Meet Theresa, who has been our office manager since May 23, 2019. Previously, she served as our finance manager for over a year. Theresa has over 30 years of experience in customer service, sales, and accounting. Her priority has been to enhance customer service and ensure her team is dedicated to outstanding satisfaction. Had a 2-4pm window. Nobody ever showed. When I called they said they could come after 5pm. What's the point of the window if you aren't going to honor it? Their solution to rectify the situation was to come 6 days later. Unacceptable. It would be ""AMAZING"" if they actually showed up. Frustrating when you take time off work to be home. I too ran this through Old Republic Home Warranty.
BEFORE YOU CALL THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS, READ MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. I WOULD NOT GIVE ANY STARS IF IT WERE AN OPTION!!
This review was written after each event occurred. Names are real!!
First of all, they should remove ""Amazing"" from their business name.
We had a scheduled appt today 1/18 from 10-12p. Its now 12:05 and I call the company. Apparently the driver was running late today and is overbooked. It is common courtesy to inform your customers that you are running late, not for us to call and check on the time your service rep will arrive at my home. After speaking with customer service, I was told that it would take another hour before he shows up, WTH!! Again, letting us know would have been greatly appreciated. I can see why they have 3 stars on yelp. Starting off as bad customer service.
Gabriel finally shows up and is no help. First of all, he tore the blanket up to check for the name and size of water tank. I asked him, why dont you just undo the strap. According to him, the new tanks come insulated and the blanket is not needed when replaced. He then rips up the blanket, see picture. I call my home warranty since I dont quite trust this guy. He has 24 hrs ro turn in the report and I should hear from them by Monday 1/21.
Its monday, 1/21/19, 9:30AM So I call to schedule an appt to have it replaced. Well guess what, Gabriel never turned in the report and Brenda is not able to reach him by phone WTF!! Here is another wasted day waiting around to hear from these people. Where do they find these workers? I know?! I call the warranty people and they cant do nothing without Gabriels useless help. My warranty company says Brenda is doing her best. If I recall on another yelp review, if Brenda didnt do much to help another customer, what are the chances of her helping me?
Its now 12noon, Brenda has yet to call me back, so I call again. This time Theresa answer the phone and transfers me to Brittany, office manager. Brittany says that she sent the paperwork to our warranty company on Saturday, 1/19. Hmm, who's bullshitting me? Now, Brittany is going to call my warranty company and call me back?!! Finally get an appt for 1/23, appt window of 9a-12p.
Its 1/23 @ 12p. Again driver is no-show at noon. I call again and this time the excuse is that Alonso had to pick up the water heater in concord and its going to be another 45min. Only this time, i tell the person on the phone that calling your customers and letting us know that the driver will be late would be nice...HORRIBLE customer service and a waste of customers time.
Its now 1pm, still no tech. I call again . This time Brenda says the driver will arrive at 2pm, but does not say what the delay is. You just told me that the driver informed your office that he would be late, did you not ask why? Of course, it would just be another excuse to tell me when i called you again. I'M FURIOUS NOW!! Waiting to hear back from the manager, Brittany, who is at lunch.
Its 2pm, called again. This time Brittany answers, supposedly just getting ready to call me. Well she calls the driver and its going to be another 35 F... minutes. Again, no reason just another 35min. I let her know that we should not have to pay full price for their LOUSEY bullshitting business!! I cant believe that they are only going to give us $30 discount because they are already losing money on this job?? UNBELIEVEABLE!!
Its now 2:41, 35 mins my ASS!! Brenda says its going to be another 15-20mins, driver in Fairfield. Calljng BBB!!
Its 3:05, now another 6 minutes.
FINALLY ARRIVES AT 3:15pm
Finished at 4:20pm.
I could have gone to work and not wasted my entire day waiting on an 1.15 minute job ??.
I love how he says ""if you have any problems your warranty company can give us a call""!! MY response "" NOPE, WE WONT BE CALLING YOUR COMPANY"".
There are also other complaints about this company on the BBB. I have also made a complaint on the BBB.
5 star experience with Amazing Plumbing and Rooter! We started working with APR as a result of a home warranty need to replace a water heater. They went above and beyond, even climbing high up outside to install an exhaust pipe.
On the basis of this, months later we chose APR after bids from a number of other companies for our plumbing overhaul to copper in a 100+ year old house in Oakland. They arrived on time, were diligent about doing a few extra things here and there, and were clean and polite. Really great crew and bosses.
Amazing Plumbing even continued to work with us throughout the inspection process, and we thought their work was awesome.

They were scheduled to come from 10 am - noon and came exactly at 10am! It was great, most places usually come at the last second. Gerardo was able to fix our problem super quickly, in less than 5 min. It was fantastic!!!! I highly recommend these plumbers !!!
Marie C.MUST agree with all the stories below. They ALWAYS have a part to pick up in Benicia, always have to check with the insurance company, ALWAYS are only 30 minutes away after an hour past their scheduled time. Theresa is TERRIBLE!! All the plumbers names are 'Juan' or 'Jesus' and 'Juan' is the 'Owner'. Just the most horrible service ever, or lack there of. This is their 5th attempt at showing up. Got off work at 12:30 and it's 3:50 for a 6 hour job that they should of shown up for no later then 3.
These guys are the worst, they are never on time. They will show up at your door a day late. They come to 'look' and always have a reason why they can't do the job. They are terrible at communicating and have absolutely no customer service etiquette whatsoever! Highly NOT recommended!!
Dennis R.Terrible service. Do not use this contractor. I was referred through American Home Shield. Was scheduled December 28 between 4-6pm to fix leaking shower and faucet. Technician Jordy arrived at 730pm and did not fix leak instead took pictures and said he cant fix it and will need to order the parts and reschedule for a new appointment. Advised me to call Weds Jan 2 at 8am since they are closed for holiday to get scheduled. I called on Jan 2at 8am and spoke with a Brittany to schedule and state my situation she began talking over me stating she was not a technician and I was asking her to please listen but instead continued to talk over and yell incredibly unprofessional and rude. I recorded the conversation and stated to her she is being recorded and that I'm a customer and she needs to here my situation instead she placed me on hold 3 times and told me a technician will contact me to set the schedule. Jordy technician called me and told me he can schedule me on Jan 4 between 4-6pm. On Jan 4 I get a call from Jordy at 608pm saying he is coming from Concord and is on his way but realized the shower cartridge he ordered was missing either lost or was taken by another technician. I was telling him that he is not only late again but now missed the shower part and will now need to reschedule again! He offered to do the work on Jan 6 Sunday at 630am as he said it was his day off and so I agreed. Now it's Jan 6 12 noon and no technician showed up, I called and texted without any replies. I opened a formal complaint with American Home Shield for the terrible experience we have received from this company and will also file a BBB complaint. American Home Shield attempted several times to contact this company as well as the technicians cell number but also met no answers. American Home Shield moved us to a new company and have waived our deductible.
This company does not deserve a one star but that is the only lowest score here.
Juan came out (on a holiday!) to unplug our sewer. He was on time, cleaned out the jam and answered all our questions and made recommendations. Very professional and pleasant. We have had poor service in the past from a few other businesses so we were surprised by his high standards. We were very pleased with his work and business and would recommend him and his team to anyone.
