Our kitchen sink garbage disposal hasn't been working so our insurance company sent amazing plumbing & rooter to come fix it.

They were scheduled to come from 10 am - noon and came exactly at 10am! It was great, most places usually come at the last second. Gerardo was able to fix our problem super quickly, in less than 5 min. It was fantastic!!!! I highly recommend these plumbers !!!

MUST agree with all the stories below. They ALWAYS have a part to pick up in Benicia, always have to check with the insurance company, ALWAYS are only 30 minutes away after an hour past their scheduled time. Theresa is TERRIBLE!! All the plumbers names are 'Juan' or 'Jesus' and 'Juan' is the 'Owner'. Just the most horrible service ever, or lack there of. This is their 5th attempt at showing up. Got off work at 12:30 and it's 3:50 for a 6 hour job that they should of shown up for no later then 3.
These guys are the worst, they are never on time. They will show up at your door a day late. They come to 'look' and always have a reason why they can't do the job. They are terrible at communicating and have absolutely no customer service etiquette whatsoever! Highly NOT recommended!!

Terrible service. Do not use this contractor. I was referred through American Home Shield. Was scheduled December 28 between 4-6pm to fix leaking shower and faucet. Technician Jordy arrived at 730pm and did not fix leak instead took pictures and said he cant fix it and will need to order the parts and reschedule for a new appointment. Advised me to call Weds Jan 2 at 8am since they are closed for holiday to get scheduled. I called on Jan 2at 8am and spoke with a Brittany to schedule and state my situation she began talking over me stating she was not a technician and I was asking her to please listen but instead continued to talk over and yell incredibly unprofessional and rude. I recorded the conversation and stated to her she is being recorded and that I'm a customer and she needs to here my situation instead she placed me on hold 3 times and told me a technician will contact me to set the schedule. Jordy technician called me and told me he can schedule me on Jan 4 between 4-6pm. On Jan 4 I get a call from Jordy at 608pm saying he is coming from Concord and is on his way but realized the shower cartridge he ordered was missing either lost or was taken by another technician. I was telling him that he is not only late again but now missed the shower part and will now need to reschedule again! He offered to do the work on Jan 6 Sunday at 630am as he said it was his day off and so I agreed. Now it's Jan 6 12 noon and no technician showed up, I called and texted without any replies. I opened a formal complaint with American Home Shield for the terrible experience we have received from this company and will also file a BBB complaint. American Home Shield attempted several times to contact this company as well as the technicians cell number but also met no answers. American Home Shield moved us to a new company and have waived our deductible.
This company does not deserve a one star but that is the only lowest score here.

Juan came out (on a holiday!) to unplug our sewer. He was on time, cleaned out the jam and answered all our questions and made recommendations. Very professional and pleasant. We have had poor service in the past from a few other businesses so we were surprised by his high standards. I also have a home warranty with Old Republic and they sent us Amazing Plumbing and Rooter. They came out September 21st 2018. We were told they would be at our home 1pm-3pm. They arrived at 5.45pm. I got a bunch of excuses when I called asking after them.
So they looked at our water heater for 2 min. Told us we needed ""permits"" and $410 in repiping which wasn't covered by Old Republic Warranty. After they left ""Sergio"" called asking for photos of the heater and piping. Shouldn't he have collected info like this on the job? Now my father-in-law is a plumber and he said that this was nonsense. There are no ""permits"" needed and the re-piping was not $410.
We worked to Old Republic to cash out the service ticket and did the job in 15 min ourselves without permits or great expense. We have a fantastic new water heater.

Edit: Probably unnecessary for a replacement heater of the same type. It's not an installation. Please withdraw the request for payment Brittanie. That would be appreciated. Thanks.

I live in Pleasant Hill, and we have Old Republic (OR) for our home warranty service. OR sent me the work order from Amazing Plumbing & Rooter (APR). I looked them up on the web and they had decent reviews with nothing out of the ordinary. However, giving them a chance was the worst thing I could have done.

