I contacted AMA on 5/20/19 and they confirmed an appointment for 5/24/19 between 1100-1200. He even goes so far as to send out a spiffy text message with a link to an appointment page so I was impressed with that follow through.

Friday the 24th rolls around and he's a complete no show. No call, no text, nothing. It's not until 1030 pm on the 26th do I get a text claiming he ""completely forgot"". He even has the audacity to offer to schedule me for another appointment.

If a company wants my money but can't handle a simple function as having a calendar and keeping their appointments, how can I possibly trust them to take out walls from my home?

Shady! Our property managers at the apartments we live in use AMA. AMA came in to access our washer and dryer which is in the kitchen. We were told they would not need access to any other area of our apartment, so we closed off both bedrooms, closing our dog in our master bedroom. To our surprise, while review security footage from our camera, the guy from AMA spent quite a bit of time looking at items on our countertop, and then he went into our master bedroom! Not okay!

We had an excellent experience with AMA, to repair our cabinet under the kitchen sink, replace the faucet, and in general safeguard against future damage. Diana was very prompt in determining the scope of the project, providing a reasonable estimate, and setting up the appointment. Anthony (and his son!) arrived on time and with a great attitude. It turned out that the scope of the project was more than originally estimated, as there was considerable mold as well as water damage. To his credit, Anthony did not exceed the original estimate for labor. He left it up to us to give a bit extra, if we wanted (which we did). He spent the whole day there, till the job was completely done.

What differentiates Anthony from other folks is his ability to do it all - plumbing, woodwork, and electrical work. We had tried to repair this sink problem in the past, and plumbers couldn't do the woodwork, and carpenters couldn't do the plumbing (or the mold remediation). Anthony was able to come up with a solution that addressed the cause and the symptoms of the problem. We are very grateful, and look forward to working with Anthony again should the need arise!

We finally found a handyman that we can rely on to take care of handyman jobs that we can not perform anymore due to health issues. Plus even then, before the health issues, we really need help on issues that require more expertise and know how. We're glad we found Anthony of AMA Property Services on Yelp. He was able to perform the various jobs needed to get our rental property ready for move in. He was quick and knowledgeable and at a fairly reasonable price. He is easy to get hold of, and very responsive to our questions. This is made possible with the help of his wife who monitors, answers and relays questions to Anthony. They make a good team!

Anthony is a stand up guy. He did some electrical work on our house in San Juan. He was on time, worked efficiently, and finished the job. We had a small issue on one outlet bc of wiring from our old house and he came back the next day to finish up the outlet. He comes highly recommended and plan to use him for our bathroom and security system work in the next few weeks.

I would highly recommend AMA. I contacted quite a few electricians to get a quote to replace one ceiling fan and add a light fixture to another one. I didn't get a response from some electricians that day and the others quoted me higher prices. Anthony replied within minutes of my request for a quote and was able to come out the same day.
