A big thank you to Dave Amaya's locating service. As a customer of San Jose Water and my water bill more than ever I needed the best leak detector and I found him. Dave has all the tools to get the job done, not just identifying leaks but also tracking down a buried irrigation valve box which made my day. Call Dave at 408-763-0211.

I have been suffering with slow DSL internet service for years. The fiber box for cable TV is on the other side of my street, but the cable for my house was not connected. Spectrum was out here several times, but could not fish the cable under the street - it was blocked somewhere. They made no effort to find the obstruction

Because of corona, I've been working from home and the DSL connection was just way way too slow for this. So I called Amaya's. Two hours later he was here. He quickly found the conduit from the fiber box to my house and told me where he thought the problem was. Even better, he said he would bring a crew and fix the problem that day. A few hours later, the cable was run. The original crew had ""stubbed"" the connection - they did not connect the conduit from my house to the street conduit.

Now I am a happy camper with 115Mb/s!

David helped me on a Saturday find our power and phone lines underground. They tried to do the work on Friday, the day I called. However, one of their workers got delayed. David said he would come out on Saturday and do the locating for me. He found the lines, marked them, and the depth of the wires. He also marked our propane line. The work was quick and done as expected. If I wouldn't have asked so many technical questions, because I was fascinated with the technology, David would have been done much quicker.
