer line and not finding out about it from another plumber the following day.

I got referred to Paul at Ameri-Cal and I couldn't be more satisfied! After interviewing several different repipe companies I'm so glad we chose Ameri-cal! Paul answered all our questions and was very knowledgable about the whole process which made me feel more comfortable. Toby came by to do the walk through before starting the work and he was extremely informative and thorough so we would know exactly what to expect. They were the only company that said they could get the repipe done in one day and they so we weren't inconvenienced. They also did an amazing job patching the walls. I'm so glad we chose this company, the repipe couldn't have gone any smoother! Thanks guys for doing an excellent job!!

Ameri-Cal, who I found via Yelp, did a full house repipe in my 2-storey house, in the last few weeks. They did a great job! Joyce was sympathetic with my unexpected slab-leak in the floor, and arranged to send Paul for a review right away. Paul, a no-pressure professional, provided a written quote, and he accommodated earliest possible schedule for the repiping. The crew that came in was very efficient and finished the repiping the same day! Of course it took a couple of days to get the City permit, which was very well coordinated by the staff. Another crew quickly completed the drywall work. Everything was done as planned. Joyce was in no hurry to invoice the job! I'd certainly recommend Ameri-Cal for repiping and Drywall work.
