We signed up for an inspection and check-up on our HVAC system since we had moved here only 5 months ago and knew nothing about our unit. Shawn Sheneman arrived at the designated time and informed me of what he was going to do. When he was done Shawn gave me a lot of information about our system which I had no idea. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Shawn explained our options to us. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Shawn is undoubtedly a valuable asset to Ambient Edge. When it comes time for us to call for a repair, installation or anything to do with heating and air conditioning it will be Ambient Edge largely due to Shawn. In fact we will explicitly ask for him. After a sleepless night, having discovered during late evening last night our air conditioning unit was leaking profusely, I highly recommend Ambient Edge. In response to my early morning message, I was contacted as soon as their office opened by a friendly, profession employee. She assured me it would be handled today. Following a phone call five minutes prior to arrival, Danny got right to work trouble shooting. After identifying and explaining the problem, assuring us it was fixable with tools available on his service truck, the leak was stopped and future problems avoided. Prior to leaving, Danny shared with us the value of an annual service contract, with substantial savings through routine maintenance and available discounts. We plan to take advantage of that offering. We are glad a local business hires, trains and keeps employees who treat the business as their own. I've been their customer for over 17 years. I've had them install HVAC systems in two homes, the first one when they operated as Advantage HVAC. I will continue to seek their friendly, professional and competitively priced service and highly recommend them.

This place is very expensive for their call out. $245 to tell me that there is a small leak. It took two days as I say in 90+ degrees for them to get back to me with a quote on how much if would cost to fix. They came back with an outrageous quote that would take a week. I called another company to have them come and give me a second opinion. When they arrived we found out ambient edge's person had taken the disconnect for the power. So another day was gone. The second company came back and said that the freon was a little low. They recharged it and said they would return with dye to pinpoint the leak. They also did the research to find that our unit was under warranty. A fact that ambient edge failed to do. I will never use ambient edge again. Poor technician, poor customer service and outlandish prices.

Total Waste of Time

To begin with the Technician didn't arrive until 7:30 PM when we were told it Would be between 3:00 a 5:00 PM. He had trouble identifying what component needed to be replaced.or so he said. He quoted a Price for a blower motor to be $800.00.

From there he started pushing to recommend having a new unit put in and estimated it at
$14 000.00; but said he was guessing about the actual price that we would have to have a salesman come give us a quote.

Followed that statement stating that their a big company and pricier then most.

We did end up having a new unit installed
Yesterday by All-Right heating and air conditioning.

The salesman as well as the Technicians that installed the New unit yesterday were professional and respectful and did a great job.

They sent out Plumbing by Rusty which was a total ripoff. Charged me $109 just for showing up and didn't do anything but tell me that it might cost me as much as $1600 to fix my problem. I ordered a super duper plunger and fixed the problem myself for $12 Beware of Rusty!

Our AC went out and I called late in the day to schedule an appt and Ambient Edge was able to make it out first thing the following morning - which was fine because we still had one working unit, and I didn't want to pay the emergency fee. Brian and Tim called ahead and arrived on time. The unit is 15 yrs old and I was sure they would push for purchase of a new system, but surprisingly they did not. They diagnosed the problem as a worn out fan motor and they had a replacement motor in stock on the truck. It was awesome! Great guys. Great attitudes. Great service. And everything was working again in about 90 minutes. I would recommend Ambient Edge and Brian to everyone.

What a price gouging company, I used this company to service my A/C systems in March, 2018. In June my mini split system stopped cooling and they came out told me a nut had vibrated loose, repaired the system at. I charge since it was under warranty. Two weeks later the main system stopped cooling, which seemed suspicious to me, I called them out, the technician knew exactly what was wrong, a capacitor had gone bad. I asked how much the part would costs dead told $190.00. This was on top of the $59.00 to come diagnose the problem. I passed on the repair, do to the cost, spent a very uncomfortable night another company came out associated with my home warranty and repaired it. I found out that the part only cost $8.15 retail. Even with a trip charge including the vehicle and the technician's salary the $250.00 bill is excessive.

Had to sue do to poor workmanship when they broken my A/C won a judgement but now they won't pay filed claim with their bond insurance but they are in the negative so no money people be warned they blocked me on Facebook so I couldn't write a review.

We bought this unit about two years. We were promised by salesman and workers unit would last at least six years. And compressor out now Really. Then call to have someone out waited four hours then on fifth hour he came. Charge us 300.00 dollars. Then wants 1500 more. Warranty covers. Compressor. Not labor we are educated people we understand labor but come on now 1500 dollars. Then office stated this is a set price. Omg really. Not. Really impressed with this whole thing it is summer. And need air. The office suppose to let us know. If anything to help with this. This is there products. And they are not backing it. One thing if we had not paid so much and was promise. So much more. Expected more from company. Now no air. Hot. Waiting for them to stand up and do what is really right
