If I could provide zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on the quality of work as they were scheduled to come between 6am and 10am, I then received a text that someone would be out at 8am. At 10am I called as no one had contacted me and no one had arrived. I was informed the technician was running behind and would contact me with an arrival time. Another hour goes by and I call again as I still had not received a call, at that point they said they wouldn't be able to come and would need to reschedule. They couldn't even bother to call me early to let me know to not sit around for 5 1/2 hours. Thanks for wasting my Saturday. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Just had service over the Labor Day holiday weekend. Plumber came out for $128 and would give estimate after arriving. After assessing the scene they quoted almost $500 to replace the refrigerator ice maker box that was dripping. I asked the plumber how long it might take and he estimated 60 to 90 minutes. Not sure who makes $500/hr. I won't be calling Always again.

We were in a serious bind because I discovered a leak in the master bath shower Thursday into Friday night. It was Friday night at 7:00 PM and we were aware that this service would be an expensive one no matter who we called. Looking at google reviews and came across Always Plumbing. (Just try to finding a plumber who works weekends is a challenge). I called Always Plumbing and they called back within 30 seconds of my calling. I spoke with George. We turned off the water for the night and Daniel came out Saturday morning and finished the job in 3 hours. Daniel provided a new assembly which was decorative and an upgrade to what we had before. There was a minor burn on top of the toilet due to the solder. He knocked $50 off the cost. Yes, the repair was really, really expensive because it was a copper line that needed repair and replacing the shower valve on a Saturday afternoon. However, we have peace of mind to have use of our shower, no destruction of drywall (other than opening up the wall), flooring, baseboard and not taking time off work. Peace of mind is more important than money sometimes. As far as the drywall was concerned I was pleased that Daniel cut the drywall carefully and kept the piece intact so all that needs to be done is tape and paint. He cleaned up after himself. The only reason why there is not a five star rating is because a repair like this is between $350 to $500. We were charged $1500 less the $50 off for solder damage to toilet cover.

Absolutely ridiculous experience with this company, don't waste your time. If I could give less than a star I would.

There was an obvious leak coming from underneath the fridge we discovered this morning, we pulled out the fridge and could clearly see where the water was coming up from. Called the first number that came up on google (unfortunately this company). A rep by the name of Patrick came out and charged $59.00 to do the exact same thing we had already done (look behind the fridge with a little flashlight) and tell us what we already knew (there's a slab leak in the area). He had NO other equiptment outside of a flashlight. Then they quoted OVER $600.00 in addition to the little flashlight inspection to provide an actual slab leak detection, and wrote another quote for a repipe - ON A PIECE OF NOTEBOOK PAPER, that's right - nothing you would expect from a professional company which would resemble a quote on a company letterhead with breakdown of labor, materials, time, or any other detail.

Many of the neighbors have had leaks, it's prevalent in South Orange County, and the typical price for detection is between $250-$450 (the highest being in an extreme case where floors had to be ripped out and a tension slab needed to be cut into to locate a manifold that was unusually placed in the living room), per discussion with 6 neighbors who just went through this within the last 12 months.

Most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with, beating myself up for calling the first number that came up, and throwing away money and wasting time on these people, when I needed a problem identified and solved quickly. Don't even waste the phone call. Take 10 minutes to read reviews (which don't lie) and call professionals who won't charge you for turning on a flashlight, write a joke of a quote on a sheet of notebook paper 1st graders use to practice the alphabet, and attempt to charge 3x market value for a service when there is so much qualified competition in the market place. Do your research.

Charged us 250 to cut a hole in the ceiling and promised us if we finished cutting the hole ourselves they would take off 650 from 2000 dollars for a minor fix. We had some people come out and finish the hole and when they came back they lied and said no still another 1650. We sent them packing and called someone a friend recommended. They charged us 150 total. These people pray on families in need. Really bad service and a total rip off. There is a reason they only have 2 out of 5 stars. Use anyone but them.

Talk about being screwed over. This company got me for $992 for a drain clog. Granted there were roots going to the main drain line which they snaked out but $250 an hour for that? Attorneys barely make that kind of money! Clearly they pushed the ""woman"" button on their calculator and fucked me in the ass. On top of that I have an irrigation leak and they wanted to charge $550 for a leak detection that won't even detect a leak in pvc piping! Go fish! The leak is in a '10 area! Always plumbing is more like Always fuck you plumbing! I won't even rate them after they raped me but in order to post this I had to give a one star rating! They deserve a negative star rating!

Bad times. They showed up to find and fix a leak. They told us it would be $555 to cut as many holes as needed to find the leak... then proceeded to cut a large hole in the exterior wall and stucco and advise they had to come back the next day as it was getting dark. They came back the next day and cut another large hole in the stucco and exterior wall, this time behind the valves that were leaking. Then they said that was going to be another $555!We reminded them that they said $555 to find the leak no matter what. They ""waived"" the additional $555...then proceeded to tell us all the work that supposedly needed to be done to fix the leak. I've remodeled several houses and knew the repair was relatively minor. I asked how much, they said another $1500. Whaaaaa?! Umm buhbye. Had another plumber do it for $225.

We had a challenging experience in the field but we called Joe the Owner and he was a standup guy who listened to us, empathized and resolved every issue we expressed.

I had sewage backing up in my downstairs toilet this morning. The cheerful Daniel came out sooner than he'd estimated, fixed the problem and cleaned up after himself. The only way I'd be happier was if he could have done it all for free.

I don't know how they stay in business. I had them come out and explained the issue several times; a gas line to my BBQ needed to be replaced. They dug two holes, charged me $590 and told me they needed to replace the gas line. No kidding? Then two other guys showed up, ripped apart my BBQ and left. They gave me an estimate for $4875 to replace my gas line. I got another bid for half the price. Always Plumbing is really not very good at what they do.
