Excellent customer service they work quickly with Attention to detail. They are very understanding and helpful. The best plumbing services in Acadiana area in my opinion.

One of the hot water heaters in my attic completely died, and the second one was on life support. I called A.M./P.M. Plumbing, because I had such a good service from them the last time I called for plumbing. Keith Menard called me back within 5 minutes, and told me they would be at my house at 8:00 the next morning, but Tony actually arrived at 7:30. He checked out both hot water heaters and took videos to send to Keith so that they could make a bid on what work needed to be done. It was a real mess, and a lot of work had to be accomplished in order to get two new hot water heaters into the attic with the correct fittings, since one of them had to be moved to a better location. Shortly thereafter, I had four plumbers working solidly for 5 hours to complete the work. Since all hot water heater work is different, I will not put the complete price here, but I will say that it was very fair for the two Rheem Professional 40 gallon hot water heaters they installed, as well as the other work they accomplished. They put cardboard down to protect my carpet, and even found my cordless vacuum cleaner to vacuum the floor after they completed the work. While checking the various faucets, Keith found a clogged drain in the half bath and fixed that for me. Additionally, they hauled off the two old hot water heaters. It gives me so much confidence to know that the work was done correctly so that I will have no future problems. Another job well done by Keith, Tony, J.W., and Scotty. Thanks A.M./P.M. Plumbing!!!

Tony came to replace a toilet wax seal. He took his time and made sure that the job was done correctly and I didn't have any other problems to address. Highly recommend this company.

We had a small leak from one of our toilets. The leak was coming from the water connection to the toilet tank. We have a home warranty policy with a national provider and notified them a few weeks ago. Their plumber missed two appointments before he was finally able to make it. He explained that the problem with the toilet was that the connection needed to be tightened, which he did by hand. Well, his diagnosis wasn't correct as the toilet began leaking again. So today we called AM-PM Plumbing of Lafayette, LA. AM-PM came the same afternoon and totally fixed the problem. We have used AM-PM several times over the years and have always been professional, courteous and prompt.

When we received our most recent bill from Lafayette Utility Services, I immediately noticed two things: Our water usage was twice what it had been the same month the previous year (you can tell by the graph) and our power bill was higher than normal for this time of year. So, first I called LUS, which sent out someone to check our meter. Upon inspection, he said that there was a leak in the house. He could tell from the meter.
Having not been especially happy with plumbers we had used in the past, I checked the Yellow Pages and, based upon what I saw in an especially appealing full-page ad, contacted A.M. P.M. Plumbing. I spoke to the owner, who told me that the problem could be a slab leak, which would be expensive to repair, usually averaging between $2,000 and $2,500. However, we had no choice, really, in the matter, so I arranged for him to come out and he and an employee did so promptly the following day.
Well, there was a leak, and he said it was going to cost between $1,800 and $2,000 (less than what he'd said over the phone, much to my delight) to repair the leak since the slab was involved. My husband and I, knowing the gravity of the situation, gave them the go-ahead. They commenced work and, eventually, after using a leak detection system, they identified the source of the leak--the main hot water line (explaining the increased power usage). Plus, they also came across a leaking valve on the hot water tank, and ""slow seepage"" from a pipe behind the tub in the master bathroom.
They worked for five hours to repair all the leaks, and they certainly seemed to know what they were doing. They have, after all, been in business a long time. Anyway, both the owner and his employee are super nice guys, and they were very thorough and seemed very knowledgeable. After finishing the work and running a thorough test on all the lines, they announced that we now had no leaks at all. We were relieved to hear the news.
The only problem was when we received the bill, which was $2,497, instead of the originally quoted price. The owner explained that this was because of the other leaks they had located and repaired. Most of the bill, however, was labor--$140 an hour per plumber, which meant that total labor was $1,400 for five hours work.
I really find that quite extravagant. Do plumbers really charge that much per hour? I don't know. Still, we were very satisfied with their work, and, again, they are really nice. I just think the price was a little too high, especially since the main leak was NOT under the slab, which would have involved drilling holes in the slab, etc., and was, instead, in the wall behind the washing machine.
By the way, we now have to hire someone to repair the damage to the wall, the vanity in the hall bath, and under the sinks. Would I use this company again? Maybe, but I would first do my research and find out if their prices are in keeping with what other companies charge, which I should have done in the first place, so there's no one to blame but myself IF we paid too much. Of course, maybe their prices are in line with other companies' prices, but I have a hard time justifying $140 an hour ""per man."" For two men, yes; for each man, no. I was a teacher until four years ago, and I never made anywhere near that kind of money. Then again, I had only a master's degree in English and spent 10 years paying off my student loans. Not that I didn't like A.M. P.M. Plumbing. I did. And, they do excellent work. I am just suffering from sticker shock, I guess.

Prompt, courtesy, professional, caring - just what we needed to fix our plumbing issues! They actually came the same day I called. Highly recommend that you call them for all of your plumbing needs and they DO NOT charge a service call on top of their prices..

I called desperate for someone to come out to check my tankless hot water heater (gas). They were knowledgeable, straightforward, kind and understanding. Tony was the man that came by so I want to give him a special shoutout. Another company quoted me the price of a whole new water heater (overpriced too!) and the AMPM plumbing company saved us +2k dollars. Will be keeping their card for next time.
