I had an excellent experience from AMC plumbing. My hot water stop working and I was referred by a contractor to call AMC plumbing and spoke to Andrew. He was able to fit me in his schedule and had my hot water back on the next day. Both gentlemen were very respectful and would highly recommend this AMC plumbing.

Do not hire this company for anything complicated!
We hired Andrew to replace a boiler in our 2 pipe steam system in a 90 yr. Old house. He had done other minor plumbing projects for us with which we were happy but this one did not work out as well.
It became clear he did not have experience with this type of system and initially did not install the pipes to,the boiler correctly which became apparent after we finally consulted a "" senior"" plumber who advised him how to redo the piping.
After the installation was correct 1/3 of the radiators in the house were not working which had been functional with the old boiler. He was unable to figure out why so we had to hire another company at several thousand dollar cost and it turned out that Andrew had not properly skimmed the oil out of the boiler used to attach some of the pipes which spread throughout the system and this oil clogged radiator steam traps which made the radiators nonfunctional.
This added several thousand dollars extra cost and he did not respond to our request to discuss the findings of the senior plumber. He told us he has been in independent business for 5 years but clearly has not encountered all the problems one will find in old houses around this area and did not have the knowledge for this sort of job.

Extremely pleased with Andrew's work. We had to replace a boiler. Got an estimate from one of the big companies before contacting AMC. What a difference! We saved several thousand dollars for an equivalent boiler with AMC. Andrew was great to work with -- great communication and got the job done quickly. We'll be using AMC for any future plumbing work.

Andrew was very responsive, and came the same day to fix the drain. He and his helper fixed the drain quickly. It worked well for a while, however developed a leak after a few weeks. He stands by his work. came out and repaired it promptly.
I highly recommend AMC Mechanical for all your plumbing needs.

Overpriced for the work that was done. Charged $$300 the first hour and $220 per hour afterwards. was not able to resolve issue with boiler and I needed to call in someone else to check the boiler to tell me what was wrong with it. Cleaned the boiler but didn't do a good job as there was still debris underneath the burners. Didn't provide a receipt for work done either. Expected more professional work for the price paid.

Andrew was very responsive and communicated clearly when planning the scope of work. He was able to work flexibly receiving photos of the space and provided a meaningful estimate, followed by a quote after a visit. He provided multiple options for our water heat replacement. Andrew was much easier to communicate with, and more responsive, than other plumbers and tradespeople I have worked with in the past. We ultimately went with a heat pump water heater. Andrew and his team were on time and finished the installation quickly, and were familiar with the processes for obtaining rebates through Mass Save. I highly recommend working with AMC.

Our hot water heater died on a Tuesday night. I reached out to 5 or 6 contractors. Andrew gave us a good price and could come on Thursday morning. They came on time (8:00 am) and everything was completed by 10:00 am. One thing I loved- there were a couple of small additions at no charge. Andrew replaced a vent that was too small and he felt could cause a carbon monoxide issue. I appreciate that it was included- no nickel and diming.

We had a great experience and I would highly recommend AMC Mechanical.

Job well done and great communication from the AMC team. Two faucets, a shower head, and a sink sprayer installed. The job proved a bit more complex and they took the time to do it right.
