We hired them to do a portico and figured we'd add in painting a room that we never got around to doing ourselves. At first glance everything seemed fine, but then we noticed a large wet spot where paint had clearly been spilled and they tried to clean up without telling us. There were also 4 small stains elsewhere on the carpet, 2 from where they left the paint cans dripping on the floor. There are drops of paint on our light switches and the baseboard. If this is how they handle a basic job we have no faith in a larger one so have asked for the deposit back and never got the portico. They are responsive about complaints and offered to clean the carpet. They did refund us and when it was clear the carpet was damaged beyond being able to be cleaned they gave us some money to replace it. This is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Incredibly unprofessional company, especially when it comes to transparency and communication. Over a 2 month period I asked a dozen times to speak with someone over the phone to get details of my project and was constantly turned down or ignored. Would get one sentence responses to emails that didn't actually answer any of my questions on timelines or what to expect once we would get started.

Needed to get this project done quickly and since we were already months into ""planning"" I paid them 50% upfront. The owner then proceeded to cancel the project THE NIGHT BEFORE they were supposed to start which was only communicated to me 2 days before.

It is obvious this company is taking full advantage of customers in this market, choosing who to work with and how to treat them. I just wish they didn't waist so much of my time and turned the job down earlier in the process, before signing a mutual contract.

After all was said and done though this was a blessing in disguise for my family. I found a much more reliable and communicative contracting company for the immediate project and many more to come.

We have had AMC work on close to a dozen projects in our home, most recently a new fence. They promised a two day turnaround- and I was skeptical- and then they finished in ONE DAY!!! I can not recommend AMC strongly enough! Professional, courteous, timely, and have an amazing final product!

Top notch service. Prompt and friendly contractors. They made sure the job was right the first time and made sure I was satisfied prior to departing my house. They repaired my living room ceiling from some water damage, and painted the area post repairs. You can't tell there was ever any damage. Highly recommend!

I'm new to the area and finding a trustworthy, reliable contractor for home repairs is not an easy task and filled with uncertainty. I reached out to Carlos at AMC Contracting because I have seen many positive reviews from neighbors on NextDoor. Big Plus - Carlos regularly gives back to the community! Carlos was quick to respond, answered my questions and provided a quote for the work I needed (replacement of two toilets). He ordered the toilets I had selected, took care of delivery and his guys showed up just when he said they would. After confirming the work order and ensuring they had all the necessary parts, Victor completed the installation. He made sure to turn off the water for the entire condo, just to be sure there were no unexpected water issues, put paper down to protect my floors and went to work. When he was finished, he asked me to test the toilets, confirm that I was satisfied and cleaned up everything before leaving. All work was completed for a reasonable price including haul-away and disposal of the old toilets.

Fully satisfied and happy customer. I won't hesitate to call Carlos and AMC Contracting for my next project.

I could not be happier with the work Carlos and his team did for us. He redid part of our master bathroom and not only is it beautiful, but he always provided quick and consistent communication and was very reasonable with pricing. His guys were super respectful and cleaned the space up well after every workday. When we ran into issues with the a damaged vanity from wayfair, Carlos did everything he could to help and make sure the job got done right. I will definitely be back in touch for future remodels/repairs and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were very happy with Carlos and AMC Contracting. His prices were very competitive for renovating the first floor of our home. The work was completed in the promise time line. He was very helpful in making good design choices but staying within our budget. And he was very helpful when I realized the paint that I had chosen was definitely NOT what I wanted. He stopped work immediately, helped me choose a different paint, and redid/resumed the work. He did not charge anything extra although he now had 10 gallons of paint he couldn't use. They painted the first floor, refinished my kitchen cupboards, removed popcorn from ceiling, put down granite counter tops, and redid my front stairs. We were very pleased with the results!
