AM/PM Plumbing in Phoenix AZ gets ZERO stars and their office manager needs to be fired! We have been without water since Saturday, December 10 with a burst pipe UNDER our garage floor, and they have yet to fix it, and it is December 15. Our landscaping is dying, our pool pumps can't run which will mean hundreds of dollars to rebalance the pools, and we haven't been able to take a shower in almost a week! The office manager does NOT return ANY calls. When we finally got her on the line after dozen attempts, she hung up on us when we pleaded to have her schedule our repair, which she hasn't. And we've been told that what they outlined will cost us $1,000 more than our home warranty pays. Besides poor customer service, they are rude and disrespectful. Do not call them if you actually want help, service, or a repair.

Never even gave them a chance to come out for the service call. My home warranty company gave me them as a vendor and when they called we set an appointment for between 10 and 12. When 1230 arrived I called and was told yes that was the scheduled time and she would call the technician and he would call me with a status update. 20 minutes later after no call I then called my warranty company and after putting me on hold for 6 minutes he told me he hust spoke ti them and that they told him my appointment was set for between 11 and 1......really?
You send me a text message to confirm the 10 to 12, acknowledge that same time when I call but then lie when the referral agency calls?
Shame on you

****Resist the temptation to think that the negative reviews listed here won't apply to you, that's the same mistake I made****

I echo the low reviews as all others have posted - unprofessional, unskilled and deceptive! The only fault that I have with my warranty company, American Home Shield, is that they do business with this contractor - still !!!

Initial issue was toilet needing to be replaced and faucets in bathroom not getting hot water.

So many things went wrong that I'd have to write a novel to illustrate the events as the happened, so I will be brief.

In all, they came to my home a total of 7 times. The first person who installed our toilet (part of their upsell to upgrade the type of toilet in addition to the warranty service fee) did so in a manner that it looked as if it was done by a 7 year old with caulking slopped all over with no clean up afterward. Next visit, a new plumber (as requested) inspect the atrocious job done and responded by shaking his head - along with the office staff personnel that I forwarded the pictures to as well who stated a better job should have been done.

The new plumber had to not only redo what the first plumber did, but add to fix a bolt that we would have now known about lest we reported it. So the new plumber seemed to be a ""breath of fresh air"" until he offered to fix things that were not an issue and ended up leaving them worse than what they were...complete nightmare!

Fast forward to today, I still do not have hot water from both faucets in my master bath. I dare not call them ever again...

AM PM Heating and Plumbing

Booked a service and boiler check with AM PM Heating and Plumbing on Wednesday for this morning (Friday) told they would arrive before 12 (noon) phoned at 2.30pm asking why they had not arrived and the ""customer service person"" representing this company used the excuse they could not contact me at 9am to confirm the appointment because he had taken down the wrong number, they had the address and admitted they where close to my house but they did not arrive, he got very defensive when called on their lack of service, not a company I would recommend.

I have a warranty service, I called and explained the problem. The guy who came out arrived earlier than expected and did not call ahead to make sure I was at home. He came in and tried to unclog the sink for about 5 minutes. He told me I needed to pay him the $45 ahead of time. I should have known right then and there not to give him the money but I did. He said he would need the machine and that he may be back that day or today. I waited and waited until I got tired of waiting and I called my warranty company only to find that they don't work Saturdays and that the problem I had would not be able to be fixed under the warranty. They stated my system needed to be HYDRO JETTED, and would cost 300-350. I called another plumber for a second estimate. This is not a professional company, the guy dripped the snake all over the floor and lied to me. I don't appreciate liars or people that get paid to do half the work. I still have a problem and I cant wash my dishes.
****UPDATE*** We had Jireh Plumbing & Drain LLC come out to see our issue. He ran a mechanical Snake thru the system unclogged it. Cost only $73.

All I can say is WOW, I have had some bad experiences before, but this is truly a horrible company to deal with.

Initially, I was impressed. I called the warranty company (CHW, which really has been good to me, btw), and they assigned the claim to AM PM Plumbing. I got a call right away and was asked if I could have them out same day between 3pm and 5pm and they would call when they were on the way. I was thrilled. I said that would be great. 3PM-5PM came and went. No call, but about 5:20, Robert showed up. He was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. He apologized for being late, but the smell of cigarettes coming off of him was awful. He obviously had just smoked before coming into my house, which I find to be unprofessional.

