Amen came out and tightened a bolt and adjusted the water temp. For 15 minutes of work he charged $247.00!!! He said that's his minimum charge. He made NO MENTION of a minimum charge when I set the appointment. (Other companies always warn you!!) I do NOT recommend hiring!! If I could leave zero stars I would.

Amen is an honest, fair and hard working plumber. He tries hard to figure out the what the issue is and if he isn't the man for the job, he will let you know. That's huge, if you ask me. I recommend him highly! He's a lovely person.

Amen has worked on our plumbing - inside and out - for two different houses over 15 years. I CANNOT say enough about how great he is. Super honest, kind, knowledgeable, available, does great work, low cost. He offers everything you could ever want from a plumber. I was so relieved to find him and have never been disappointed. He has fixed leaks, added sump pumps for basement bath, fixed major pipe problems outside, and more. AWESOME. THANKS AMEN!

I've had 2 water leaks recently from aging pipes and drain clogs. Amen arrived quickly, diagnosed the issue and repaired the parts for a very fair price. He always checks nearby hoses and connections and replaces items before they become a problem. He is especially good with older houses that have mystery layouts. He determined how my shut-off valve was configured, and even gave me a tutorial on how to best use a steel snake so I could avoid further complications. He is consistently polite and professional, and I am grateful for his expertise. With my house I might need a frequent user punch card. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Amen Ptah highly enough: he is absolutely honest, very competent and SMART!! He has been ""my"" plumber for over 35 years, putting new rods into water heaters, installing new toilets and reconditioning old ones, and replumbing an entire home with larger copper pipe 12 years ago with nary a leak today. He has come during emergencies to solder punctured pipes from baseboard nails and to do other emergency work. Always, he is helpful and reassuring and just a good person. I have found his charges fair and if he has given an estimate, he stays by it, despite unforeseen problems. He's the ONLY bright spot in my long list of remodeling/repair workmen.

First of all, Amen has been my parents' plumber for close to 30 years...which is why I considered hiring him in the first place. Anyway, he's done tons of great work for us over the past 3 ish years...all under circumstances that we had hoped we wouldn't have to come across. He's done Time & Materials work for us, and charges fairly. For some of the more extensive work, he gave a fair quote up front, and stuck to it, despite coming across a couple of hiccups along the way. Anyway, I've referred other folks to him as well, and I've heard nothing but good feedback....thanks, Amen!

On time, friendly and reasonably priced.

Apart from fixing a couple of things at home (for which he charged half of the other quote I had), he also spent some time figuring out what was wrong with a faucet that was not working well. I decided not to fix it right now, and still he did not charge me anything for the half hour he spent in the diagnosis.

I am calling him again next time I've got a plumbing problem!
