Mike of Ambrose is a nice, honest guy. Gives a lot of information (some as a young woman made me feel stupid, but I guess good to know). Fixes problems quick. Prices honest. A little difficult to schedule with tho. I've made 5 phone calls for two visits trying to track him down as ""I don't have my schedule on me""... Little annoying.

Living in a neighborhood with mature trees is great, except when it comes to tree roots in the sewer lines. When water came up through the laundry room drain and into our den, we called Ambrose Plumbing.

The initial service call was uneventful and we thought everything was good to go. In less than a month, we had the 2nd flood - same culprit: roots in the pipes. Called Ambrose and was charged for the visit. Flood #3 occurred 6 days later -- roots in the pipes. It was very apparent that the owner was not happy to be there. He told me that he ""had to"" charge a service call of nearly $100.00. **After** I reluctantly paid the bill and signed the receipt, they wrote ""Cannot Warranty"" on the bill and handed it to me.

The three trips and $600 later, we called the city. Using a camera snaked through the lines, they determined that there were still tree roots in the line and that we should be very cautious washing clothes, taking showers, etc., to avoid flood #4, until new plumbers come back to complete the job.

Cannot recommend as they didn't finish the job and would not stand by their work (""Cannot warranty' is written on each receipt). Expensive lesson learned.

We had a leak in our shower called Ambrose plumbing they worked around my schedule very courteous and professional. It was discovered that is was a caulking issue not plumbing. So honest & didn't charge me anything for coming out !! When I asked how much do I owe the response was "" nothing I didn't fix the problem ""

Great company! I have used them twice since I bought a house. The first time over the summer they were able to fit me into their schedule and fixed my toilet problem in no time. This winter they were quick to respond to our emergency when out pipe burst. Reasonably priced, above average quality. Honest guys who explain everything in terms that I can understand. This will be the only plumbing company I will use from now on. And I will recommend them to anyone.

I have had some plumbing issues for quite some time...leaky faucet, upstairs toilet not working, a leak in the bathroom, but had put off calling a plumber because I was afraid of how much it would cost. I called Ambrose Plumbing today and Mike came to the house in about 90 minutes, even though it wasn't an emergency. He explained everything he was doing and why, gave me tips about a few other issues in my house, worked quickly and efficiently. He was very personable and cleaned up as he was working. On top of all that, his prices were so reasonable! I couldn't be happier and am glad to know I now have a plumber in my contact list that is honest, hardworking, and reliable!

We have had Mike out for several repairs. The latest required a call at 9 pm due to a clog. Mike, as he has every time, found the problem and fixed it quickly while giving us great advice on avoiding future problems. The bill was way under what Inwould have expected for Ann after hours call. Mike is an honest and hard working plumber. A rarity in this day and age.

Mike is the best!

One time we had some flooding in our basement. We noticed it around 11PM and we panicked - worried that no one can help us that time of the night. We called Mike right away and he came out despite the very bad rain. He figured the problem right away and helped us by lending us some tubes that he had on his truck.

He came back the next day to permanently fix the problem.