I explained that my sink drains were draining slowly and after about 30 minutes or so of trying to fix the problem and working outside with my clean-out, he told me that it was filled with grease and needed to get authorization to ""Jet the Line"" and that he did not think the warranty company would cover it, but that he would call them in the morning to see if they would. He told me that he couldn't do the work right then, because his truck didn't have the necessary equipment, but that he would call someone out the next morning to do it. He also recommended a new cap for the clean out, which would be $15 and that the warranty company would not cover it. After he left, I didn't just have a slow drain, but a completely clogged drain.

So, the next morning, after no call and no one showing up, I called the office and spoke to Renee. I explained the situation to her and she said she would have to check with Robert and get back to me. She didn't call back, so after several hours, I called her back and she said that she spoke to Robert and that he would be calling me to get everything taken care of. He didn't call and never showed up.

I called back several times and left several messages. I sent a text and email through their website and still nothing. It's been 5 days without a kitchen sink to use now and even the warranty company can't get through to them. The warranty company is now going to get the $45 I paid AM PM back and put that money towards another company of my choice to get the work done. They have authorized me $326 to use with whomever I choose. CHW for the win!

If any of your warranty companies recommend Am PM Plumbing in the future, call them back and request someone new. I will be contacting the BBB, writing a review on Angie's List, posting this review on Facebook and sending a letter of complaint to CHW about this company in the hopes that they will remove this company from their list.

One positive experience came out of all of this. It turned out that I had another problem, completely unrelated to the plumbing issue and Robert referred me to a great company, RMP Construction to fix it, so, giving credit where credit is due, I appreciate the referral, but still am very upset with AM PM Plumbing after leaving me hanging for 5 days. :(

Whether you were assigned to this company through your Home Warranty company or not, every time you call them you have to leave a voicemail. It seems as though nobody answers the phone and they hardly ever call you back. To get an appointment even scheduled is ridiculous!

There are other reasons as to why I will not use them ever again, but not worth the time to write it all out. Just don't use them, ask your home warranty for a different contractor!!!

This plumbing company was sent out by my home warranty company. First, I want to be fair in stating that, this review is NOT about what was authorized or declined by the warranty company. Many of the negative reviews posted here are based on the fact that the claims by the warranty company were declined; after all, the contractor does not have any control over what is covered and what is not. Therefore, the reviews should not be about the denials of the claims.

This review is based on what the technician did as well as what he failed to do. The issue at hand was leaking faucets. Upon arriving, getting approved, and replacement of the parts in question, the faucets continued to leak. The technician then told m that, the faucets themselves had to be replaced. He issued an estimate for builder-grade faucets and then made the sales pitch that, to upgrade and get the like-kind faucets, they will be extra. The total estimate came to $1,300.00+ for the like-kind replacement faucets. The fact of the matter however, is that my warranty HAD the coverage of like-kind replacement.

I was not about to commit to anything so, I told him that, I would think about it. I then called another plumber I know, had him come out to assess the issue. It turns out that, the technician from AM-PM Plumbing installed the inserts improperly, thereby causing them not to seat properly. This in turn caused the leak AFTER the repair was done. The net amount I ended up spending? Less than $160.00!

Whether the inserts were installed improperly on purpose or not I cannot assert. But the fact remains, that, a consumer was about to spend exorbitant amount of money on fixtures that did not need replacement. In either case, whether the act was that of predatory or incompetence, the net results were unsatisfactory to say the least, and gauging an unsuspecting consumer at the most.

I will never use this company again, and if I have a plumbing issue, and have to call my warranty company, I will ask for someone other than this plumbing company.

I am typically very skeptical about the companies used by our home warranty company, American Home Shield. Our water heater went out on Sunday morning and flooded our garage. After putting the claim in with AHS, AM PM plumbing called me right away and sent a technician over within a few hours who confirmed that the water heater needed to be replaced (which our contractor also confirmed). AM PM called AHS right away on Monday morning and had the water heater approved, and they came back and installed it on Wednesday. The technician was very knowledgable and helpful, and AM PM was very easy to work with. I was very nervous about all the reviews, but we were very satisfied with our experience.