On Nov. 15, OR sent me the work order. Shortly thereafter, APR called me to set up the appointment for Nov. 22. I was surprised and asked them if that was correct because it was Thanksgiving. They reassured me that they were working during the holiday. Come Nov. 22, Alonso and his ""helper"" came to our home and inspected the bathroom. At first, I noticed that they look confused looking at the hole in our bathroom. We had asked a family friend contractor to remove the closet so they would have access to see the piping underneath. A previous plumbing company fixed our shower head, after it was damaged by PG&E, and told us they couldn't fix the pipes underneath the tub. It was a 2-person job and they transferred the service to another provider, APR.

I looked at Alonso and told him that the damage was underneath. So, both him and his helper shined their lights under the tub and just stared. I told them to go ahead and turn on the water to see the leak. I thought this was funny because this is their expertise. To my surprise, Alonso says that he can fix the damage, but not today. They only had come to do the evaluation, and because it was the holiday, they couldn't go to Home Depot and get the parts (no sh*t). So, he scheduled to come back to our house on Saturday, Nov. 24.

Nov. 24 comes around and I get a call/voicemail from Theresa explaining that they had to reschedule because Alonso didn't have a helper because he called in sick. I call back and Theresa says they can reschedule me for Tuesday, Nov. 27. Great! My wife is home on that day, so I say that's fine. Comes Tuesday, and again, reschedule! I called them back up, annoyed and frustrated. This time it was Brittnie that answers my call. She said Theresa was out to lunch (at 2pm) and would be back. I waited, and waited, now it was 5pm. I told Brittnie I was pretty frustrated with their service, so she was nice enough to set up the repair date to Friday, Nov. 30.

I get a call Thursday, Nov. 29 from Theresa saying that they..yes, wait for it, need to reschedule! I told her, what do you mean, you've already rescheduled me multiple times!?

Theresa explains that Brittnie ""incorrectly"" put our date for that same day (Thursday) and that she ""probably didn't have a clue of what she was doing."" Furthermore, she says ""We've already brought up this situation to management."" Mind you, I recalled Brittanie having told me that her title was Manager. I laughed and told her, ""No, she set us up for tomorrow, Friday."" Theresa obviously didn't have a formal communication with her so she said, ""Well that's great! Tomorrow it is! The plumbers should be there between 3pm-4pm.

Friday, Nov. 30. It was 3pm, then 4pm, and finally 5pm! I called and spoke with Theresa. Again, in a nice manner she was apologetic and explained this was their fault, but they forgot to direct the plumber to my home. She further explained it was on their system and they dropped the ball. She then offered to have the plumber come Saturday, Dec. 1. She explained he'd be there by 2pm, and she would call with updates. I warned her that if that wasn't the case, then I would cancel with them and complain to OR. She apologized again and kept going on about how the plumber was a good person, he was always on top of his calls, and helped her put a shower head. The entire time I heard her, I wanted to yell back and say ""I DON'T CARE!"" Mind you all, this has now been 3 weeks since we've had a leak in our tub.

Saturday, Dec. 1. My wife comes to me while I was taking a nap and says ""Hey, it's 3pm."" I'm pretty livid by this point. I call APR at 925-756-5527 and 925-756-5526. I called them 11x and each time I got the message saying no one was there. I called within a span of 3 hours. I was under the impression that they were avoiding my calls, so I called private, and they were still not answering. Now, it's Sunday, and not once did they call me to apologize or give me another sorry excuse.

Avoid at all calls! If you have a home warranty service, ask them if it's okay that you call a service provider that YOU WANT. Most of the service providers they offer have between 1-3 star ratings on Yelp. This company should definitely have a 2 star. The only person that helped through out this entire situation was Brittnie. She wasn't the scheduler, but was nice enough to take initiative and schedule us in. Theresa was a joke. She threw the nice personality gesture, but as you can see, it was all just a cover up bs story. The company has horrible management and customer service. It almost feels like there is no management.
