We arrived at our mountain cabin to find that the kitchen faucet was leaking badly and we had a flood underneath. I called Amador Plumbing and they cheerfully said they could send someone out the next day. The technician arrived promptly and set about installing the new faucet we provided. While the price was higher than I had hoped, it was worth it to have someone out right away and to deal with such a courteous and skilled team. Thank you!

Beyond expectations. Ron was awesome. No. Nonsense and an excellent repair to my eater inlet that failed from hard water corrosion (as he put it) from the well. I highly recommend this business and Ron.

I felt it necessary to post a Yelp review for folks who may be looking to hire a plumbing contractor in the near (or distant) future, that y'all should call on Ron Washburn of Amador Plumbing.

Without writing a long-winded, wordy review, Ron and his crew did a praiseworthy job. Ron was upfront and honest from the get-go. No B.S. or ""lip service"". I appreciate his ""can-do"" attitude and quality of workmanship. He was there when he said he would be and completed the work when he said he would. The cost of the project was reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend Amador Plumbing and Ron!

I had a need to do maintenance work on my hot water heater. They charged me $325.00. I questioned the basis for this charge. I was told that they were charging $175.00 per hour for this routine cleaning job. I don't think the guy was here more than an hour but he claims he was here for much longer and that they charged for driving time (I think he exaggerated the driving time). At any rate I called a couple of other plumbers and it seems to me the market rate is closer to $100/hour. I feel I was overcharged for a minor cleaning job.

This is the second time this year that I have used Amador Plumbing and both times I have been impressed. Today I called with an emergency leak coming into my basement. They moved around schedules so that they could get to me right away. They were willing to come after hours and once the plumber looked in to my problem it was clear that it was a leaking refrigerator. It was an appliance issue, not a plumbing issue. He still stayed and helped us trouble shoot and gave us advice. When it was time for him to go and we went to pay him he said, ""No charge."" How often does that happen these days?! I hope I don't have anymore plumbing problems but if I do I'll be calling Amador Plumbing.

Had an emergency backup in the toilet and into the tub. By emergency, I mean no toilet or shower and no happy wife! Tommy came out today and cleaned out the main line out rescuing my Sunday so I can have both a happy wife and happy life! Thanks Amador Plumbing!!

I had a water heater explode yesterday and was up to my ankles when I called Amador Plumbing. Serge and Tommy showed up in less than 30 minutes and I had hot water within two hours. I just received a call from my home warranty plumbing company asking which day they wanted me to show up. I was concerned about the emergency price charged and called to complain. Frank took my name, went and researched the situation and called me promptly back to explain all the things they had to do to make it happen so quickly. Now that I understand the story I am convinced they saved me a small fortune. As impressed as I am with the lighting fast service I am equally impressed with Frank's commitment to doing making sure he always has satisfied customers.
